a cool dude who’s comfortable with himself and chill with everyone he meets, andie practically seeps mellow vibes that get the best of those around him. he’s down to earth as real as it gets - he doesn’t sugarcoat things, or act like the worst will happen, or in any sense pretend like something isn’t what it is. he doesn’t mean any harm by being straightforward, he simply can’t take a moment of drama !

a neighborly grin is sent to any passersby andie happens to make eye contact with - you’d think even strangers are friends by the way he treats them. he doesn’t necessarily try to make friends, so some days he wakes up and finds himself wondering how more than two people want to hang out with him as he checks his unread texts.

as pleasant as this kal is, there are times he can be a drag. the rare time he does remember the date of an outing, he tends to call if off, something about not feeling all that up to it - it’s awfully clear he’s just a lazy beanbag. he doesn’t like to have people physically clinging on to him, or even so much as rest a hand on his shoulder. personal space is as important to him as the air he breathes.

andie can be emotional, an almost uncharacteristic trait. he doesn’t try to hold back tears when watching a sad movie. but with this, he’s a good person to confront if someone wants to spill their feelings, because he’ll listen and even if he can’t relate, he’ll still connect to the person and be there. and then the moment will get oddly sweet, and he’ll have to turn away because he can feel his cheeks burning.

a yell might echo down the hall here and there, and it might have been andie just once, a momentary slip in his typically calm self. a dash of paranoia litters his thoughts from time to time, but it doesn’t easily show. he’s personified sleep, a peaceful night with only drops of discourse every other week. andie is a kalon who’s all too good to be true, but if there’s really a catch to him, no one has yet found it.

andie, despite being rather lazy and forgetful, is a pretty good student. he gets good
grades and isn’t a troublemaker, though he does occasionally get called out for talking
to friends when he shouldn’t be. he could probably be in higher level classes if he applied
himself, but he’s got better things to do.

science ;; science is fine, but not really his thing ; some of it is sorta cool tho !!
english ;; god get him out of this class ;; he doesn’t like anything they do in there
photography ;; like his favorite class bc he’s rlly into photography

sweets
andie has a hard time resisting an open bag of chocolate, or getting a lava cake after dinner when he knows he’s already about ready to burst. he does have a cap on how much sugar he can handle, but it’s not often he hits that limit. while all sweets he’s tried have been pretty good, he particularly likes cake- a lot of his taste for it has to do with the texture, with a good cake being soft and moist. also, angel food cake is super fun to eat, with it’s strange fluffiness, though generally andie prefers chocolate things. dark chocolate isn’t sweet enough, and white chocolate is too sweet. milk is the perfect balance.

candy is fine but the flavors tend to be sort of off, or else they’re practically only colored sugar and that’s of no interest to andie.


texture sensitive
often, the reason why andie dislikes a food is not because the food doesn’t taste good (usually it’s just fine), but because the texture is gross to him. he isn’t sure why textures affect him so much, but a good texture will make food much, much better, while a bad texture will make food practically inedible.


meats
ribs have been a favorite of andie’s for a really long time. it’s the only meat product he doesn’t mind picking off a bone (chicken wings and steak are often just work to him). besides ribs though, andie actually doesn’t eat much meat, or at least doesn’t request it. if given to him, he’ll happily eat it.

love tuna steak and will eat most seafood.


vegetables
celery !! honestly like vegetables are pretty whatever to andie, but he doesn’t dislike them. besides mushrooms, more for their strange slimy texture than anything else, and corn, which just tastes odd. anything else he’s tried, he’ll eat without complaint !!


fruits
some days andie would rather spend his time with a pile of fruit than with actual people. he doesn’t love melons, although he’ll eat watermelon because its strange texture appeals to him (he thinks? he can’t really decide if it’s good or bad, but it’s interesting enough to keep him hooked). practically anything else though, he’d take over a lot of other foods !! he especially loves apples, sweet ones in particular.


dairy
he actually has mild dairy allergies, so he steers away. unfortunately, he has a thing for milk, and it’s not unusual for him to have a small glass- he’s fine, if it isn’t much. typically he’ll just drink almond milk as a replacement, but it’s never quite the same.

he’s never been a huge cheese guy at least.


junk food
addict. andie hates vending machines and those stupid snack aisles near the cash register of every store because he can’t help but pick something up. he likes pretzels a lot. most common snacks he’s pretty cool with. pringles are a fan favorite; other chips are good too, but he seems to pick fights with ‘em- probably because they’re not pringles.

an androgynous kal with a liking for oversized jackets and tight(ish) pants.

people sometimes have to second glance, because they aren’t quite sure if andie is male or female just from a glimpse. on closer inspection, most are able to make the distinction, although it’s been proven that if andie wears more feminine clothes, people are more likely to think he’s a chick.

and then he opens his mouth and his voice totally tips them off.

andie has yet to make up his mind over what career he wants. sometimes he thinks he’ll end up working retail (as he does now) for the rest of his life, but otherwise he’s optimistic he’ll be able to nab a job he’ll enjoy.

he’s considering acting, although he’s not sure if that quite fits him.
fashion is an enticing industry, but he doesn’t think he has the eye for it.
he enjoys wielding a camera, so photography is high on his list.
otherwise he's totally lost and has nO idea what he's doing but like heck gotta keep on rollin
