"E-Evelyn... I'm a mess..." Sage softly spoke, sadness echoing off her voice as she almost silently cried.
Evelyn pulled her red-headed lover up to her chest, softly kissing the top of her head in an comforting way.
"Hush, hush, if you're any kind of mess, you're my mess and mine only." hearing a small chuckle come from
her lover, Eve knew Sage had, at least some-what, cheered up. "That's a good thing, because I don't want
to be anyone else's." Sage still hadn't smiled, so Evelyn had to take it a step further. "Just because we broke
up once, doesn't mean you're a screw-up. You were scared and helpless. I mean, how can I blame you? You
are dating me after all." The brunette felt her red-head girlfriend smile against her chest, laughing this
time, instead of chuckling under her breath. "I love you too, you complete idiot." The girl raises her head
up and kisses Evelyn's jawline. "Looks like I'm not the only mess here, huh?" It was Evelyn's turn to chuckle,
her brown eyes glistening. "I guess so, baby, I did tell you that you weren't alone, didn't I?" Shrugging Sage
still has that little grin on her face. "I guess so, anyways, I'm hella hungry. You wanna go somewhere to
eat?" Swinging her legs over the bed and jumping up, Evelyn's hair sways at her side. "I thought that you
would never ask!" She declares dramatically. "Where do you want to go to eat?" Sage's eyes darken again,
for no reason what-so-ever. "Actually... I don't know..." The pause she takes makes the atmosphere less
lighter than it was. "I don't want them to catch us dating again, you know what the school will do if they
catch any 'homosexuality' between us. They'll kick us out, and then we can't be the Wildlife Biologists who
are partners in crime." Evelyn climbs back on the bed, sitting on her knees. "Baby, we're going to be what
we want to be in life, even if those jerks will try to stop us. Hell, we still got our second dream behind us!
We make up to 5,000 dollars every two weeks on deviant art!" Sage looks up from the surface of the bed,
her emerald green eyes meeting Evelyn's chocolate brown ones. "I guess you're right, but we both would
still be absolutely crushed." Sage is pulled closer to her lover once again, receiving yet another kiss on
the top of her head. "Sure we will, but not only would we be able to be together and stay together, still
being able to do something we love, and making a good amount out of it, we can get engaged before we
graduate, now what do you say about that?" Shocking Evelyn, and almost making her jump, Sage wraps
her arms around her girlfriend's waist, smiling once again, yet this smile was brighter and larger. "Damn.
You really do know how to cheer somebody up, don't you?" The brunette laughs loudly and audibly at the
red head's statement. "I guess I do, huh? Well, now that we're all happy and crap like that, do you still
want to go out to eat? We can just say we're only being friends, or best friends, or just roommates or
something along those lines which are obviously not true, yet their too stupid to know it." Sage lifts her
head up from Eve's chest and softly connects their lips together for a short, simple, yet refreshing kiss.
"Hells yeah I do!" She practically flies off of the bed, running to find her shoes. "Come on! Let's go to
In and Out!" Evelyn laughs loudly and jumps after her, slipping her shoes one as quick as possible. "Okay!
Okay! I'm coming, I'm coming! Wait up you idiot!"
