ever since he was young, malachi has been fascinated with rapping.
he would listen to all kinds of rap and hip-hop music 24/7; that's
when he decided he wanted to become a rapper. he practiced daily,
gaining a pretty fast tongue, and finally became an underground
rapper after a few years. malachi is known mostly for his incredible
free styling, and particularly fast raps. he can think up lyrics in the
blink of an eye, which has made him hard to beat in battles. rapping
is not all malachi is known for, however. the young kalon eventually
took up dancing after he attended a few of his friend's dance comps,
and decided he wanted to learn how to do it as well. he is the type
to participate in as many dance competitions he can so that he is
always improving. he has met a few friends through his hobbies,
and really enjoys being around people who share his charisma.

malachi is a narcoleptic kalon who, despite having
a quick tongue and dark appearance, is actually a
really soft and gentle guy. he doesn't particularly
enjoy hearing out anyone else's opinions, as he
thinks he's always right, but he is still extremely
kind toward his friends and others. malachi is also
a huge scaredy-cat; he refuses to walk home alone
at night, and jumps at the slightest sounds. this
unfortunately doesn't mix very well with his
narcolepsy. malachi spends the majority of his time
at clubs, where it's loud, or dancing with his friends
to stay energized and avoid falling asleep.

sanghyun [owned by me]
malachi and sanghyun have been friends for as long as they can remember.
he was the 'weird' kid that nobody would talk to, so she felt bad for the poor
boy and became friends with him. they would spend almost all of their time
together as kids, until sanghyun decided to take up dancing. because of this,
the only way that they could spend time together was if malachi attended
some of her dance activities; which is how he got into the hobby.

malachi met yuelai at a street dance competition near the beginning of his
dancing career. yuelai, who had much more experience in the field than
malachi, began 'tutoring' the young kalon, and teaching him everything he
knew about street dancing. malachi has improved immensely with yuelai's
help, and now competes confidently in all sorts of underground dance
competitions. he still gladly accepts pointers from yuelai, however.

lafayette [owned by hinoka]
malachi and lafayette are friends from high school. malachi will usually
force the other boy to play his guitar and sing with him while he raps, and
the two have actually written a few songs together; not that anyone except
for close friends has actually heard them. even though lafayette is a huge
fanboy, and malachi a scaredy cat, the duo try their hardest to be super
'edgy and cool.' however, they usually just end up laughing in the end.

in the beginning, things were hard for malachi as he was diagnosed
with narcolepsy at a young age, which meant that if he was in
surroundings that were too relaxing, he would fall asleep instantly.
throughout most of his school life, he was made fun of for falling
asleep during class; but he couldn't help it, class was just so boring.
the teacher's monotone voice, and the quiet periods when the students
would work independently were too calm and quiet, so his narcolepsy
would kick in and he'd be out like a light.

in a bid to keep himself energized, malachi joined multiple sports teams.
even though he absolutely hated sports, he continued to do them anyway,
as it was the only way he could stay awake during the day.

he had a passion for writing poems because it expressed his
emotions very well. although, malachi never had the gut to
share them with others because it always became awkward.
during his second year, when he discovered hip-hop music,
he realized thathe could transform his poems into music,
making it much easier for him to express himself. his passion
for rapping soon grew, as it allowed him to express his
feelings in such a way that was more interesting to the rest
of the students at his school.

malachi started to gain a reputation among the student body
as his skill grew. he was always given a spot to perform in all
of their school concerts, and students would also come up to
him in the halls just to ask him to rap for them briefly. by his
senior year in high school, he was known almost school
district-wide for his fast tongue and quick wits. he would get
challenged to rap battles by students all over, and always had
no problems winning. that year, he decided to expand his
horizons a little more, and hopes to one day become famous.
