#514 Tryout

This is my entry for kalon #514.

Emma currently works as an artist. Not as a normal artist though, she does caricature art. It may sound confusing to those who are not familiar with the art form but in reality it isn't confusing at all. It's simply the exaggeration of facial features. For example, if the person Emma is drawing has large eyes or a small nose, she will illustrate them bigger or larger then they were before. Many people get laughs from the outcome of each drawing and Emma enjoys seeing their reactions of shock or awe. She often gets a good laugh out of their reactions which is the favorite part of her job. Emma gets hired by people throwing parties or even at weddings.

Emma is quite the sweetheart. She is every polite and easy to talk to aswell as outgoing. She has learned to be this way because of her job. She used to be shy but as more kalons approached her, the more socially confident she got. It's quite easy to become her friend. You just have to approach her politely and strike up a conversation with her. Emma doesn't really feel as if things are akward that much so randomly talking about something personal is totally natural with her. When people find out about this quirky kalons job, most of the time they ask when she does them and where. Normally she'll say, "Let's exchange phone numbers, I'll let you know when I'm doing them." Eventully, she'll call them up and tell them when and where she's doing the drawings and half of the time they'll show up. Later on, she hopes to be friends with all these wonderful people. If kalons do become friends with her, they can trust her with anything because she would literally die for them.

Emma, having a quite friendly and outgoing personality, makes friends quite easily. Having thick fur can be a problem during summer. Despite living in Canada, a place which has normally freezing winters, the summers get unbearably hot. To cool off, Emma usually goes to the beach to take a nice swim in the nearby lakes or she just stays inside with her air conditioning on. Despite her job being a low paying job, she has enough money to get around. Emma often brings her stuff from work to the beach so she can make a few quick bucks on a very crowded day. As a kid, Emma went to the beach every other day of the summer. She eventually learned how to body surf on the waves and found out how much fun it is. Sooner or ,after when she has enough money, she wants to create some classes on how to body surf as it is just as much fun as surfing.
