ＯＮＣＥ ＵＰＯＮ Ａ ＴＩＭＥ，

there lived a single father with his young daughter. the man was a lepidopterist, a person who studies butterflies and moths. he earned little pay and couldn't afford a nice house to live in, nice clothes to wear, or good food to eat. but he wouldn't let his daughter see how poor they were. she was his whole world, and he spent every last spare buck he could on her. she could never be spoiled with the little he had to spoil her with, she could only be well loved. when she'd been younger than she already had been, she'd loved chasing butterflies with him and her late mother. he'd known that she'd follow his footsteps to become a lepidopterist, and he couldn't wait to teach her everything he knew. sadly, he never got the chance, because at a early age she was diagnosed with lots of health problems, the same ones that had taken her mother. all he could do was watch as both of their worlds fell apart. but he knew there was one thing that'd make her smile. dolls. she'd always loved dolls, almost as much as butterflies. so he would spend all his money on dolls for her. at that time, a new line of butterfly/moth-inspired dolls had come out, with levi being one of them. he'd gotten them for her, and she loved them. but she loved levi the most. he brought her the biggest smile.

alas, only a couple of years later, she had passed away. her father was heartbroken, even though he knew it had been coming. he sold most of her things, but he held on to levi. he missed the big smile he used to give her. and that's how inkpot came to be - she came to be from his yearning of his lost little girl's smile. feeling close to levi, they agreed to help each other. but levi never be the same. he missed his girl just as much as her father.

and that's how levi and inkpot came to be.
