Kiara smiled up at the sky, feeling the beautiful night breeze flow into her hair. The brunette began dangling her legs over the side of the roof, her arms holding the back of back. Kiara missed the breeze of the beautiful night and the mysteries of the stars. Oscar hadn't talked to her in months now and things were trying to bring her spirits down even more. Maybe this was for the best, maybe staying away from him was best for the both of them. Kiara never believed in miracles, but she felt that Oscar had been a miracle to her. She never had any friends in school and Oscar was the only one who was actually interested in her. The steampunk mechanic looked up at the stars, watching them as they smiled down at her. The only thing that could keep her sane this week was making more creations on her own and star-gazing. Her mother used to lay out on the roof with her when she was young and they both star-gazed for hours. Sometimes she feels that she can still hear her mother speaking to her, but not through words. She can hear her mother speak through actions, through certain moments in her life, through memories sometimes. Kiara didn't understand what her mother was trying to do for her life, but she knew it was in good intentions. The brunette mechanic sighed softly before getting up and walking back to her room window.
