Here is a short poem, I'd love advice and comments.
The Cry of the Monarch
Brush of wings,
Side by side,
Carried by our very wingbeat,
Ancient tradition set deep.
Monarch colors
Orange and black and white,
Settle down as our numbers fly in.
Roosting in the Oyamel fir forests,
We cluster in our clouds.
Our famed migration
Is a joy to many
Yet how long
Will it last
If we cannot find
The forests of our sleep,
Or the milkweed of our birth?

hi!
my favorite word is petrichor!! It means the smell of the earth after rain, particularly when it falls after a dry period, and comes from the Greek words "petra" for rock and "ichor" for blood.
