Nishiki is a sassy little (actually big but shh) thing. He is super arrogant and likes to gloat about himself all the time despite the fact that this lil' guy is a mute. (he speaks in sign language and sometimes Kimi translates for him).

Nishiki is very self conscious and tries his hardest to look good 24/7. If even one hair is out of place he freaks out. Don't point out his body hair either! He's very sensitive about it and finds it gross.

Nishiki is a very naive doll. He believes anything he hears. No. Matter. How. Silly. It. May. Sound. Nishiki isn't dumb though; just...trusting. Nishiki treats his friends like royalty. Even though he likes to make it seem like he's on top and !!!better!!!than!!!you!!!, he really cares more about his friends than himself. He seems himself as the "pack leader" and he has to protect them. Nishiki is very protective over his friends. Nishiki, despite trying to protect his friends all the time, is very skittish and doesn't do a good job at really "protecting".

He can feel really confident one minute then really shy the next. Whenever he is confident he can flirt, do things he otherwise couldn't do, and isn't as skittish. When he is shy, he jumps at everything and feels everyone is out
to get him.

Kimi, in many ways, it just a smol child. Because she is just a pup, her voice is very childish and her ways of acting are just the same. Just like a human child, Kimi is very needy and whiny. She tries her hardest to be noticed by everyone and constantly tries hard to make everyone like her. It usually fails, Kimi either making a mess or being a huge nuisance.

Kimi is very clingy and protective towards Nishiki. It's because when she was younger than she is now, Nishiki found her in the woods. Taking pity on her, Nishiki took her in. Ever since she has been stuck to him like a cheap suit.

Kimi is very loving and loves to curl up on Nishiki's lap. She must be pet constantly and given 24/7 attention or else she will feel lonely and sad.

Kimi is also very optimistic and happy-go-lucky. She always sees the bright side of things even on the rainiest of days. Whenever Nishiki is upset about something, she would list the things that are good about the day. If it doesn't work, she would just cuddle up to him and let him sob into her fur.

Leon Xiao

The two actually make good company. Leon doesn't really mind that Nishiki doesn't talk, seeing as he is a quiet doll himself, and Nishiki just enjoys his company. The two often come together to have tea (to which Kimi will try to sit with them, only to have Leon's doll pull her off to put on dresses).

Although Leon is very sarcastic and sassy, Nishiki can keep up. If Leon is snarky to Nishiki, Nishiki will be snarky to Leon. Neither of them get offended by it and actually find it quite funny. Even funnier since Kimi is the one who translates for him, so his insults sound like a little squeaky wolf.

Mama Bear

Kimi doesn't really like Mama Bear. But, since their dolls are friends and often together, she is forced to hang out with Mama Bear. Mama Bear always wants to put Kimi into dresses as previously mentioned. They like to brush Kimi's fur and do girly little things with them. Kimi doesn't like this however, and would much rather sleep on Mama Bear's lap; their lap is very warm surprisingly and the apron is SUPER SOFT.

Mama Bear is very motherly by nature, so whenever they are with the adventurous and rambunctious Kimi, they will stop them and scold them for "scaring your poor mother". They would then squeeze Kimi into an //cough//unwanted//cough// hug.

In short, Mama Bear is fond of Kimi, but Kimi is NOT fond of Mama Bear.

Kimi was created by silver bullets. The silver bullets were actually, believe it or not, shot by Nishiki. The way Nishiki was created was the silver bullets. The silver bullets were actually his first shadows who formed into another; Kimi. The silver bullets were shot at a lone werewolf that Nishiki was hunting. He missed obviously, but had lost his shadow. Frightened, Nishiki looked and looked for his beloved shadow, but could not find them. He was forced to leave without them and vowed he would come back in the morning when it was light.

When Nishiki came back, it turns out he DID hit something with his bullets. But, not a werewolf. They had his a patch of young wolf fur, which created Kimi. The only reason he had taken pity onto Kimi was because he noticed the silver glint of his bullets in her mouth. They were her teeth, his previous shadow, that had made another.

Nishiki took Kimi in, deeming her his new shadow.

Nishiki, before joining the Dollhouse with everyone else, was a werewolf hunter. This was also before he found out he was a werewolf. Him and Kimi would often go out of full moons and hunt for werewolves. When Nishiki found out he was a werewolf (at age 19), he had to retire from his "job" due to reasons Kimi had brought up.

The duo was actually well known for taking jobs given to them by others who had a werewolf that needed to be taken care of. As a way of ensuring that the werewolf they were ordered to get rid of was gone, the two would take their teeth to their commissioner.

This is where Nishiki's fascination for werewolf teeth first formed. He would sometimes keep some of the teeth and soon enough a large collection formed. Kimi always found it gruesome, but Nishiki thought it was fascinating. Who wouldn't be fascinated? I mean, the different sizes, colors, maybe even some cracks and holes in some. It's cool, okay???
