I don't wanna be alone - Although she's been alone for most her life,
and she herself refuses to admit it, Life in her world can get quite lonely.
Her job can be extremely overwhelming at times,
sometimes so strong it causes her to cry,
even. It isn't very often, but even the strongest can
need a shoulder to cry on every now and then.
She doesn't like to admit her emotions, however.
There's hope in all of us
I stand alone - Akala is the type to never admit when she needs help from others,
Often pretending everything is fine, however, on the inside she's screaming. And noone can hear
I will survive - Despite being thrown the bad side of pretty much everything, Akala's persistent nature and strong will tends to keep her focused on surviving life, no matter how complicated it may be. Between her tragic backstory, and limitless tragedy. she doesn't find it within herself to look to the bright side often, but in those few moments that she does, it's enough strength to keep her going for as long as she may need be. Never stop fighting for what you believe
The tales aren't true - Despite the folklore behind her, nothing of such happened. In the reality of things, Akala was chosed by a seer, Known to the mortals as cricket, but to others, Agaeal; in her spirit form. The relationship between akala and her family is often strained by the distance she must keep to avoid corruption of her family, however they stick together strongly, proving how strong they are, as one.
Don't push me! - Akala like others in the current world, tends to get angry very quickly, known to lash out at certain things other people would find small matters. Her temper is unknown in her family, and no one knows where it came from. Some think it's the stress of being the keeper, that causes her anger issues and bipolar mood swings, however, some think it comes from a darkness within her

There is worse to come for you - Some tend to believe that being mentored by a seer gave Akala a limited access to see into the future of those she comes in contact with. No one remembers ever encountering the power, or witnessing it being used. Can she erase their memories from the incident, or is it all another folk tale?
Trouble follows me... literally - Akala, no matter the situation, always tends to find herself in the most absurd troubling situations; wether it be getting stuck somewhere, or anything up to as serious as a death risk. She often avoids people she deems weak, to avoid hurting them when she puts distance between the them. She's not the type to have many friends, and feels just find without a large group to talk or come to.
I'm in the business of misery - Akala is often a ‘wet blanket’ for lack of a better term, always looking to the downside of things, and very rarely seeing the bright side at all. She isn’t a very… emotional figure, regardless, and most seem to take the silence as unhappiness; when in reality, she’s just indifferent, looking upon the world with no emotion as to avoid letting on her feelings to the outside world. Emotion is seen as a weakness, one that the spirits could feed on with ease, if given the chance.
Do not fear, love - The folklore of the keeper depicts a fearless being with no emotion, no heart, no soul. Why do you think they know nothing, after all? Only one of those things is true; Akala is incapable of fear. No matter the situation, no matter the danger… She’s seemingly indifferent. Fear is a weakness; something a keeper mustn’t dwell on, if they are to succeed.
You don’t know the real me - The statement is nothing but true. Akala’s backstory, upbringing, and almost everything about her is hidden under a carefully constructed mask, blocking anyone from seeing the real person behind it. Until it comes to her family, that is. They are the only people living that get to see her at her highs, lows, and.. well emotion in general. She couldn’t hide things from them if she tried, and they always tend to know how and when to break through that mask and tackle the conflict beneath it until Akala can hold herself together again, the dement of the demons cleansed.
You dont control me - Akala, although mentored and watched over, refuses to take orders from anyone, and is her own boss, so to speak. Her challenging and natural leadership instincts keep her from listening to anyone really, and often ignores, or even lashes out at commands from people other than her closest family. Never has talk been overheard of akala being replaced anytime soon over the fact, and she doesn’t plan on resigning.
Troublesome world - As akala has the ability to merge into the otherworld, she also has the skill to create her own, temporary spirit world, the way she wants it. When the spirits, or life itself becomes too much for her, she’ll do this to run from her conflicts, and show weakness on her own, noone to witness her break apart, before she’s able to piece herself back together. Sometimes she goes for a run on a never-ending horizon, sometimes she sits under a willow tree and sobs, sometimes she lays on a warm rock and thinks, and other times, she simply stares at how beautiful the world can be, all the while it is falling apart a step behind her, and the only way to survive is to keep running.

“Come on, Kala” Akira spoke softly, nosing my cheek gently as I lowered my head.
“I’m… Fine, Kira” I said finally, the lie falling off my tongue almost as sour as the expression on her face.
“No. Your not. Talk to me” She demanded, situating herself beside me so that we were laying side by side.
“It’s just… stress. The spirits are restless, halloween is approaching, and I’m not sure if I have the strength to control them. If… If I fail, it’s the end. And knowing I would be responsible…. It plagues my every waking thought, and I can’t…. I’m - “ A lone tear ran down my face as she tucked her chin under mine, consoling me as my insides began to churn.
“You’ve been thorough what… 6, 7? of these? Akala, your the strongest person I’ve ever met, and if anyone can do it, It would be you. I have all faith in you, and you should as well.. Being a keeper is far from easy, that much you’ve shown, but you’ve coped this long, you can’t fall apart now. I wont let you. The only way to succeed is to keep striving for that brighter side, and don’t let the light escape you” She gave me a stern look, daring me to protest, to which I chuckled slightly.
“I swear, you and your words get to me every time” I said, tucking her head under my maw as she laughed.
“What kind of twin would I be if I didn’t shove words of sense down your throat, after all?” She said, and we both dissolved into laughter.
“Lets go guys!” I called, laughing slightly as my mother nearly fell over her own paws at the sight of me standing in the doorway our home.
“A-Akala!” She barked happily, quickly padding over to me and tucking my head under hers in a hug-sorta way before licking my cheek affectionately I chuckled as my father came in, hugging me as well, and finally, Akira, as we all hugged it out, not wanting to let each other go for a second..
“I missed you guys” I said softly as we seperated, now all sitting in a circle in the livingroom as my mother and father held a secretive glance between one-another.
“so your birthday is tomorrow… and we know how much you hate gifts, but… I think you’ll like this one” My mother spoke first, pushing a small, silver embossed; antique wooden box forward. There was a simple skeleton key-hole, as I glaced up towards them in confusion.
“we had your seer help us secure it, and everything. Your first gate-key is the only thing that opens the box” My father was now the one to explain as I turned my glance towards his happy expression.
“okay…. One moment” I smiled slightly, before clearing my mind and summoning my keys from my spirit form. I could feel the thread evaporate from the gate, as they melded with my soul, and appeared on my body with a shimmering light. I took my first key, a simple barren one, and stuck it into the key-hole, gently turning until it opened with a small click. Inside the box, surrounded in blood red silk was another key. This one small,, it’s aurora glowing a bright blue; My aurora. I gently reached out with my mind, probing the key, and gasping when it responded, melding into my aurora, before the key was enveloped within a bright light. When it faded a small wolf lay there, it’s black fur catching my eye before anything else, the small, glowing blue rune on its shoulderblade signifying it as a spiritae bonded to my aurora.
“This is…. amazing. I have no words” I spoke up, Tears of joy coming to my eyes as the wolf looked up at me.
“I’ll call him Osirus” I decided, hugging them all as Osirus melded into a new key, this one hidden within the folds of my fur, ready to be called upon when needed.
“What should we do today, guys?” Korotasu asked his family, all four of his immediate gathered into the living room. My spiritae sat at my paws, wagging his tail slightly as he looked around the room. He had grown insanely fast as soon as the bond between us was completed, himself now being nearly larger than a great dane, definitely the largest wolf, or spiritae alike I had ever seen. “Um…. How about a run, first?” Akemi suggested, smiling gently at me and my twin. I nodded vigorously, feeling the cramping of my muscles in anticipation of the action they received when I ran. “Sounds good to me!” Kira and I said in unison, both of us turning to each other and laughing as the family stood, and one by one, filed out the front door and into the surrounding forest. “I’ll race you to the lake!” I sung, racing past my family as they huffed, finding my headstart, and my training an advantage against them. “no… fair….Akala!” My sister huffed, causing me to chuckle as she looked slightly out of breath, trying to run and talk at the same time. I pushed onward, the lake coming into view as I smiled, reaching the shore and coming to such a hard stop a few rocks were rolled into the water, shattering the smooth, reflective surface and causing ripples. “Beating us, as always, you do” My mother laughed, puffing her cheeks slightly. Turning my nose into the air, I caught a wiff of another scent; one I recognized in particular. I waited until the scent was strongest before turning abruptly, laughing as venus jumped a foot or two in the air in shock, his breath coming in short pants from the adreniline rush. “Next time you try to sneak up on a keeper, stay downwind” I teased, pushing into his shoulder as we both stood side by side, now looking at my family again. It was silent, all of us with narrowed eyes waiting for the others to make the first move. “LAST ONE TO THE WATER LOOSES!” My father suddenly yelled, surprising all of us as he ran, leaping over us and into the water, again disrupting its surface. I leaped in after him, me being soon followed by venus, then my sister, leaving Akemi last, standing on the shore with a pout. “Darn kids and their energy” she muttered under her breath, me seemingly the only to to be able to hear it as she threw herself into the water, splashing us all in the process. I laughed as I splashed a large pawful of the frigid water onto venus, his face causing me to laugh harder as his eyes narrowed, before he splashed back. The small action quickly enveloping us both in a water fight. After the scuffle, and a rather fun period of swimming we all decided to dry off in the sun as it sunk over the horizon, before we ran as a pack tonight. As the last rays of sunlight faded, making way for the full moon, we all prepared. I lifted my maw to the sky, letting a dominant howl as within moments, those around me joined in the call, my voice being the one to start the chorus, I controlled the fall as I slowly let my throat close, and the howl fade until it was silent around us again. “I love you guys” I smiled, before we took off, my father in lead with my mother by his side. I took my fathers left flank, while akemi took our mothers right; and venus following up by my side. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this exhilarated.
