- hello! I'm jordan, call me J. I'm trying out for Keetin 107, and decided to make a story about how him and Aye met.
The sun was setting, a beautiful hue of pink, purple, and orange filling the sky. This was a perfect time to head out to the sea and find some more little creatures for my aquarium. I ran along the shore of the sea, water flinging up and sinking into my fur. I heard a scream of horror and instantly stopped in my path. My navy blue optics analyzed my surroundings until my eyes stopped on a brown keetin standing by a fire with a chef hat on. He was patterned similar to a tabby. His jaws were wide apart, and I soon realized thats where the screaming was coming from. His paw was extended forward, pointing towards the shore. I inched a little closer then turned my head in the direction he was looking at, soon realizing that a sea spider had washed up on the land. "U-u-u-uhm.. s-sir?" I walked up to the keetin, my cheeks already flushing pink. "A-are you freaking out.. about that spider?" Another scream of horror escaped the Keetin as soon as I said the word spider, he nodded, unable to speak. I turned and ran over to the bank, picking up the sea spider in my jaws gently, wading out into the sea. I took a deep breath and dove my head into the water, dropping the sea spider onto the floor of the ocean. I watched the spider scurry away before I turned around and ran out of the water towards Aye. He had finally stopped screaming, which confirmed that the spider was what triggered his screaming. I felt proud, but I couldn't control my shuttering as I spoke. "H-h-h-hey.. W-who are you?" Aye looked over at me and gave me a smile, taking his chef hat. "Bonjour! I'm Aye. Thank you for getting rid of that spider.." He shivered, shaking his head. "Spiders are just so s-scary.." I looked at Aye and smiled. "O-oh.. w-well I guess.. we all have d-different fears. But.. animals are so a-amazing.. I won't question it." I let out an awkward laugh and looked at Aye. He smiled at me and spoke softly. "Well, whats your name? I already told you mine~" I let out a sigh and spoke quietly. "I-i-i'm.. Cetus. You can call me Cet.."
I cringed, expecting Aye to laugh at my name, but he instead put his paw on my head, laughing. "Nice to meet you Cetus! Relax though buddy, you seem awful tense! Come on, lets go enjoy this meal I made." Aye turned and walked a couple feet ahead back to his fire and I followed, realizing that maybe I could make friends. Aye made me happy.
