This is a Prequel to my roleplay, Here.

After many peaceful moons in the new forest, the four clans decided it was time to welcome SkyClan back into the home, and they sent eight warriors: Whispclaw and Riftheart from ThunderClan, Flamepool and Vineclaw from ShadowClan, Dawncloud and Talonheart from WindClan, and Pebbledrift and Mountainclaw from RiverClan. SkyClan came willingly but cautiously, and ONLY under the command of Branchstar. But SkyClan's ancestors did not come that easily, and were still unbelieving of the apology from the four leaders at the time.

After lots of begging, they finally gave in. But by the end of the journey, the once-kind Whispclaw became bossy and rude, proclaiming himself the leader of ThunderClan and Rifhtheart the deputy, although they already had a leader.

However, it was StarClan's will that the four leaders came to join them in the four moons. Seeing this, the Clans were outraged that they not only took the leaders, but also the deputies. It was also StarClan's will that they moved the forest, which was becoming very prey-poor. So StarClan told them this in a prophecy;

Two Clans will Join Forces and one Will Come to Forgive.

After twelve moons of preparation, the cats set off into the unknowing forest, with no Leader nor deputy. The weather was cold and rainy, and the caves they slept in were cold and sad. But they still trudged on, and the clans worked together. During the journey, many cats said that their clans were old, and should have a new name for what they've been through. But the Medicine cats argued, saying that first the five clans must fulfil the path StarClan had load out for them. Many cats died on the journey - ThunderClan mourned the loss of Riftheart and RiverClan the loss of Peppledrift. They padded on for countless days, until they decided to change the clan's names. Angered, the Medicine Cats left the clan, but not before a thunderstorm occurred. The lightning lit up the sky, which was reflected in a river. "ThunderClan, you must join with RiverClan." The medicine cats warned, but as usual, no cat noticed, nor did they notice when the medicine cats slipped away.

Well, two cats noticed. Their names? Fadedpelt and Dawncloud. Seeing sense, they ran after the cats, but were helpless in getting the medicine cats to stay. Admitting defeat, they started to trudge back to their Clan, but Dawncloud stopped, and turned to face Fadedpelt. "Lets explore!" she whispered, and they ran off. They came to a long lake, and stood there admiring the beauty, until Lakepaw, young RiverClan apprentice, padded up to them, interrupting the silence. "Is ThunderClan going to live here?" he asked, and Fadedpelt looked at him. "No. Well, I'll ask Whispstar. The black she-cat had demanded they appoint a new leader - and She had decided she was the right choice."But Caveheart said we'd be living with RiverClan." Caveheart was the old medicine cat of ThunderClan. Lakepaw looked into Fadedpelt's amber eyes. "Can we go in?" he asked, and Fadedpelt looked at Dawncloud, who nodded. Together, they stepped into the cave. It had a pool of water int the middle, and there was a steady trickle of water keeping it filled. "See, this is what would be the Warriors den. It's perfect." they stepped back out into the moonlight, and Lakepaw's eyes widened. "Look at that hole! A cat could fit in there." he pointed his grey-blue tail toward a tree. "And that branch could be for the leader to stand on, like the High Rock!" Fadedpelt smiled at the apprentice's enthusiasm. "See there, the cave with the water running through the entrance? That would be the nursery. Then the kits would be safe." Lakepaw was entranced by the splendour of the caves and trees. "It really is perfect. I'm sorry I won't be sharing it with ThunderClan." He mewed, and Dawncloudh laughed. "Lets go see Whispclaw." In Dawncloud's eyes, Whispclaw wasn't fit to be leader.

Whispstar would hear nothing of it. "I'll decide where my clan will stay. NOT a puny warrior, a fishy apprentice and an elder." she looked meaningfully at Dawncloud. But before she could say anything more, ShadowClan let out a ferocious battle cry, and Whispclaw puffed out her chest. "ThistleClan, Attack!" she yowled. The cats charged forward. Fadedpelt looked up disbelievingly. "ThistleClan? Really, Whispstar?" he meowed angrily. "We are ThunderClan." He narrowed his eyes and charged into battle. "THUNDERclan, Fight!" he yowled at Whispstar. She took no notice. Chasing a grey she-cat he didn't know the name of, he leapt on to her strong, powerful shoulders, biting down hard on her ear. The cat turned around. "Nobody messes with Moorfire!" she growled. Her eyes were dull and sad. "You don't want to fight, do you?" he asked. She shook her head, then nodded. He leapt off her back and made his way toward a juicy looking vole scuffling around. He stalked it, pounced on it and killed it swiftly with a powerful bite. Running to Moorfire, he dropped at her feet. "Spruce claw not feeding you?" he asked. Her ribs were showing and she was very tiny. Her grey fur was still fluffy. "How old are you...?" he asked. She looked at him. "F-Four moons." Angrily getting up, he ran to Spruceclaw, leaping on his back and biting him. "Kits... Shouldn't FIGHT!" he growled at Spruceclaw, who took no notice.

After the battle, Whispstar jumped onto a high rock. "Cats of ThistleClan..." he started, but Doepaw of RiverClan ran in front of her. "StarClan sent me a sign!" she yowled. "Cats of ThunderClan and RiverClan, I have seen who will be our leader... I think. A cat with a red pelt was fading - he stood in the moonlight under a star. He was sitting over river, and a cloud drifted over the star, however it was still shining brightly. It is time to change our name, and WE are now under the rule of our ancestors, CloudClan. StarClan has sent down Thunder and River. We are now ReedClan together, under the rule of..." she was interrupted by Whispstar, who said, "Thanks you, Star... Uh, CloudClan. I am happy to take the position..." but Doepaw shook her head. "Fadedstar, come forward. You will come and receive your nine lives in the..." she trailed off and he looked at her. "Thanks. But first I must say something. Lakepaw, please come forward.

"I, Fadedstar, leader of ReedClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. Hee has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Lakepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Lakepaw came forward nervously. "I- I do." Fadestar smiled. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Lakepaw, from this moment you will be known as Lakeheart. StarClan honors your courage and calmness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ReedClan." Lakeheart's eyes sparkled happily while the clan cheered his name. "and one more thing. Lightkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lightpaw. Your mentor will be Lakeheart. I hope he will pass down all he knows on to you."
"Lakeheart, you are more than ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Rainfrost, and you have shown yourself to be kind many times on the big journey. You will be the mentor of Lightpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." He took a deep breath. "I hope I'm doing this right. I say these words before CloudClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of ReedClan is Whispstar if she is willing to accept. You will travel with me tonight to receive my lives." he looked at Doepaw. "And CloudClan has made it's decision obvious. Doepeaw will be our medicine cat." the clan cheered, but Whispclaw stalked away angrily and Fadedstar looked after her.

"Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on she will be known as Whispcloud, for although you're no longer our leader, times change. Leaders used to be named after the clan in silverpelt, so I now name you Whispcloud in honour of your leadership skills." Eyes brimming with sympathy, he pads up to her. "Are you OK?" he asked and he sighs.

"I thought that CloudClan had abandoned us, but they haven't. And... I guess I wanted to be leader." she admitted. "I realise now that you were the right choice. I am not the cat I once was. But I am willing to change. Fadedstar, I really like you. In fact, would you... Be my mate...?" Fadedstar's eyes widened, and he nodded.

After Five Moons, Whispcloud was pregnant.

Whispcloud looked down on her kits. She had given birth to them the day before and they were tiring. Three of them! Whispcloud bring her ear over a black one's ear. He mewled ion protest and snuffled over to her stomach to wrestle for milk. "Black as Coal, free as an Eagle, good as a Dream." she murmured to herself. Fadedstar lay next to her and pricked his red ears. "Maybe we should name them that. Coalkit, Eaglekit, Dreamkit." he purred and Whispcloud nodded. "Perfect!" she meowed sleepily, yawning and closing her eyes.

Coalkit lashed his black tail. "I want to be the Leader! " he protested. Dreamkit shook his head. "MY turn!" she argued. Coalkit turned to Eaglekit. "You can be the rabbit." he said to his brother, who shook his head. "I need to go." he told them and padded into Doepelt's den. "Can I watch?" he asked and she nodded. Looking at some thyme, he recited what the herbs meant. "Thyme.. Shock.. Cobweb for Bleeding... Juniper for stomach-aches..." Doepelt looked at him in surprise and he looked squeamish. "I want to be a Medicine cat.." he admitted.
