"Don't get hurt!" Chansey's mother called. "Fine,"
the princess muttered. Why did she worry so much?
She could protect herself. Chansey sighed. Now, she had
to choose a animal compainion: she wanted to find a feline,
because those seem to be the easiest to train. Upon reaching the
woods, she looked around. "Fantastic," She muttered. All she could hear
was birds. Okay, that would do. Maybe a hawk? Padding quietly,
she marched over to a tall oak. Then.. cheeps. Small at first, then louder.
Looking up, she saw a chick. It was sitting in a abandoned nest, it's black
wings tucked at it's sides. "Awww.." Chansey whispered. She could take
it, but it looked so.. weak. Well, it would grow. She could teach it
while it grew. With a sigh, she reached up and plucked the ball of feathers
out of the nest. Smiling, she skipped back home, parading her new beauty.
"Dusk!" She announced. "His name is Dusk!"
