This is a Contest, Not a Normal Diary Entry!

Greetings, fellow parodigies, (Ha, ha, see what I did there? Parody + Prodigy = parodigy?) Do you want to put your humor writing skills to the test? Then this contest might be for you!

Each person who enters will randomly be assigned a scenario for which they have to compose a pet diary. There will be several rounds, and an entry must be written for every round. There will possibly a person eliminated every round (depending on how many you have). Every round will have a challenge for that round's entry, and every parody will be scored for how it uses that challenge. For those who get to the final round, they will have an entire diary written by the end of the contest. Those who won't can continue to write their diaries if they wish (even using the challenges for the following rounds.) The diaries of those already eliminated will not be scored (But I'll probably still read them! :D )

This is a new, separate diary from the one you already have. This is so you can do character development, get a fresh start, etc. Also, please do not use "This actually is a DIARY" or something like that because we want to stretch our imaginations. (Or something.)

Round One
The first entry of a pet diary is always sort of an introduction. Something along the lines of 'Hello, this is my name. I somehow ended up with a diary. This is my life. Sometimes the familyand friends are introduced. Sometimes the main character just says 'AWWWW MAAAAANNNN. You mean I have to WRITE in this thing?'

You parodigies are welcome to do any of the above and more with your introductions, but there's a catch. (Isn't there always a catch?) Your character can be any a species, age, gender, etc but they need to start out in the scenario that you've been assigned. (All were given out randomly thanks to www.random.org) Lucky for you, you can do anything for the first entry. But after this, you're getting scenarios!

- Please (pretty pretty please with a diary on top, for the sake of my convenience) post your entries here. If you're going to use a separate thread, please have the link to the contest within the first post. Also, please post a link to it here.
- Since this is a contest, just use your own idea, not something based on a show/book/movie. You can make small references to them though (Ex: Yesterday we were playing football. Right before the game, the coach said "May the odds be ever in your favor." He must love the Hunger Games.)

Ferra, My Sister. She also likes to carry things and she goes to a special school to learn about making dresses, art.. That sort of stuff. I am going to a new school.

New School? I just moved here. It was yesterday, and my room looks amazing. I would say its very pretty, but it is my style. A desktop, a neat purple bed, and a purple fluffy rug. As you could see, I love purple.

My name is Tiffany, Tiffany Lauders, though most dogs call me Tiff. I am currently 17, but my birthday is soon, so.. Yay! I guess...

That voice back there is Spirit-chan, a "good" stage 1 demonic spirit that has been following me and my friends lately. Btw, if you don't know what a demonic spirit is, It's a spirit that takes over a non-living object, mostly it's dead bodies and such. But this thing was born with a disease that only let's you take over something smaller than a wheel. Right now I believe he's a....

Anyway, that is me, tiny little sheep is Red, and the kitty is Oreo, surprisingly, Red is actually 4 years older than Oreo, but Oreo is kind of taller than Red... Seriously, look how tiny he is!

So my name is Pinku Kitsuna, you see that ghostly jacket I'm wearing there? Well, I wear it for a good reason. When I was 7, my brother beat me up, then my body split in half! The reason for this is because I have piñata life syndrome (PLS), which is a rare symptom, and I mean, very, very, very VERY rare, I mean, even more rarer than PPS! In fact, only one animal in nine million animals would be born with it! Anyway, it's basically like being a living piñata, you cannot really get injured, but parts of you could come off if someone is too rough with you, yeah we have normal body parts, but the stuff inside shifts up somewhere else in your body if a part DOES fall off and blah blah blah, you get the point, also, candy appears in thin air when that happens, and sadly, some animals abuse the ones who has PLS just for free candy, I mean, how cruel is that?

Anyway, back to the story on why I need the jacket. When my front side was separated from the backside, candy spilled everywhere, so to this day, I have to wear that jacket because it somehow keeps it together, and since the jacket is see through, you can see some candy I keep there, sometimes my backside (AKA Butt) slips away from the jacket, and the candy falls out, and it's pretty annoying having to pick them all up again! Luckily Red and Oreo help pick it up... Sometimes I let friends have some of the candy, yep, it stays fresh and never goes off, magic.

Yeah to sum it up: I'm a living piñata.

Anyway, -ahem- Sorry for that terribly long explanation about my problem, anyways, how I got you:

She put a pink book with pianos and pineapples on it and walked out, I noticed it had "DIARY" on it, I didn't want to disappoint mum so I decided to write in here...

My name is Khairul, and nothing more. Last names are for those who are not cats, but I am a proud feline - along with proud in general, or so says my family. I believe myself to be completely modest, a great friend, and a thoughtful philosopher.

Thus, I have absolutely no idea how one could think of me as 'arrogant'.

The school year has not yet started, a fact for which I am grateful. Not yet have I made my preparations, nor even read up on its rules and regulations as a good student should. It is not far from my home, I believe. Around a twenty-minute walk, or ten on bus.

Oh, yes, my home. I suppose I should discuss that too, lest I feel the need to remember in future. My house is quite decent - a large high-rise flat, overlooking many locations in the city. The park, for instance, and a canal not far from here. The latter, unfortunately, can only barely be seen through the thick foliage of trees.

That said, I suppose I shall now introduce my family. You may be a non-intelligent book who would not be able to process, let alone need, to know about them, but, ah... Never mind.


This is Fatin, my younger sister. As all children, she has not yet grasped the unfairness of life and is 'happy-go-lucky' as it is called.


This is Father. He has no distinguishing traits; just the run-of-the-mill locksmith.


... And this is Mother. She, like Father, is your average lady, working with him as a locksmith.

With that said and done, I now leave. Be warned; my sister has a tendency to steal things, amd may attempt to do so with this now. I do not leave my room guarded, incidentally. I once did, but she easily bypassed them, wasting the ten dollars I had spent on them. Ugh.

My brother is the most pretentious person I have ever met. He's the kind of person who apparently doesn't know what a 'contraction' is. Or, as Khairul would say, "he is the sort of individual who does not appear to be familiar with contractions."
