Jonathan’s biggest insecurity is his voice. No, not his speaking voice, but his singing voice. Jon loves to sing, but he prefers that his voice not be heard by others. Of course, every now and then he slips, revealing his voice to whoever happens to be nearby. Most of the bystanders don’t think much about it, because honestly Jon’s voice isn’t that bad. He takes this seriously though, and often fusses at himself for days after these slip-ups.

Though Jonathan often appears very confident in himself, only a small part of it is real. Because of his confidence issues, Jon has some pretty hefty social walls. These walls are effective in many ways but of course have a downside. The walls help keep Jon’s confident, seemingly happy self on the outside--what most people look at. On the downside of this, the emotional and caring part of him is locked away in a seemingly unreachable place.

Jonathan has some serious trust issues. There are very few plumerians who know much about him because of this. Jon’s trust issues can be traced back to a fear of rejection. He forces himself not to get too close to anyone just because he’s afraid that they will turn against him or not accept him for who he is.

Jon has a bit of an organization problem. Though he can find everything he needs perfectly fine, others might not say the same. But perhaps this is tactical? Jonathan keeps several different notebooks, all with an assortment of random things in them. Anything from school work to poetry to doodles can be found scattered throughout Jonathan’s personal notebooks. Jon doesn't let others look through his notebooks often, and that's usually because he's got something to hide. If you manage to get away with one of his notebooks without him knowing, look through it. Though some things may seem odd and confusing, there's treasures to be found within it's pages. Just have an open mind.

Jon is an avid gamer--playing games help him escape reality. One of the most common places to find him is near his computer or TV playing some of his old favorites. Jonathan’s interest in video games has led him to become an aspiring game designer. Playing video games is one of the rare times Jon does sing, as he often listens to music while playing.

✽ Ƭнɛ ℓιғɛ σғ α иσт sσ sɛcяɛт Ɖяyα∂ ✽
Though Jon spends a lot of his time inside playing video games, he really does love the outdoors. On nice days, Jon’s usually outside exploring the forest behind his home. His friends agree that he just has “a way with the woods.”

“It’s a calm place, up in the trees. I feel at home there. It’s one of the few places I can just sit back and relax. The trees are a good place to think… but that’s not always a good thing.”

Music is a big part of Jonathan's daily life. Although most of the time he doesn't sing along, Jon usually has a pair of headphones/earbuds in his ears. Unlike most people, he keeps the volume on low as to help him resist the urge to sing along. Jon always keeps up with the popular music, and often times knows about new music before anyone else. Pretty much all of the storage used up on his phone is from songs--of which he has over 300.

Rex (owned by chicaa) is Jon’s sarcastic best friend. Rex knows a lot about Jon and his feelings and his limits. Though Rex can be a little hurtful with his sarcastic comments, Jon tries his best to hide his feelings, and tends to get over them quickly. The two have been good friends since elementary school, and are often together in various activities.

Addilyn (owned by me) is a good friend of Jon’s who’s always trying to get his repressed feelings out of him. Jon doesn’t really like it when she does that, but it does help him. Jon’s emerald gem necklace is a gift from Addi for his birthday, and he is seldom found without it on. Addi and Jon grew up in the same neighborhood, so Addi has known Jon for possibly even longer than Rex.

Lyko (owned by Frost★) is Addilyn’s boyfriend and also another good friend of Jon’s. Lyko isn’t as close to Jon as Rex is, but he still considers him a good friend--one that he can trust, even if it’s just a little bit. Although they have an age difference of about three years, they still talk to each other frequently and have a lot in common

Nala (owned by ~Caramel~) is one of Lyko's many siblings. Jon doesn't get to see her much and usually the only time they get to spend a good while together is on days when Lyko invites him over to his house. When they do get to see each other it's all fun and games. Jonathan isn't usually the type that plays pranks on others, but when he's with Nala he kicks into 'revenge mode'. The two come up with some of the oddest--but often times the most effective--pranks you could ever imagine. It's probably best if you're not on either of their bad sides, because when they team up on you things can get pretty crazy.
