Ugh. That sounds so girly. I am kind of girly... But diary? Not that girly.
Our teacher said we have to record a diary throughout the year, and then in a couple of years we can look at it and... Um... Feel young again?
Anyways, if I am to write in this thing it needs a real name. It can be like I'm telling the book. Um, you. Sorry, I hope I didn't offend you there... So you need a name. But will you be male or female? Ugh, you can't! You're a book! Hmm... A non human name could apply to either gender... I like.. Hazelnut! Then it's not weird like a human name. Let's restart...

Dear Hazelnut,
My name is Rose Johnstone.

I like to look good – but only to fit in. I don't want to spend much time on my family – they're a stereotypical (and sometimes derpy and embarrassing) family. There's my sister. She's called Lily and she's not really annoying, she just sort of treats me like I'm not there. Which is usually annoying.

And my mum and dad... I probably shouldn't put their names but I will anyway. Mint

Yes, my dad's name is Teddy. I usually just tell people it's Ted or Bob or something though.

I guess I should start with what happened today, Hazelnut. I can vent to you, because we're friends, right? Ugh, I'm becoming a weirdo. Never mind. And no offence. So, let's start with my mega embarrassment in French. Why do we have to do French anyway? I might never even go there! It's basically Rose smackdown class.
So I was drawing a picture of my teacher as a troll when she said, “So Rose, what is 'the leaves look beautiful when they turn golden in Autumn' in French?” So I quickly whipped out my Ifur and typed it into Google translate. Here's what I got: Le congé belle allure quand ils se tournent d'or à l'automne.
How on Earth do you pronounce that?! So I said “Lie conga bell a lure grand ill see tournament door a Autumn.” And everyone laughed. The teacher's just like “ That makes no sense and you obviously haven't listened. Detention!”
I'm so underappreciated.
Well, Mum's calling for dinner so I guess I'll wrap it up now.

Dear Hazelnut,
I should be doing maths division problems but instead I'm writing this. I'll stick it in you later. Last night we had weird weather - thunder and lightening and hail. I was counting and the lightening was almost overhead! I don't get scared of lightening but I stayed away from the windows anyway. I was listening to Tail Swift's new song when Ted came in.
Ted: Rose, it's late. Go to bed.
Me: Not that late. Half an hour?
Ted: Fifteen minutes.
Me: Seriously?
Ted: Okay, fifteen minutes or when the hail stops.
Me: Hmm... *refreshes weather on Ifur homescreen*
Weather: Heavy hail.
Me: When the hail stops.
Ted~: Okay. *Leaves room*
Me: *Unpauses song*

30 Minutes Later...

Ted: Rose, go to bed.
Me: *Looks out of window* it's still hailing - Look at that, five centimeters!
Weather: Heavy hail.
Ted: Rose, it's almost 10:30 and there's school tomorrow, go to bed.

So I went to bed but I played my Ifur all night so I'm tired.

I just finished a maths test, so I'm writing here... Maybe I should check it... I'm sure it's fine.
I would be checking out PawTube but we weren't allowed phones because of the test...
I wouldn't use it to cheat!
Except maybe on the algebra

Anyway, for homework I need to do this whole page of algebra and division with decimals! I do numbers, but not two numbers mushed together with a full stop. I have better things to do... PawTube and cruising the grand Internet.

I'm thinking of dying my fur, maybe the populars will like me more? I'll ask Mint and Charlotte.

Charlotte is the best friend I could ever ask for. And she's beautiful, I have no idea why she's not popular. Oh, did I not mention that? She's a nerd at school
