Sam Johnson has to move from his home. His mother is now divorced with his father. He has to find a new best friend. Then he meets Casey Smith. All things will change when the accident happens.
I walk into a tall house. There is plenty of room. "Mom," I say. "Why did we have to move here? I lost all my friends." She looks at me. "Honey," She says. "I know it is hard for you." I sit down on the couch. "Can I go run outside?" I say. My mom shifts. "I guess," She says. "But be careful." I run outside. I lay in the tickle-ish grass. Why do I have to stay here? I thought. I guess I'll just have to run away. I grab all my most precious things, a picture of me and all my friends, some food in a sack, a pocket knife (Just in case), and a picture of me and my family. I decide to live at school. I see a small abandoned hut for me to live in. Good, I think. The perfect place to live. I set all my stuff down in the hut. It's small but it will do.
