Seraphiel, the leader of the seraphims.
Though she tends to go by Sera, Demi calls her Phi-Phi to annoy her.

Seraphiel, the angel, is known for creating the music of the spheres which is
a space in heaven. Also, the path that he guards is known as the "Star Path" ;
where a zillion rainbow molecules flow down to earth from the constellations.

I chose this name for multiple reason. They are listed below.

• Firstly, the name relates to her mother because it is also an angelic name.
• Secondly, it is related to music and stars which are her father's obsessions.
• And then ties into me because of my obsession with seraphim angels.

It's like Seraphiel's name made her who she is.

The small girl is lawful, not good or bad, just lawful. She is the type of person who
wishes the world was a set in stone. Everything is literal to her because that's the only
way she understands the world. And because the world isn't like Sera, she has always
felt misplaced, different.

Maybe its because she is.
There are steps in her mind, how she does things. Normally there is absolutely no way
around how she reacts unless something new, information wise, pops up and changes
the game. This makes her unyieldingly loyal, almost to a fault. Sera will do whatever
it is to protect things that she love, like her family mainly, because that is part of her
code of laws.

Thankfully though, it hasn't made her unhappy. Actually, Sera is seen as a well rounded
and mellow child. Her intelligence lets her figure things out before she reacts badly,
which means she has to be extremely observant. She acts as if she is years older than she
is, simply because of how she sees the world.

But as always there is downsides to being different.
For Sera its the lack of realizing that she is blunt, as she doesn't quite know how to word
things. Precision of language, that her real problem.. she believes everyone should have
it. But since they don't.. it tends to make for uncomfortable situations. Sera tries to
diffuse these situations by changing to what suits the people she is with, you could say
shes fickle in nature. The only people who know Sera, the true Sera, is her family.. and
thankfully they fully accept her.

Being unique is something this family is proud of.
Moonbow family cherishes Sera for being who she is...
And Sera would be lost without them all.

The relationship Asa has with Sera is more like a
mentor and student relationship. When Sera was young,
she would cling to Asariel... hiding behind her legs when
people came to their abode or come running when
something went bump in the night. But as she grew, they
started to have conversations that were rather deep for a
child. She was always asking her questions, and her mother
was always happy to answer her. Asa figured out that
somehow Sera was years above where she actually should be.
To this day Sera asks her mother about strings of things,
and they go to the forest to ask what this and that was. Their
bond is tight and something Sera will always cherish.

Unlike the relationship between Asa and Sera,
somehow Hato and her didn't mesh as well when
she was a small plumerian. When Hato talked to her,
it always seems like he was trying to get her involved
in his hobbies which was far from Sera's small mind,
But over the years, she learned to adjust and actually
became scarily like him. The thing that made their bond
strengthen was the music, though she didn't wish to
learn piano. Hato went out of his way to learn a little
cello and violin so that the two could play into the
night. Nowadays, when Sera hangs out with her dad,
they are often found playing unique songs.

Oh the relationship with Demiel and Sera is almost
comical. Seeing as Demi will pick on his sisters, Sera
learned to fight back rather fast. ‘Princess’; that is the
nickname Sera so lovingly gave her brother once during
a fight.” The two bicker, almost non-stop, but the one thing
that people tend to miss is the fact that Demi loves his
sister very much. He will defend her and she will defend
him. At the end of the day, they love each other completely
and forever. Only family can mess with family; that’s the
motto that describes these two.

Sisters; the bond between the two is one of the
strongest in the family. When they were growing up,
Sera noticed how Demi would make Sofi feel and this
made Sera step up. The very first moment Sera saw her
sister get very upset, she started to protect her sister..
fighting her battles and keeping Demi in check. The two
hang out outside, normally Sofi is wandering around
following the "fae" around while Sera will read the old
mythology books. The two just are generally found
together and the two always seem to be keeping each-other
out of trouble. Sisterly love at its finest.

Something about her uncle has always made Sera relax,
he was always so very happy to see her. Their bond has
always been special, since Sera always felt a bit out of
place.. but somehow Luka sees past it and tries to cheer
her up. The two spend a decent amount of time together,
seeing each other of weekends normally.

Kiku and Sera meeting was a fluke incident. Sera once
got lost in the city, but thankfully Kiku found her and
stayed with her all day until her parents arrived. During
that time Kiku showed her paper umbrellas and even
got her ramen. Kiku showed her a different side of life,
and now when she can Sera will visit Kiku.

Let talk about when Sera met Hadley. Little Sera was
walking about when she stumbled across a rather odd girl,
she looked like a Hindu goddess. Sera came up and said.
"What goddess are you!? You're pretty." Hadley chuckled
and explained that she was cosplaying. This was the
start of a rather weird friendship, even if they barely
know each other.

Meeting Cyan was a rather quiet experience. She saw
him drawing outside and Sera just sort of plopped herself
down next to him. The two didn't even have to speak a
word. Somehow by the end of the day they bonded. Now
the two of them meet up and just hang out doing whatever
the two young-lings chose to do.

Its always been about Seraphim.
When she was little, Sera would ask.. "Where did you get my name?"
Her parents would tell the story, and she would continue to ask
questions.

But as she grew, the imagery and romanticizing of Seraphims made
her wish to be like them. Sera wanted to fly over the clouds.. and
be one of them. She felt they were unique, and it was something
that reminded her of well.. herself.

So, that's what she did.
The day they asked, she drew out a complex design. She mixed in
elements that related to her namesake. A large sapphire, the jewel
of Serephiel. She even made them glow softly. As she drew it up,
Sera realized that she wasn't truly an angel.. so as the final touches
were made.. she changed a single wing into a demon wing that was
encrusted with sapphires.

And when she wears it, she finally feels complete.

The story I am about to share is rather close to my heart.
Its the story of how my wings came into creation, and I want the world to understand what they mean to me.

Days after I finally figured out how I wanted my wings, I began to think. 'What fabric? The colours? How big
should I make them?' They all rattled in my brain, waiting for me to figure them out. One by one they
finally started to come together, but I didn't do it by myself. My family helped me every little step of the way.

My parents and I went to a small fabric shop that was some what close by, so that I finally could figure out
the fabric. When we arrived, Asa guided me through the rows, waiting till I made a sound of want or curiosity.
I was somewhat lost, so I looked back and whimpered slightly. Nothing seemed to fit my vision. I was growing
frustrated and losing hope.

But mother stepped in at the right moment.

Mom pointed to a fabric that was just out of reach, and before I even had a chance to struggle... Father
grabbed it for me with a soft smile. I ran the fabric against my cheek, and almost fell to tears. "This is it! We
found it!" I paused in my excitement. "Thank you mother and father, I need to start crafting them!"

On the way back, I wouldn't put the fabric down.

When I walked through the door, both Demi and Sofi greeted me. They knew what "getting your wings" meant
in this family. And the three of us ran off to start creating the beautiful wings I wear today. Hours of sewing,
laughing and bonding... finally the wings were gaining shape.

The holster was soft and supple against me, a slight shine on the silver.
The sapphires glinted brightly.
The colourings were light and soft like my pelt.

I finally was allowed to drape them over me, and it was the best thing in the world.

Ever since I could write, I have kept a journal.
It's kept secret from everyone I know, because some of it sees way to far for a
child to be writing about. Here are some of the entries that are extremely
important to me. Welcome to my world.

"We create our own future, that's the only destiny there is."
There is something about this quote that made me slightly upset. As a small
child, I always imagined having this great and wonderful destiny, but the truth is
it’s quite the opposite. No one has a set destiny, all there are is choices upon
choices.

I think that's one of the most terrifying things that the world has to offer me.
What happens if I do something wrong? It can change the world as we know it.
I don't like that responsibility. The world and the future scare me beyond belief.
Everyone holds a piece of the future in their hands, and you really need to chose a
path that will end with the betterment of society... not your own personal agenda.

Or, maybe I am looking way to deep into this. I mean, I am only ten. I should
ask my mother about this, I want to know her insight to these questions.

Today I got lost in the big city.
Most would think "that's scary" but that wasn't how I felt when I got lost. It was
an adventure, it was something that maybe I needed. I was left to wander to my
own devices, I could do and see what I wanted without being questioned. I
learned a lot, I saw how people acted and responded to every day living and
scenarios. I realized there is a balance in the world, some are good... some are
not. It isn't simple but its easy to understand. People need both sides to show
who they truly are.

But enough about my psychology lesson. I met a friend.
They kind of watched over me till mother and father arrived. I think I am rather
fond of them already, I saw good in them and it was something I wanted to relate
to when I get older. Her name was.. Kiku. It was really relaxing to hang out with
her, she distracted me from all my thoughts and worries. I hope to see her again
soon.

I'm starting to realize what kind of person I want to be. Its odd, but I want to be
a good representation of all of my family. I want to be wise and gentle like how
my mother is with understanding and knowledge. I wish to be smart and
responsible like father. Part of me needs to be mysterious and always changing
like Demi while a part of me stays quirky and full of imagination like Sofi.
I hope to be everything that the world needs, someone to keep the balance in
line and to make my family proud.

Here is how her character will eventually evolve :

OCCUPATION • FOLKLORIST
Seeing as when Sera was little, she continued to grow into her love of mythology
and folklore. This sprang forth her job choice. Folklorist is the study of folklore
and where or why it came about. After her degree, she signed on with a few
museums. This allows her to travel and do something she loves.

SIDE JOB • CELLO PLAYER
Besides her love of folklore, her cello is still a second love. Sera and some of her
friends have a small new-age band doing covers of non-traditional music
like 2cellos.

SEXUALITY • PANSEXUAL-POLYGAMIST
Sera feels as if she can love more than one person and bases her love solely around
how others make her feel and how they personally are. [ Though she will only
have one mate.]

RELIGION • TSALAGI
Growing up, Sera had been unsure. But she believes someone, by some name is
out there. Her beliefs are more related to her mothers, for she sees everything
having a soul. And she respects and doesn't harm things out of malice.

QUIRK • CHROMESHESIA
Unknown fully to her, as a child, Sera had been gifted with the ability to "see"
music. When I say this, I mean when certain notes are played her mind
creates a colour representation.

I know how much this little girl means to both
of you, but I want you to know she is important
to me. My promise to both of you is that I
promise to give Seraphiel all the love that I
possibly could give. I won't just let her rot in
some character thread, I will be active
and cherish her forever.

If I win, I will roleplay her with you and friends
in the fanclub. Once, she is older I will find her
a mate and continue Moonbow babies.I have so
many plans, and I hope I can get to use them.
