Gold and silver tinsel was strewn all over the place, and the main room of Santa's workshop a complete disaster.
Toys were mangled, and the machines sputtered with smoke.
"WHAT HAPPENED HERE!?"
There was a bewildered shout from the other side of the room, an elf-like plumerian being the source of all
the yelling. He sauntered forward, mouth agape. Everything was a complete mess. At the moment, Buddy's
seemingly permanent smile was wiped off of his muzzle.
Green orbs snapped over to a group of furred creatures. In the supervisors absence, the trainee sleigh team
had wreaked havoc upon the area; more specifically a group of eight young reindeer. Eight of the original
nine sleigh reindeer were on a leave, taking a break from the work. Rudolph was the only exception. Said
reindeer glanced over at Buddy, frowning lightly.
"I'm so sorry Buddy, they got out of control... We need to fix this, and fast. It's Christmas eve tomorrow, isn't it?"
"Yeah..."
The helper trailed off, looking down at the tiled floor. How was he going to fix all this? All of a sudden, an
idea sprang into his head. Buddy's eyes lit up once more, and he looked back up at Rudolph with a grin.
"I know just how to fix this problem, Rudolph. Follow me!"
Buddy did not alert any of the others; instead taking matters into his own hands.
About six or seven hours later, the room looked spic and span. The trainees had aided in cleaning up the
area by finding and hanging more tinsel, but that wasn't all. Close friends were smuggled in. Buddy had
miraculously fixed the toys by paw, and Rudloph managed to fix the machines. Production was running
smoothly again, and Santa had never found out what happened two days before Christmas.
