Inklings | Writer Interviews

Here is a place where authors and readers alike can find stories or list their own for others to read based on genre.
The goal is to make it easier for people to find stories they would like to read and increase sharing and a sense of community with the writers and readers of CS!

This thread is to focus on indexing genres ONLY. If you post something other than a form, please make sure it remains on topic.

To get your story listed, all you have to do is fill out this form!
If a genre is missing from the list, you may still classify your story as something different and it will be added!
If you ever want to take one down or change information, you only need to say so.

Ok, I've seen some confusion as to how to classify stories, so here's a brief definition for each genre c:

Action/Adventure - Anything focusing on high-action scenes like war and battle or things like martial arts.
Challenges - This is for short-story challenges posted by other users that you choose to participate in.
Diary - This is for anything formatted as a diary; day-by-day and first person.
Drama - To be honest, the first though that comes to mind here is films noir with unnecessarily dramatic plots and events, like murder or scandal.
Fan-Fiction - Anything based on something that was created by someone else.
Fantasy - Anything that takes place in a different world or includes abilities, creatures, or phenomenon that are not real.
Fiction - Based in the past or modern day with original characters and events that are possible in our world.
Interactive - Where readers decide where the story goes choose-your-own-adventure style
Personal - Stories or rantings about yourself.
Poetry - Anything from sonnets to haikus to random drabbles!
Romance - A story that focuses specifically on one or multiple relationships.
Science-Fiction - Anything taking place in the future. This includes the space-age to post-apocalyptic, whether it be nuclear or zombie in nature.

The Government have paired up each of the kids to create the most genetically perfect children, to therefore save the human population from dying out. There are strict rules with harsh punishments, and when one girl finds herself in the middle of three guys, those rules are bound to be broken.
