Basic Personality: Zale is by no means strong r smart or social. He’s scared and skittish, shying away from everyone who tries to get close. Just like fish swim away as soon as they see a human, Zale won’t get near another plumerain. He’s easily terrified of everything and could very well have a heart attack if something decides to pop out of anywhere.
Zale is completely hopeless in romantic situations. He’s native and very innocent, leading to some awkward and one-sided conversations. If he does find out about their true intentions before hand, he’ll blush madly and burry his head in whatever sweater he was wearing that day.
Zale is pretty much scared of everything that walks the earth, although his greatest fear is the dark abyss whenever he’s swimming down towards the Mariana trench. He likes to steer clear of that place as much as possible, but he always finds himself uncomfortably close to the drop off.
The one time where Zale is relaxed his when he’s alone and surrounded by water, with no one to judge or watch him except the fish. He loves fish and has a giant fish tank in his house. He’s also got fish tank tables, which look something like

Zale is also found of reptiles, just not to the same level. His owns two snakes—a rosy boa and an okatee corn snake, along with two little leopard geckos. They both live in his room in large aquariums and are actually mildly attacked to him.
Good personality traits: Zale doesn't see many
good personality traits in him, but he does recognize
that he;s cautious around others and loves animals to
a point where he finds it hard to watch one die.
Bad personality traits: Zale wants to be more
social, so he considers his shyness 'bad'. He tries to
force himself into groups, but it always ends up
turning sour. He's found that over the years, no
matter what he does, he can't see to get along
with other plumerians.
Mood character is most often in: He's often
happy, since he spends his time away for everyone
else, either swimming, or a personal favorite of his, cliff jumping.
Sense of humor: Zale doesn't have a sense of humor,
at all. Unless, of course, you consider rotten fish jokes
as 'funny', then it would be best not to ask him for a joke.
He's not a clownfish!
Character’s greatest joy in life: His greatest joy would
have to be his fish tanks. He absolutely adores them and loves
all the fish inside. He spend many hours of working trying to
make them look good inside of his house and he's really proud
of the outcome.
Character’s greatest fear: The
Mariana Trench or any trench in general, is terrifying to him. He hates not knowing about the ocean, so when he looks down a drop off like
this, he definitely gets chills down his spine.
Character is most at ease when: He's swimming in shallow water, surrounded by turtles and fish who nibble at his paws. He loves to be able to dive down and collect shells, or even sea creatures such as
lobsters or
brittle stars. He has several of these in his aquarium, though you can't see them most of the time because they're under rocks.
Most ill at ease when: He's surrounded by other plumerians, no where near the water that he would dive in and sink like a rock. He especially hates crowds in cities where he can barley hear himself think and will hide in his sweater, avoiding everything that moves.
Enraged when: He's around other that he's told that he doesn't like watching things die and they kill something, most likely a fish, right in front of him. Although he won't snap, he's very sickened and will usually go and hide in a corner.
Depressed or sad when: When he's forced away from the water or when something that he was taking care of, an injured sea creature most likely, dies in his care.
Priorities: The ocean always comes first. Period.
Greatest strength: Zale's greatest strength is swimming and he can hold his breath a really long time. He would be an amazing competitive swimmer, but since he refuses to swim for anyone other than himself, he sticks to the ocean.
Greatest vulnerability or weakness: The fact that Zale gets startled really easily and will often hurt himself when he's trying to scramble away.
Biggest accomplishment: He's managed to save over a hundred sea animals that were hurt. They've all been tagged and released back into the wild, expect for a select few that wouldn't make it if he put them back.For those few, he put in either his large aquarium or one of the aquariums that swarm his house.
Favorites Color: His favorite color is purple, like the sweater that he wears.
Least favorite color: His least favorite color is yellow because to him, it's a dirty color. It's also way to bright and hurts his sensitive eyes.
Music: Zale doesn't listen to music very often, but when he does, it's has a tropical feel to it. He can't listen to pop or rock and has a hard time focusing on classical.
Food: A nice, big bowl of very buttery and warm popcorn. He loves to curl up late at night, watching movies and listening to the ocean that's right outside his doors.
Literature: Zale is a classical dork. He loves the classic books, especially Shakespeare.
Form of entertainment: Most often it's swimming, but he does enjoy building fish tanks. They're already all over his house, but he keeps adding more.
Most prized possession: His most prized possession would have to be his giant stuffed orca toy that he keeps on his bed. He often snuggles with it and watches the rain as it pounds on his windows.
Habits: Zale has a nervous habit of biting his nails when he's in an uncomfortable situation, such as being in a large crowd. He also will hide his head in his sweater, kind of like a turtle.
Hobbies: Zale's one and only hobby is swimming. He loves swimming, especially in the ocean.
Plays a sport? Zale doesn't do any sports since he can't stand to be around people, and most of the time you need a partner to play something.
Extremely skilled at: Zale is extremely skilled at swimming, but he doesn't like to show it off.
Extremely unskilled at: His people skills.
Nervous tics: Burring his head into his sweater and blushing even though he's done nothing wrong. He also stutters a lot when he's nervous.
