The drive in theatre (short description, feedback welcome)

One of the things I love about my town, is that next town over, about forty-five minutes away, still has a drive in theatre. They play kids movies, and action movies and rom coms, and right before every movie starts they play one of those vintage adds for popcorn and drinks. And watching the movie there are people sitting in their cars, and people who set up chairs, once there was a group of people sitting on top of their motor home. My favourite way to go is the same way I did when I was little. My dad took me and a family friend to go see ‘monster house’ he took the truck, and we set up pillows, blankets, and a mattress in the back. We sat close together, and shared popcorn and cotton candy. The actual movie, I remember scared me half to death, but it was still one of the best things that I’ve ever done. Every night in summer they do a double feature, a kids movie followed by some new action movie that’s out some people go see both and get to sit up front, but it’s almost always packed. Last summer I went again for the first time in the years, me my sister and two of our cousins. When we got our cousins nearly had heart attacks when they saw the size of the screen, we all went right up to massive wall and got our pictures taken next to it. My cousin put hers on Facebook, and her friends were shocked at the fact that we even had a drive in. To this day it’s only drive in I’ve ever seen, and it’s a small town in Canada. I’ve been to LA and Idaho and never seen another one, so know that if you have a drive in near where you are, you’re one of the luckiest people out there. There aren’t many left, but if you’re lucky you’ll know where to go, and sit outside, and count the stars while you wait for the movie to begin.

Just a quick description, what do you think?
“If this could be -
The high Sierras I would level to your feet -
The wild waves on Capistrano's shore should
pay you homage - I'd make the desert a
million roses yield - - to die in shame
before your beauty- If this could be!”
