Poke.
"Tony?"
Silence.
Poke poke.
"Tony. I'm bored."
The sound of the pages of a book turning, then more silence.
Glitch sighed as her boyfriend shunned her, instead more infatuated with the book than he was with her. What was that stupid thing about, anyways? Eh. It didn't matter.
What did matter is that it was taking her Tony away from her.
The girl sighed from behind her tall boyfriend, but of course, he still didn't acknowledge her presence. She rested her head against his back, looking up at the ceiling. The fan entertained her for a few seconds before she grew tired of even that. With a huff, Glitch stood quickly, turning towards Tony, but still behind him. The thought popped up in her head to poke him again, but she knew that wouldn't work.
Suddenly, a more sinister plot formed in her brain. Glitch grinned evilly, skipping off to God knows where to carry out her little plan.

---

Tony had been reading his favorite Stephen King book - "The Dark Half", a classic - when Glitch had begun bothering him. While it was easy to ignore her, that said nothing about his temperament. Why, he was very close to teaching her a lesson about messing with his reading time when she finally decided to leave. He didn't know why she left, or where she was headed, and frankly, that didn't matter to him. As long as she didn't decide to get creative on anyone, he paid no mind to her.
But he had no idea what Glitch had in store for him...

---

Glitch soon returned with her brushes and a few jars of paint - none of them being green, of course. Green was NOT a creative color.
And she planned on being creative today...
She silently crept up behind her boyfriend, laying down the jars and her paint brushes so that he didn't hear her. So far, so good. He didn't seem to notice her, and if he did, he was probably ignoring her again.
The girl grinned maniacally, twisting off a jar of bright blue paint and dipping a brush into it hastily. Red wouldn't do the trick, but yellow, pink, and orange certainly would! She uncapped those colors too, grabbing another brush and dipping it into the yellow. Then, with one clean, streaking motion, she smeared the colors on Tony's back, starting to paint a little masterpiece - but only for a moment.
Tony perked up and turned his head towards Glitch, shrieking when he saw what she was doing. He immediately stood and staggered back away from her, glaring as his girlfriend. The man hesitantly reached for his back with one arm, face paling drastically when he felt the wetness of the paint staining his pure white gloves. His face went from ghost white to beet red in a matter of seconds, and his eyes turned deadly.
All the while, Glitch was howling with laughter, on her back and rolling around on the floor. She was near tears - this was hilarious! Oh, if only Tony could see the look on his face!!!
Glitch opened her eyes with a smile as she finally stopped laughing. Looking to her boyfriend, that smile quickly turned into a frown as she noticed his deathly glare.
She gulped a bit as Tony stalked towards her angrily, eyes filled with fury. Glitch began to back away slowly, but she proved too late. Tony grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to him, causing her to bump into his chest.
The girl squealed in surprise, looking up at her red-faced boyfriend as he glowered down at her. He looked back, mourning over the loss of his perfectly red coat, before uttering one simple word - one simple word, filled with the raging fury of a hurricane, that is.
"WHY."

---

Well he certainly had not been expecting this.
Here he was, trying to read a book in peace for once, and Glitch decided to get creative all over his back.
Tony glared hatefully at his girlfriend, who was trying to search for the right words to say. When she believed she had found them, she spoke quietly, eyes downcast and full of sorrow.
"I... I wanted you to pay attention to me..."
Tony's eyes widened slightly, and his scowl softened. His grip on her arm did not loosen, however. Instead, it pulled her even closer to him, so she was forced to wrap her arms around him. Tony engulfed her in a gentle hug, resting his chin on top of her head.

---

Glitch gasped a bit when Tony hugged her, placing her hands in the paint on his back to accept his offer. Great. Now she kinda felt bad for that.
She hugged him tightly, the words escaping her lips before she realized she was speaking. "I'm sorry... I... I wanted you to notice me... You never have any time for me anymore, and -"
Tony kissed her lightly on the lips before smiling and placing a now paint-covered hand on her cheek. He chuckled quietly before mumbling softly, "You little fool...
"I'll always make time for you."
Now that the existential crisis has passed, I'm not leaving! Sorry for the momentary scare, folks!
