Humanized King Andor

For a Sima Form ^-^

"Human?!” I cried, running my ‘hands’ through my hair and pacing back and forth across the floor, trying to get used to my new legs.

“Yes Sire. You have always been a human. Is something wrong?” my company asked, looking skeptical of my behavior. He stood there like a statue, watching me like a leopard. I hated it.

“No, I’m not a human. I am a Sima! I should be back in my home, playing with my friends or hanging out at my cave.” I threw myself down into a nearby chair and put my hands to my face. They sure felt weird, but at least they were warm.

“A Sima?” the servant asked, and I could hear that he sounded uncomfortable.

“Yes!” I shouted, sitting up straight and giving the man a glare. “Do you have no Simas here?”

He shook his head. “No sir. We only have the regular creatures living around here. If these…Simas lived here, maybe they are just hiding. None of the other servants nor I have seen any.”

“But you don’t even know what they look like.” I kept my side strong. This guy was getting on my last nerve I swear.
The servant furrowed his eyebrows and crossed his arms. “But I do know that I would know if I saw one because they are certainly different than cats, dogs, and goats.”

I glared and stood up, walking out of the room and running a hand through my hair. This was certainly not good. I strolled over to one of the large windows and threw one of the curtains aside, gazing down at the world outside. It was boring for a moment until I noticed someone that I recognized. Upon closer inspection I found out that this person was Crendusk. Now how in the world did she get here?

I furrowed my eyebrows and made my way down the stairs to meet her there. This could not be happening. And why was Crendusk a human? After going through his thoughts, he stopped in his tracks in realization. Of course the servant wouldn’t see any Simas! They were all human like him! He smacked his forehead in dumb thinking before racing out the doors.

It was quite cold outside, despite the slightly cloudy day and the sun shining. I wrapped my cape around me more tightly as I ran around, trying to find where my friend was. I suddenly noticed her in the gardens, heading towards the forested area. I smiled with delight and made my way over to her.

“Good afternoon, Miss Crendusk,” I said politely as I approached, giving a slight bow. She turned around and raised an eyebrow, giving me a giggle and a playful curtsy in return.

“Good afternoon, King Andor. Is there a reason you have chosen me to converse with today?” She looked back to the flowers she was admiring a moment ago and smiled as her hand slowly caressed the petals.

I was confused as I straightened up. Was she being serious or pretend? “I saw you from afar, and none of my other friends are around. I’m just a bit confused on my situation here.” I scratched the back of my head in thought.

Crendusk glanced back at me and gave me a concerned look. “Sire, I don’t know what you are talking about. I’m just one of your townspeople, admiring the gardens. We haven’t met in previous times.” She turned her body towards me cautiously.

I was dumbfounded. How could she not know me? This was getting odd. “Well, in the world where I come from, we are friends. I am not sure how I got here, or why we are humans. We are supposed to be Simas.”

She stood there like a stone, not giving me any emotion or reply whatsoever. Her eyes showed that this was not normal for her, and that I must sound like a maniac. After some time she finally cleared her throat and somewhat relaxed her tensed posture, shaking her head. “King Andor, I would suggest that you go and get some rest. Your mind is certainly not functioning properly, and it would be the best for everyone if you went and got your thoughts in order.” I noticed she took a step back, and I tensed. She must be uncomfortable.

“Very well. I’ll go do that. Maybe I’m just living in a dream world.” I chuckled and started to leave, and I heard Crendusk doing her sweet giggle. I stood there for only a second more to admire it before fully turning my back and heading back towards my castle.

After finally getting settled back in the walls of my castle, I walked down the halls to piece the situation together, sort of in my mind world. I didn’t even notice a person in front of me, and I bumped into it quite abruptly. “Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going,” I cried.

The person wobbled a little bit on their feet, but soon enough they rubbed their head and stood up straighter to greet me. As I saw this person’s face, I noticed that this particular human was Jéns, the young teen that was the son of my friend Kennedy.

“King Andor, I’m the one who should be sorry! I should have moved out of your way.” He took off his baseball hat and shuffled his hair a little bit before placing his hat back on his head. “I’m just heading out to ride my skateboard!”

I tilted my head a little bit. Kennedy must be busy to let him go on his own, unless he was with friends. “Are you going alone?” I asked a bit skeptically.

Jéns shook his head. “No Sir, Christoffer and Eclipsement will be with me!” He gave me a grin and picked up his skateboard that he was apparently riding on in the hall. This boy sure took chances on that thing.

I sighed and thought for a moment. Being with his guardian and his brother seemed good enough, but I would be in trouble if he got hurt on my account, even if I am the King. “I will allow you to go, but I must have one of my guards or another adult with you. I’m not the most secure with my position right now, and I need to figure out how everything works again before letting you go on your own or with your brother.”

Jéns listened and nodded. “I could get Repeat to come along! Or Jacoff!” He looked excited to spend time with his family and friends, and I was happy he enjoyed their company well enough that he wouldn’t be upset with them coming along. He was always a good natured boy.

I laughed softly. “Why don’t you go ask Jacoff? He is better at protecting you guys, plus he knows how to be safe while having fun.” The guy was annoying sometimes, but at least he could help me out. Besides, it’s not my fault he is the way he is. He just doesn’t have the personality I prefer in Sima….wait, Humans.

I could practically see Jéns’ face light up with glee. “Okay, King Andor! Thank you!” He started to run past me when apparently he remembered something and backed up. “Oh! Before you go, Crendusk and Kennedy wanted to talk to you…I believe they said they were in the study.”

I raised an eyebrow, but nodded as a thank you and I started to walk down the hall to meet the two in my study. I was wondering why Crendusk was there, but she must have been escorted by a guard.
