this is necessary ok
so this is the thread where the history of Azkonarro Naftis, a lovely Jellybean Dragon, will be stored.
Please do not post, though feel free to read it. ^v^
A blinding flash of pale gold pierced the dragon's gaze, searing across the span of his vision for several heartbeats, until he dared to look away. Turning his face to shield it from the heat, already wafting through the sky and making it shimmer and leap, he closed his eyes, revealing the white flashes over them, delicate light patterns on his fur. He stood, eyes still closed, short fur rippling with his muscles, and let the dancing, contorting images- a patch of teal here, a bright pink splash there- spin behind his eyelids. Once their vibrant colors had faded like the sun in twilight, he opened them again and walked back towards his shady acacia camp. He lay in the shade, rolling onto his back so that his belly fur was cooled in the shade. He could only remember one day this hot, when the entire sky was a scorching field that no bird dared fly- a day marked in history, a day monumental to his entire life. A day he'd heard about countless times- the day that the tan dragon had been born.
