{The dream}
Everything was dark...and then everything went light, it was blurry and I saw faded shadows above me .I couldn't see who they were, but I could hear them, soft warming voices echoed through the den .I could feel them, well at least one of them .So warm...and soft .I had presumed it was my mother...but...then I could feel someone else beside me, warm...but small and less furry, that was my brother...
That was about it, that's all I remember .I shook my head and sighed, "if only I could remember everything..." I said looking out into the valley .I sat down and stared into the centre of the moon and idolised the stars ."Mom...dad...brother? If you can hear me, I just wanted you to know that I miss all of you and I love you...even if you don't love me..." I stopped and cleared my throat "What am I doing...I'm talking to myself...I guess I truly am alone." I sighed before drifting off into the darkness of my mind.
[In her head]
I felt light headed...my heart was not aching...and I couldn't feel anything...not even the ground "Where am I?" I asked myself before a ray of blinding light shot by me."Ugh!" I yelled as I attempted to observe what was going on .I gasped and widened my eyes as the light brightened, crystal clear memories levitated around me "M-memories?" I gasped as I looked at each of the images surrounding me .I giggled and laughed as I saw what my family looked and sounded like, I saw my mother and father playing and my brother tackling me when I was distracted .A tear of happiness rolled down my cheek as I watched, but soon that tear multiplied with sadder tears as the happiness faded away .My heart began to ache and I could feel pain again, that big hole that was left in my mind was soon filled with things I wish hadn't .I found out what happened to my family...
"H-humans..." I shivered as I saw my family vanish from this world .All that was left was their blood covered bodies and their daughter crying at the entrance of their den .Then as I thought the worst had gone, a human picked my up and threw me against a hard surface .I hit my head so hard that part of my memory had disappeared, and I truly wish it did .When I woke up I discovered I was in the hands of a human girl .I growled and tried to get away but I wasn't strong enough, I whimpered and gave up .I looked up at her and she looked back at me, I frowned at her and she returned a warming smile .I widened my eyes as she placed me in her jacket and I soon drifted off into deep sleep.
[Back to the real world]
I woke up and gasped, I took a deep breath and tears began rolling down my face "Is that what truly happened...or was it just a false dream..." I shivered and sat up .I looked at the ground and sighed before walking back to my den.
