Alright, here are all the people so far -
The Mane

The mane are the ones who travel to try and take care of the events headed their way. The most important parts of all.

lithium.'s Thyla
Personality wrote:Thyla is a quiet JMD at heart, and quite a grumpy bum at that too
she likes croutons, and being alone, cold weather

Nyx.'s Lunar
Personality wrote:sarcastic, a little rude, adventurous, clever, finds it hard to trust others. She's been chased by police before, so she's got experience with this kinda thing.

Beep Boop Meow's Calais
Personality wrote:A jungle girl, Calais is always ready for a fight. She's definitely more of the 'leader-ly' type, always taking charge of a group. She can get very violent at times and is an AMAZING fighter. Her weapon of choice is a polished bamboo pocketknife, whittled and given to her by her deceased younger brother. She pushes any kind of love or friendship away in fear of getting hurt.

My Espresso
Personality wrote:She's a very sweet thing. She is also quite energetic, but mostly when she has coffee, which, though her friends try to keep it away from her, she always manages to get. She's also very kind. She is a very kind-natured soul, she is friendly to all people and loves to make friends of all sorts. She will be friends with everybody though she does like alone time as well. But, you really just have to meet her to know, even if she has her nose dug into her sketch book.

DaringAsh's Kotar
Personality wrote:A stereotypical nerd. He is super shy, and stutters a lot. Safety and clean freak.

Persian♥'s Percy
Personality wrote:-Brave-
Percy is very brave. He would be the one to go out in the middle of the night just for the fun of it. This guy is scared of almost nothing. Bugs, storms, and bears with chainsaws- none of it scares him. No matter how brave Percy is he's not perfect and does have some fears.
-Cocky-
This guy is very sure of himself. His bravery feeds in to this and makes him think he can do a lot of things he can't such as fighting a bear with chainsaws. Percy uses his cockiness to cover up most of his flaws. If everyone is to busy noticing how confident he is in himself, Percy believes they won't see any deeper than that.
-Flirty-
What can I say? Percy is great with girls. He can be a little overzealous and ocasionaly the 'in a relationship' thing just doesn't click with him. If anyone asks him about it than Percy will say that he is just hunting for the right girl and for the most part this is true. Percy has met many lovely ladies, but he has never really clicked with one. He is hoping to find the perfect girl someday so until then he will just keep hunting.
-Smart-
Percy is a man with a plan. He aced ever test in school and never made below a high B on a report card. If you need help on problem or brain teaser, go to Percy. He will know how to solve it. He enjoys reading and writing as pastimes. When he was younger, he used to bet with with the other kids who would make a better grade. He won most the time.
magic of copy and paste

Wolfswelp's Dustin
A Real Long Personality wrote:{Adventurous/Daring/Brave}
Adventures, adventures, adventures. Adventures are his favorite activity! Always looking for the thrill, he throws himself in a new adventure everyday! He loves to explore the world. He wants to now everything.
Everyplace he comes to has to be investigated! He goes on every adventure, no matter how dangerous it would be. He wants to see all the wonders of the world. This is everything to him.

{Funny/Humorous}
Dustin loves jokes and to joke around! Laughing heartedly is great in his opinion.
It's such a good feeling to have fun. In his opinion, someone who never has fun and is uptight can't live healthy. What is the world without happiness and fun? That would be sad and boring. He also loves to makes jokes himself. Always having one in petto. Dustin loves to make people laugh. It gives him the feeling, that he has done a good deed.

{Charming}
He just can't help it. Dustin is always his charming self to a fine lady.
Compliments aren't held back. Making nice comments and flirting openly is no problem for him.
But sometimes, ladies don't find it that great. That doesn't make any difference for him.
And even if it seems like it, he doesn't play with someones feelings. Everything is said truthfully.

|Bad Traits|

{Short-tempered}
Dustin loses his temper, quite to often. When things don't go as he likes, he gets frustrated fast and snaps.
This issue is one of the things that get him in problems. He just cant keep his head cool in situations like these. Of course, he doesn't attacks or hurt anyone, but he uses some really ugly words. Screaming in despair is another thing that shows, that he lost his patience.

{Troublesome}
He does stupid things. Really stupid things. Dustin can be very troublesome for his friends.
Believe me, you don't want to be caught in his mistakes. They can be outrageous!

Extras

Even if they are an extra they are still important. They can help you, or maybe not, maybe they'll be someone you'll want to avoid.

Guepardo's Kane
Kane is very quiet at times. He has slight trust issues, so it may take him a while to actually warm up to you. He's very intelligent, yet he mostly keeps his ideas to himself. Well, he is the silent type after all. Kane can often look mysterious, and many take him to be that way. Kane can be a little bit nosy at times, but it's just because he doesn't like being left out. He hates being left out. Kane is often very snarky, sarcastic, and stubborn. He's easy to tick off... He hold grudges for a long time, as well. If you do something to him that he doesn't like, oh yes, he will remember. He kind of has the memory of an elephant. Kind of. There is a side to Kane that not many see. He's actually quite sweet once you get to know him well...

sassypants888's Vesper
Vesper is solitary at most times. But once you get to know him, he is friendly and loyal. Vesper's bravery and intelligence has gotten him through many trials, even when he comes face to face with a predator as large as he is.

The Government

The ones trying to hunt them down. Their goal is to exterminate the Mane for now.

My Genevieve
Dreadful. Perfectly dreadful. How can I describe the way this strange girl acts. A strange girl. How so? Let me explain. She isn't exactly, S̮̤̘̟a̸͙̜ṇ̦ͅe̸̥ is you know what I mean. Well you can't say she is insane either but looney, moonstruck, crazy and screwy are good words. But all will be explained in the story but she really was a sweet girl. She loved to talk and she loved to smile. Now, you will be lucky to get a grin out of her. Sometimes if you say certain things she will go pale and snap into a dazed trance but many know what things can trigger that. She enjoys to stay a bit secluded and doesn't ever want to really go out in public. When she does she looks strange and awkward. Not only does she have a scared and worried personality but she also has a social anxiety and a good amount of depression. She doesn't try to get help and she doesn't want it. AND SHE DOESN'T LIKE YOUR BABIES.

No more, ;n;

Special Services

Special Services have been onto the government for a long time now. They have a really important part and without them the mane would surely die.

WhiteWolfMoon's Nikki
Nikki is that girl you see in class who never puts her hand up, but is super smart. She isn't a huge fan of school, but then, who is? She can get uncomfortable when with strangers, as she is a bit shy, but among familiar faces she can actually be very curious, adventurous, bold and daring. She is inquisitive and never afraid to ask questions. She is very close to nature, and enjoys a day spent among the herbs or in a forest or garden just as much as she enjoys hanging with her friends. Nikki isn't one of those 'popular' girls who have like 10 'friends' that follow them around and pretty much worship that girl. No, Nikki has 3 or 4 close friends, and she likes to keep it that way. She and her friends don't hang out incredibly often, but they see each other around a lot, and all of them are just fine with that. Nikki is very keen and perceptive, and she can usually tell when a jewel is lying. She doesn't like it when other jewels lie to her face. She almost always can tell, and she really dislikes it. She thinks that honesty is one of the best policies, and she holds that up, sticking true to her word. If the jewel even jusy drops a simple apology just walking past her, she holds them in high esteem, because they 'have redeemed themself'. But if they don' t, or if they are rude/mean to her, or gossip or spread rumors about her...well, let's just say that while Nikki iusually will be willing to forgive and forget, er...well, she is very capable of holding grudges as well. She is very compassionate and forgiving, kind and sweet, hopeful and caring, but when you bring out her bad side...oh, Nikki can be nasty then. She will go behind that jewelie's back and spread mean rumors about them. Then, she will be cold and deceiving, sly and cunning. She will ignore them, and continue to be mean to them, and, if any, their friends. Eventually, she' ll drop it, but not before she's had 'her fun'. Her friends generally don't approve, but she can get hissy-fits around them then too. When Nikki is in a bad mood, she gets sassy and snipes at everyone, even though she constantly stresses to her friends not to snap at her. Luckily, she usually has the sense to apologize afterwards. So, Nikki is a sensible, kind, smart, forgiving jewel with a bit of shyness and a dark, angry side as well. She may be the head of the Special Service, since we're still debating she just needed somewhere to be! Why that's very long ^^

If you're missing just yell at me, I think I missed somebody though! Ahh, Xc

CHAPTER ONE

Espresso looked up, angry. She had spent the day wrestling with the goats. Espresso owned a few baby goats and had to milk the other goats to feed them. The mothers were quite reluctant, as Espresso’s mud and milk stained fur showed. As she pushed the last goat out the fence into the pasture with a feeling of pride she looked up. It decided to try to come back at her but she growled and tried to push the stubborn animal in there. She heard a slight helicopter in the distance. At first she dismissed it as loggers, which she hated. Then the roar became more insistent. It roared in the back of her mind like a fly on a hot day. Ugh, I hate loggers.
Finally Espresso looked up. It was a helicopter for sure but was giant. It had at least four fans holding up, but it was huge. Must also run on solar power. She thought. Then something strange happened. Something dropped out of the helicopter.
It was a box. Pure black and seemed heavy, it dropped through the air quickly and Espresso saw a tree fall where the box hit. Espresso waited another moment to see if anything would explode. That’s a stupid way to think. Who would drop a explosive. She still couldn’t drop her worries. Her insides felt as if she had eaten a feather and there was a lump in her throat.
“That’s it. I’m going to get help.” She said aloud, barely audible. Espresso wasn’t going to face this alone.

Espresso made it back to the town easily enough. As she walked through the entrance gate she spotted some people to help her. She spotted Lunar and Calais, some of the toughest jewels. They were looking at each other, each eyeing each other. Espresso approached them with caution, hoping not to provoke them.
“Umm, Calais?” She said, tiptoeing up to Calais first, hoping not to say the wrong thing. “Do, you, ahh, mind helping me?”
Calais eyed her at first, head cocked and ears back. Her tail flicked dangerously and her shark tooth necklace and bone earrings made her even more intimidating. “With what?” Calais was game to an adventure but not to some silly arts and craft project Espresso was known for.
“Well, you see.” Espresso was trying to find a way to word that a giant helicopter had dropped an unknown object in the forest. “Uhh, I saw some jewels looking for a fight and they put some weird stuff around the forest.” she lied quickly. She hated lying but to get Calais to come, she had to,
“I think so.” Calais wouldn’t mind having a little fight with the unknown jewels, and maybe be a hero too. “I’m not doing anything right now.”
“Alright, could you wait here a moment?” Espresso said, a little frantically, hoping to talk to Lunar before Lunar left to do other things instead of talk to the town’s crafter.
“Hmpf.” Calais grunted and let Espresso go. She really just wanted to go, but she could wait a while to kick a jewel’s behind.
Quickly, Espresso darted over to Lunar. Lunar turned and looked at her suspiciously.
“What do you want?” She asked, with a little snark in her tone.
“I just wanted you to help me, could you?” Espresso pleaded, attempting to make puppy dog eyes, with no avail.
“Sorry Expresso. I have some things I need to do other than make newspaper hats. Or are you here to help me make a scrapbook.” Lunar drawled. She then tried to brush off Espresso but she just wouldn’t leave.
“It involves an adventure.” Espresso said temptingly.
“Fine, but then you have to leave me alone.” Lunar said reluctantly.
“Alright, I will be back. Can you stay here a moment?” Espresso looked around quickly. “I need a few more people and then we can go!” She almost yelled the last word, impatient as well to see the unknown object.

So, Espresso had been all around the town at this point. Then she saw someone else who she wanted with them.
“Hey, Thyla!” Espresso waved her hand in the air, trying to get Thyla to notice. She then remembered Thyla was blind and brought her hand down slowly, embarrassed, glad that Thyla couldn’t see that stupid mistake. So she gingerly walked up to Thyla, who was looking out, as if trying to see who was there.
“Hey, sorry about that.” Espresso said, now standing right in front of Thyla.
Thyla jumped, unaware that Espresso was now standing in front of her.
“Espresso, please.” she sighed. “Stop doing that.”
“Sorry, but would you like to go out in the forest with me, Lunar and Calais? We’re going to go out and looked for some things.” Espresso said. Even if Thyla was blind, she could pay attention to other things, much better than most. Maybe she could hear something if the box was going to explode.
“Isn’t that a strange question to ask?” Thyla said. Hoping not to go, she didn’t want to go out of town just, have a nice day. Then she sniffed, Espresso smelled like a goat. “And, couldn’t you use a bath.”
“Wrangling with goats you know.” Espresso said, trying to stay cheery despite the bath remark. “Alright how about this, you come with me and I’ll never make you do anything like this with me again.” She knew that it was an offer that Thyla couldn’t resist. Though Espresso was sure she would ask to do the same thing in a year or two.
“A fair offer,” Thyla mused, “alright, but if you try to recruit me for anything like this again then you can learn how a white jewel works.”
“But that what I have-” Espresso started.
“Expression.” Thyla interrupted quickly.
“Alright, see you in a while then.” Espresso said and quickly dashed off.
“I think she has a jewel for a brain.” Thyla muttered when Espresso was out of earshot.

Espresso had a good group of jewels, but even Calais and Lunar could protect themselves from whatever was in that box. actually they totally could kick their butts . Maybe just a few more people. She thought. Then she saw another person she knew, Kotar. Even if he was safe type person, nobody could turn down an of this adventure magnitude. She bounded up to him. He was sitting at a iron wrought table with a cup of tea. She saw he was reading a book but didn’t bother to find out what.
“Hey, Kotar!” She beamed.
“U-uh yes?” He said, startled that Espresso started talking to him. He turned his head around quickly and looked her up and down.
“Would you like to have some fun?” Please come. Please come. Please come.
“W-well what kind of fun?” He asked, curious. Kotar was just enjoying reading his book, he didn’t want to necessarily leave.
“An adventure!” She exclaimed. “I saw something in the forest, so far me, Calais, Lunar and Thyla are going to check it out! Please come! We would love you to come, we need some smart people to help us figure out what it is!”
“Well, how long would this adventure be?” He asked and shut his book. Espresso now saw the title, Catcher in the Rye. “Hello?” Espresso’s head snapped up to look at Kotar, after being entranced by the old leather book.
“Oh, not too long, probably just the afternoon.” Espresso was now doing a little dance. She seemed to be bouncing on her toes like a ballerina. or if she had to go to the bathroom//shot
“Oh, alright. Maybe this will be an interesting learning experience, like a field study.” He slid off the iron chair, which left a criss-cross pattern on his fur.
“Oh yay! Oh, and could you do me a favor?” Espresso just remembered. She had left Lunar and Calais giving each other the evil eye for a while now.
“I suppose, what is it?” He said. He looked at her, straight in the eye, head cocked.
“Well, I left Lunar and Calais by themselves near the entrance gate. I want them to wait up for a little longer, and if you see Thyla could you bring her with you?” Espresso was afraid Kotar would not accept the task, for she was asking for a bunch of things, and in return she was probably going to get him dirty and covered in woodland scratches.
But to her surprise Kotar agreed. “W-well, uhh sure, wait for you there right?”
“Oh yes, thank you!” She hugged Kotar tightly and went off on her way. Kotar stood there, awkwardly.
“Was not prepared for that one....”

Then she saw the last people she would want on the little expedition. Dustin and Percy howling in laughter together. They were standing right outside the store, Two Directions. Which was a gift shop for tourists, but locals bought things there as well.
“Hey, Presso!” Percy and Dustin came up to her, still chuckling and giving each other looks.
“Hey, boys, how are you guys doing?” Espresso looked at them, wondering what they were doing that was so funny. She wouldn’t be surprised if they had pulled some small prank.
The two dragons looked at each other and smiled and started laughing again.
“Great, really really great.” Dustin smiled.
“Yeah, fabulous.” Percy smiled at Espresso too.
“So, you two up for an adventure?” Espresso wasn’t too worried about these two being candidates. They loved to prove how brave and adventurous they were by taking risk.
“Sure, as long as it’s dangerous.” grinned Percy.
“Oh, it should be. Listen to this-” Espresso told them the whole story in truth, about the helicopter and the big box.
“Well I’m game, how about you Percy?” Dustin looked over at Percy, waiting for him to agree as well.
“What can I say, I’m a handsome adventurer.” Percy shrugged.
“Whatever you say Percy.” Espresso giggled as Percy shot her a glance.

They all ventured back to the front of the town and sure enough Kotar was waiting with the rest of the people she invited.
“Hey there Calais,” Percy said, charmingly.
“What are you looking at?” Calais growled.
Percy’s look could only be described as frozen. He blinked and regained his dignity. “You’re just jealous.”
“Okay, enough of the old married couples chat.” Espresso said cheerfully.
“Hey!” Calais and Percy yelled in unison.
“You see, anyways, we should probably get going or the thing isn’t going to be there. And we all want to see it right?” Espresso asked the whole group. Two faces bored, two excited and two faces just confused.
“Let’s just go.” Calais twitched her tail impatiently, obviously ready to get on the move to the forest.
“I’d have to second that.” drawled Lunar looking at Espresso, waiting for her to show them.
“Alright, no need to be hasty. But, let’s go.” Espresso lifted into the air and started flying forwards, then looked with her head over her shoulder. “You coming?”
The six. others dragons rose into the air. All flying closely together, and all wondering what this thing in the forest held in store for them.

Two masked figures looked down from the helicopter. The second figure piloting the plane gave the thumbs up. The first one scrambled into the back on the helicopter. He smashed his hand into the paw insert. It scanned his paw and granted him access. The giant black box held in place by the four large robotic talons make a creaking sound and slowly moved down. The bottom of the helicopter opened and the box was released. The first watched as it fell through the hole. It hit the ground, causing a few trees to collapse. As he looked over he dropped a needle he was carrying, but he didn't care much, it wouldn't matter.
Only a few trees.
They could hear it over the roar of the four fans on the top. It smashed, it sounded as if a glacier had cracked. The second one turned and smiled at the first, but invisible to the first.
“Good job, and don’t worry. The first is always the hardest.”

Alright little afterword which will be after probably each chapter.
