Into the Woods|JMD Slenderman|Posting Open

Postby ~Sassy~ » Sat May 04, 2013 3:20 am

Rumors have gone around about a abnormally tall faceless man with long arms has been roaming the nearby woods. He has been said to take anyone who enters the woods, and they are never seen again. Several Jewel Mane Dragons are brave enough to enter the woods and find the eight pages and try to return before the alleged man gets them too.

Vesper's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Sat May 04, 2013 9:47 am

Vesper gathered his supplies. His camera, a couple flashlights with extra batteries, and some snacks. Vesper smiled and left his house. Getting into his car, Vesper started it and drove toward the woods. When he arrived, he found that everyone else had beaten him, even his sister Lunar E. "Ready?" Vesper asked everyone.

"Yes, we've been waiting for you," Luna sneered.

"Okay then. We'll split into groups. Finding those pages will be easier then. I will go with my sister. Karma, you go with Adrastos. The other three are in one group," Vesper explained. He gave each group a couple snacks. "Be sure to keep up your energy. Now..." Vesper paused, "let's go!" The groups split and ran into different directions and into an unknown danger that may be lurking in the shadows of the night.

Vesper slowed down and pulled out his flashlight. He turned it on and noticed Lunar doing the same thing. She nodded toward him and they both started searching for a page or two. Vesper almost forgot to turn on his camera. After turning it on, he continued searching. Minutes later, the siblings came to some tanks. "I wonder what is in them, or at least what was in them," Vesper thought to himself. He noticed a building near the tanks. "You can check the building. It may just be a bathroom area, but you never know," Vesper explained.

Lunar nodded and headed toward the building. Vesper began to search each side of every tank. No signs of a page. Vesper sighed and continued to search around the tanks, hoping he could find one soon. Finally, he found one on the end of one tank. He grabbed it and put it in his bag. He noticed his camera was acting up. Then his nose began to randomly bleed, he had obtained a headache, and he felt like vomiting. Then, footsteps filled the silent night. Vesper thought it was Lunar, but then, Vesper felt a snake-like tentacle rest on his shoulder.

Re: Lunar E. View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Mon May 13, 2013 12:11 pm

Lunar E. quietly walked into the building. Her camera was on and fully functional, and the same for her flashlight. She walked through the halls of what appeared to be a bathroom, but Lunar was unsure, as she hasn't even seen one toilet or one shower. The building was completely empty, except for a chair here and there.

Lunar E. continued searching high and low for a sign of a note anywhere in the building. She checked every little room that was in the building. Lunar E. was unlucky and left the bathroom building. She noticed Vesper was missing and she looked around, hoping he didin't abandon her, or hopefully not taken by Slender man. "Vesper!" She shouted

"I am up here!" Lunar E. heard a voice from the woods. She ran towards the trees and looked up and seen Vesper, his eyes filled with fear. "What happened?" Lunar E. asked.

"He happened. I found a note on one of the tanks. I then became sick with a headache, bloody nose, and nausea. My camera began to act up as well. He then laid a..." Vesper studdered "a tentacle or something on my shoulder and I looked at him. His face was... missing. I darted up into this tree and he disappeared, almost like he teleported," Vesper continued as he climbed down the tree.

Luna looked at him and laughed. "Are you kidding me? The rumors about the man are fake. There is no such thing as a man with no face. You must have been imagining it." She continued. "Let's just keep going," Luna led the way back into the woods with Vesper, looking for another page.

Ebony's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Fri May 17, 2013 5:20 pm

Ebony was shaking from her head to the end of her tail, even if she was with two others, the creepy atmosphere still freaked her out. "Just find the pages, then we can all leave this dreaded place. I mean c'mon they're only eight pages or so. How hard could it possibly be?" Ebony thought to herself.

Ebony turned on her flashlight right before tripping over a tree root and faceplanting into the ground. She quickly got up and shook dirt off of herself. "No one saw that!" She muttered. She looked around and noticed some weird trees. They were branchless and had no sign of any leaves.

Ebony and her group began to look for any possible pages on or near the mysterious trees. "Nothing of interest for me," Ebony announced to the rest of the group. She noticed Cato was right behind her.

"Umm, there is a page right here," Cato corrected Ebony

Before Cato could grab the page, Ebony ran up to the page and snatched it. "I... uh... my flashlight isn't as functional as yours. I probably didn't see the page," Ebony blushed, trying not to admit she passed it for other reasons.

After placing the page in her bag, Ebony felt as though someone was watching the group. Her nose began to bleed, migraines filled her head, and her camera was acting up. Ebony shrugged and walked with her small group as they walked away, not knowing about the growing danger.

Karmaletta's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Sat May 18, 2013 3:07 pm

Karmaletta walked slightly behind Adrastos as she observed her surroundings for any notes. Karmaletta looked at Adrastos and opened her mouth, as if trying to start a conversation, but quickly closed it, deciding that it was best to keep quiet.

Karmaletta noticed her flashlight was flickering as if it was running out of battery. She stopped and replaced the old ones. It turned back on and was extremely bright and Karmaletta smiled and continued to follow Adrastos.

Karmaletta, along with Adrastos, walked up to a brownish-red silo-like building. Karmaletta seen the white note paper. "Always watches, no eyes," Karmaletta read aloud.

After reading the note, Karmaletta's head began throbbing, and she couldn't remember simple things, like her name or what she was supposed to do. She began to go through aggressive coughing fits and she felt sick to the stomach. Karmaletta turned around and seen a tall, faceless man with tentacle-like appendages waving behind his back.

"RUN!" Karmaletta heard Adrastos yell.

Adrastos and Karmaletta ran in separate directions of each other. Karmaletta didn't stop running until she ran out of breath. As soon as her breath returned, Karmaletta's eyes widened as she realized Adrastos was missing. Feeling like she was being watched, Karmaletta turned around to see that the tall man was indeed watching her from a distance.

"I don't need Adrastos to protect me. I need to keep moving before that thing gets me," Karmaletta huffed "But I hope Adrastos is safe," Karmaletta walked away in the opposite direction of the Slenderman, continuing her small quest for another page.

Adrastos View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Mon May 20, 2013 3:34 pm

Adrastos stopped and looked behind him, noticing Karmaletta was missing, and so was the tall man. Adrastos became frustrated, believing that Karmaletta was taken by Slenderman. Even though Adrastos barely knew Karmaletta, he instictively began searching for Karmaletta's scent, forgetting about his objective to find the notes.

Adrastos ran back to where he and Karmaletta encountered Slenderman. He began to sniff the air for the missing jewel mane. Finding Karmaletta's scent, Adrastos ran toward the source of the scent.

Adrastos soon spotted Slenderman. Adrastos noticed that Slenderman wasn't watching him, but someone or something. A flash of black and white moved in the distance. "Karmaletta!" Adrastos thought, happy she was alright.

Reacting quickly and ignoring the intense throbbing pain in his head, Adrastos charged, aiming for Slenderman, not considering the consequences. Before hitting Slenderman, he disappeared. Adrastos looked around, confused about what just happened.

Adrastos ran up to Karmaletta. She smiled as if relieved. Hearing a twig snap, Adrastos turned around to find that Slenderman was right behind he and Karmaletta. Adrastos noticed Slenderman's tentacles were waving angrily. Adrastos pushed Karmaletta forward and they both ran into the same direction. While running, Adrastos looked over his shoulder to find that Slenderman was following them both.

Divine's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Fri May 31, 2013 5:18 pm

Divine wandered with her group, paying more attention to how she looks than what she was really supposed to do. Divine looked up from pampering herself and noticed the other two in her group were ahead of her. She quickly ran back up to the front of the group and lead the way. Divine looked on everything, wishing she would find a page. "I just want to get back home and get my beauty sleep. Good looks like mine need to be taken care of," Divine thought bitterly to herself.

Divine sat down and cleaned her mane and fur. She noticed that Ebony and Cato were silently whispering to each other. "They are probably talking about me," Divine thought happily. She opened a snack Vesper gave the group and began to eat it delicately.

Feeling refreshed and energized, Divine cleaned her mouth off and lead the group through the dark forest. She continued looking for a page, hoping that if she finds just one page, Ebony and Cato would give her all their attention. Divine noticed a page and dashed for it, but soon stopped in her tracks after realizing that there was mud around the tree it was on. "I am not going through that mud!"

Divine heard Cato sigh as he crossed the mud puddle and grab the page. When Cato returned with the page, Divine snatched the page from him, trying to take the spotlight. Ebony and Cato turned their back on Divine and continued on their way. Divine became very confused, not knowing why Cato and Divine turned away from her. Shaking her head in disgust, Divine ran up to her group.

Cato's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Mon Jun 17, 2013 4:57 pm

Cato grumpily walked through the forest with his group, mud still on his paws. The flashlight Cato always had with him was shining brightly as it hung around his neck. So far, Cato's group had two of the eight pages. "Hopefully, the others are having better luck than we are," Cato thought outloud. He noticed that Divine and Ebony nodded in agreement.

After two hours of wandering, Cato noticed that, in the distance, there was a beam of light, and it appeared to be moving. The group decided to head to the source of the beam. As the light beam grew larger, Cato saw that the light was coming from a flashlight. It Vesper and Lunar E! Cato, Ebony, and Divine greeted them. "Hello!" Cato beamed.

The group joined together and they all began to chat with each other. "How many pages have you found? We found two," Cato heard Ebony explain.

"We only found one," Vesper replied "Have any of you seen Slenderman?"

"No..." Cato answered. "Anyway, we should keep moving," Cato and the others continued trekking through the woods.

The large group came to a truck, abandoned right beside a very small, shack-like, yellowish building. Cato went around to the back of the small building to find that there was a page hung up on the wall.

Cato grabbed the page and went back to the group. A strong breeze came up as Cato began to feel nauseas. A branch snapped behind the group. Cato turned around, as did the others, to find that the tall, faceless man was right behind them.

Vesper's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Sun Jun 23, 2013 4:16 pm

Vesper stared at Slenderman, frozen in place. Suddenly, he ran off, the others well behind him. Vesper continuously checked behind him until he could no longer see Slenderman. The group stopped to catch their breath.

"Well then," Luna huffed.

Vesper looked at his sister, amusement filled his eyes. "I told he was real. Anyway, we should keep moving," Vesper told the group in a calm tone.

Vesper lead the group through the dark woods, his flashlight shining brightly. "We have four pages. Four remain, that is if the other two haven't found a page yet," Vesper had thought to himself. He and the group continued walking through the woods.

Looking at anything that may have a page stuck to it, Vesper didn't see one. He became tiresome and his desire to return home to his family grew. Vesper sighed and continued to search for what he needed.

The moon was at its peak as it cast light throughout the woods. Vesper was feeling a little tense. The air felt heavy and damp, as if a thunderstorm was threatening to approach. Something flickered ahead as it blew in the soft breeze.

A page! Vesper, along with the others in the group, dashed to the piece of paper. Ebony had snatched the page from where it was. "Five down, three to go, that is if the other two haven't found one yet," Ebony had proclaimed.

Vesper nodded, but he soon sensed motion that didn't come from anyone in the group. "We need to keep moving,"

The large group kept trekking through the woods. Vesper had noticed that Slenderman was following them at a distance. "Why does he keep following us?" Luna asked.

"I believe he gets angrier the more more pages we find and take. The more pages we find, the more Slendy wants us gone, out of tbese woods," Vesper explained. The group rushed through the trees.

Lunar E's View

Postby ~Sassy~ » Thu Jun 27, 2013 4:01 pm

Luna thought about what Vesper had said. "I would be angry as well if someone had just randomly walked into my home and took all my drawings from where they were. Slenderman just needs a friend to hug him when he needs it," Luna thought bitterly.

She continued to walk with her group. Luna didn't want to be in the woods, but instead, she wanted to collect feathers with her niece. "We should find Karmaletta and Adrastos. We would probably have a better chance of finding the remaining pages and leave this desolate place," Luna said.

"Fine, I guess," Divine agreed, "If it gets us out of this dreaded place,"

The others had nodded in agreement. Luna began to look for any traces of Adrastos and Karmaletta. Soon after searching, the group found two sets of pawsteps.

After hours of tracking, the group seen two beams of light. "Finally, that must be them." Luna huffed

The two groups merged together. "How many pages have you found? We found four," Vesper briefly asked before everyone began to chat with each other.

"We found three. Found one not to long ago right over there," Adrastos explained as he pointed in the direction where they found the page.

"That means there is just one page left!" Luna cheered.

"Correct, and it's about time. Dawn should be coming in a couple hours," Ebony replied.

Luna nodded in agreement. She could feel the morning air, knowing that the Sun would rise soon in a few hours. The single group began to continue and finish their quest to gather the eight pages.
