This is where I'll post all of my random poetry. These are totally random and just for fun or on an impulse, and I just make most of them up as I go along, so sorry if you don't like them. Please feel free to comment, critique, anything I'll do my best to post a poem a day, but no guarantees Naturally, there will be quite a variety of poems, for different moods and stuff. I hope that you can find at least one that speaks to you!

Hello all! Here's my first poem, it's about rain c: Please let me know what you think! I should be able to write more tomorrow, hopefully it'll be less depressing x3 Anyways, enjoy!

Rain Song



For the rain that falls
In valley green
To make the flowers grow
Where whispers through the wild trees
A breeze that speaks of worlds untold
Unknown, unwalked, unthought.
A breath of freshest, newest air
That comes after the rain.

For the rain that falls
To rivers wide
That flow through hill and vale
To oceans vast, made of the tears
Of a thousand cloudy days

For the rain that falls
To give new life
To everything that is
Whose tiny silver droplets fall
On blades of grass and flowers tall
And stone cities grey as the clouds
That cry in endless pain
For the earth below is born anew,
But the sky can never change

For the rain that falls
On lonely streets
To puddles in the road
Reflect the people walking by
With their heads down and rushing around
Umbrellas shed so many tears
Of the clouds that cry for people
For they know not what they do
They hate the rain that gives them life
Yet the sky is always true

But there are always those who know
To dance when clouds lament
For then the clouds cry tears of joy
And light and life are new
There are always those who know
The freshness of the breeze
After the rain, after the storm
And they are born anew
Yes, there are those who never change
Who never heal themselves
No matter how hard the rain can try
To help them peel away
The old dead leaves of years long past
To wash away the sorrow

But listen to the ones who know
The power of the rain
Those who've felt it wash them clean
Of the sorrow and the pain
Listen to the ones who know
There's a rainbow after the rain
