Storm opened his gaping jaws to yawn, but swiftly closed them as he heard a knock on the den wall. "Hm? Does someone want to play video games?" The MoonJewel curiously asked, pawing at his handsome violet hair, fixing it up just in case one of his friends were over. The pet outside the door spoke; "Package for... Storm M. Jewel?" It said, sounding like a small rat. Storm perked his ears, got on his BE Galaxy coat, slipped on his jeans, and flew out the door, to be greated by a small, scrawny rat. "Dog, I've got a job to do. Take the package or leave it," it mumbled, looking like it had somewhere else to be. "Oh, sorry," Storm started, "this is my package, thanks." The white and blue dog unshealthed a claw and opened the package, only to be seen by... "The retro headphones!" Storm exclaimed, quickly putting the buds into his ears, and enjoying it's new, cool feel. "Finally!" The MoonJewel screamed again, smiling happily.
Storm once again perked his ears. "To celebrate this, I'll go to the farm and help old man Sevens. Didn't he say he got a daughter?" He shrugged, then padded off onto the streets of Chicken Smoothie.
"Hey, watch it!" A chicken mumbled, carrying two hatchlings with it. They squeaked and spun around behind their mother, obviously afraid of the MoonJewel. "I-I'm sorry... Please forgive me... Here, take five Chicken Dollars, spend it on the chicks. You guys need it more than me," Storm drooped his tail and padded off, knowing that was some of his date money. The young male padded more into the streets, but was halted when a cat pushed its paw in the dog's face. "That'll be 15 C$ to get past 'ere. Lot'sa traffic be goin' on these days, and you young'uns get on the streets to much. We police need 'er pay," it said crossly but kindly at the same time. "I'ma very sorry, young'un, you'll understand soon. Lot'sa good stuff be happenin', though." Storm looked up at the big, bulky cat. It's silver coat beamed in the sunlight, and it's paws as big as the MoonJewel's face. "No need to apologize, sir, I understand. Keep up the great work," Storm smiled and handed the giant cat 15 Chicken Dollars. The cat nodded, took his own paw away, and let Storm pass. "You be safe now, 'ya hear!" It yelled back as storm clouds grew thicker.
Storm wrinkled his nose as horse scent drew nearer. Farmer Sevens was taking in all of his animals until he heard the MoonJewel's paw steps approaching. "Howdy there, Storm! You got here just at the right time, it looks like a massive lightning storm is going to be occurring," Sevens said, beckoning his tail towards the farm door. "By the way, did you meet my darlin', Shixn? She's a real beauty." Storm shook is head, and entered the door, to be greeted by a brown female dog with sleek, red hair, a plaid red jacket, and ripped jeans. "Hi there, Sevens! Who's... This? Does he like farming?" Sevens shook his head. His tail drooped, knowing Shixn wanted a farming-friend. "Sorry, hun, but this guy likes playing video games," The farmer sighed. Shixn and Storm both looked at each other. "Sevens, I remember when you let me play video games that one time. They were so fun, it was like farming but virtually," Shixn exclaimed. Storm gasped. "Farming Hero 2?" He asked, recalling a video game most like farming. "Yes!" Shixn squealed, her eyes brightening up.
"I just know we're going to the best of friends! Hey, um, what's your name?"
"Storm, hi there."
"I'm Shixn, but you can call me Shix if you want."
"But your name is so beautiful, I couldn't possibly change it..."
"Aww, shut up! You're such a gentleman."
"A gentleman? More like a hardman, I'd say."
"Hehe, hey wanna have dinner with us? Fresh pork!"
"Sure, thanks!"
