PLOT
Alice Rosario lives deep in the Crystalia Forest, a beautiful place in a world known as Crystalia. Crystalia is a place where all mystical creatures live, and for all intents and purposes it is basically the world of the Supernatural. Alice is part of the legendary "Rosario Sisters" an all-female Coven of Witches. The Rosario Sisters are the most powerful Witches in Crystalia and Alice is their youngest member. Alice is a fifteen-year-old Witch attending Hex Academy, an academy for young mythical creatures. Alice is one of the most popular gals in school. She is smart, funny, easy-going, and she's dating Ezekiel (Zeke) a young Fallen Angel. But there is more going on at Hex Academy than Alice is aware of, and she's about to get drawn into a Supernatural war that could ultimately destroy her. Zeke is secretly trying to destroy her in order to rise once more to become the gorgeous Angel he once was. Brett, a young Demon and the Headmaster's son is trying to harness Alice's power for himself and on top of all that, Alice begins to fall for Shane, a young Sorcerer with a human mother who, much to his disgrace, only got his mother's human genes and is therefore a powerless Sorcerer at Hex Academy. Can Shane help Alice evade both Zeke and Brett's attempts on her life and resist their unwanted attraction to each other? Or will this prove too much for either student to handle? Find out in Book 1 of 'The Crystalia Chronicles'

CHARACTERS (WIP)

*Alice Rosario- A young, 15-year-old Witch, Alice or 'Ali' is the youngest member of the legendary Rosario sisters. She is the possessor of the "Red Rose" which is the most powerful of the Roses, and specializes in love spells. She is a small, petite girl with dark mahogany curls and gem green eyes flecked with gold. She is next in line to become leader of the Rosario Sisters, and her 'Soul' is a black tomcat named Spellcaster.

Bridget Rosario- An 18-Year-Old Witch and one of the Rosario sisters, Bridget or 'Bridge' is the least liked of the younger generation of Rosario Sisters. She is a tattletale, a snitch, and can be very annoying. She possesses the "Blue Rose", and her 'Soul' is a White she-cat named Luna.

*Jamie Rosario- A seventeen-year-old Witch and the last of the Rosario Sisters' younger generation, Jamie is Alice's best friend. She is a mischievous girl with a knack for getting trouble and is secretly (With Alice's help) studying dark magic which is strictly forbidden. She possesses the "Black Rose" a very powerful rose with untold power, and her 'Soul' is a Raven named Wolf.

Jezebel Rosario- At three hundred some years of age, Jezebel is the leader of the Rosario Sisters Coven and Alice's older sister. She is the possessor of the 'White Rose' which is a rose almost as powerful as the Red Rose. Her 'Soul' is a black wolf named Akita.

*Isabella Finley- Isabella or 'Fin' is a seventeen year old Mermaid who befriends Alice. She is a sweet and intelligent girl who ends up helping Alice a great deal. Her 'Soul' is an Otter named Oyster/

*Headmaster Kringle- Don't let his age fool you. Headmaster Vincent Kringle is a powerful, ageless demon and father of Brett Kringle. He is a formidable, no-nonsense type of guy.

*Brett Kringle- The Headmaster's nineteen year old son, Brett technically isn't a student but he hangs around because of his father. Brett is a young Demon who constantly flirts with Alice, while secretly plotting to harness her power by destroying her rose.

PROLOGUE: The Burning Rose

Veridian City, Crystalia
Veridian Riverfront Hotel
Penthouse

Hopelessness. The only emotion Alice’s broken, shattered heart can conjure up. Despite the raging pain that filled her, she found herself unable to summon the tears that desperately wanted to fall. She was empty, numb, soulless. She wanted so much to close her eyes and turn away, but she can’t. Her gaze is riveted to the flickering flames that engulf the beautiful red rose. The air was filled with a sickening mixture of acrid smoke and sweet smelling petals, causing her to gag. The voice, however, yanked her roughly from her reverie.

“You were warned.” The voice hissed softly with cold amusement.

“I know.” She replied with equal softness, although there is no amusement in her voice. She doesn’t turn towards the voice. Her gaze is still locked hopelessly on the slowly withering rose. She can feel the power slowly fading from her body, the power that makes her one of the powerful Rosario Sisters. Pretty soon, Alice Rosario would be no more than a measly human and that was a fate a thousand times worse than death.

“I must admit, Alice, it has been a great pleasure taking the power from the Rosario Sisters’ youngest member.” The wicked voice snickers softly. Rising shakily, Alice turned to face the voice. The only light in the room came from the burning rose behind her, making it difficult to make out the tall, lithe man.

“I don’t care as long as you leave Shane alone, Brett.” She managed to grind out, knees threatening to buckle beneath her. The man’s eyes blaze a brilliant crimson and he steps forward. His teeth flash briefly as his lips twist into a cruel smile. He lifts one hand and the flame slowly engulfing her rose intensifies in both heat and light. With a cry of pain, Alice’s knees buckle and she falls to her hands and knees.

“ALICE, NO!” Shane’s voice fills her ears and she sees the gleam of triumph in Brett’s gaze just before she blacks out.
