A Winter Wonderland
OOMPH!
The snowball hit Juniper's face like a pebble hitting the ground. "Hey!" Juni shouted to his friend. "I wasn't ready yet!" The young bean was very excited, as this was the first time in all of his 5 years that he was able to see snow, as well as play in it. It was like a wonderland to Juni. He couldn't believe his eyes when he embarked outside to venture this new-looking world.
Earlier, Juni had the opportunity to go sledding for the first time, something of which he was scared of at first. But with much encouragement from his family, and one push down the hill, Juni was begging for more. The way he was able to speed down the hill gave Juni a feeling of invincibility and power. He felt like the king of the world. However fun all of these activities may have been, building a snowman, the classic winter play-time activity, would prove to be more difficult than he had imagined. The base of the snowman was easy enough, but as he was placing the head onto his snowman, the middle ball fell into the white abyss and was crushed to pieces.
This made Juni so upset that he started crying, and was then summoned inside for some nice, creamy hot chocolate.
Juni loved to see snow for the first time, and spending an entire day frolicking among the snowflakes certainly proved to be a memory that he will soon not forget, even with his young age and upcoming adventures.
