Well, I had a dream about this about a summer ago and (I almost forgot it completely) luckily, I wrote everything in detail in a journal and I find this one quite exciting. Of course, as all dreams are I only saw a part of it. But ooh~ It's a love story!!!
Eleanor is the main character. Her best friend is Amelia. They're about to get in to more trouble than they could ever imagine.
Oh, and the setting is in the future. Also when it comes up later: the name "Halia" I am pronouncing like this (hay•lee•a) Obviously I am not the best at that but hopefully you got it right.
Past Life
It is late in the afternoon in the middle of the square. Right next to the water fountain, a blond-haired girl stood behind a brunette with an angry expression on her face. Unfortunately, the brunette couldn't see because her back was turned so that she looked away from her.
"Amelia!" The blond-haired girl was most definitely mad at the brunette called Amelia.
The brunette girl responded to the name. "What, Eleanor?" She turned around and faced the other girl.
"Why am I over here again?" Eleanor examined the other girl's face- a face she knew too well, her best friend's face- and sighed. "Don't tell me some guys "forced" you to make plans that involved me."
Amelia looked at the ground and shook her head. "No...." She gradually stopped shaking her head and looked up straight into Eleanor's eyes. "Okay, maybe."
Eleanor blew up and stomped away a little and then came back. She finally got a good look at what Amelia was wearing today. She was wearing a form-fit black dress that had a zipper in the front zipped down to reveal cleavage- a look only she could pull off, not Eleanor. She also wore her new high-heeled boots that went all the way up to just below her knees. She wasn't going to admit to her that she looked like she could kick some major a** in that outfit. Her black rimmed glasses only added to that look.
Eleanor didn't put that much of an effort into her own outfit. She pulled on some boot-cut jeans with her old brown boots that ended at her ankle that had like a half an inch heel. She had on a normal t-shirt, as well, that was a dark olive green. Her hair was straight, so boringly straight compared to her friend's perfectly curled hair. Eleanor sighed again. "Fine. But what will we be doing?"
"Oh!" Amelia looked excited now. "That is a surprise. Even to me!"
Eleanor looked at Amelia and not for the first time, asked herself "What happened to my best friend? She's not the best book in the library." Amelia was always the dumb one while Eleanor always thought stuff through. I guess you could say that Amelia should be the blond one, not Eleanor as well as the glasses part. Eleanor sat down on the edge of the water feature. The splashing water misted her, but not to a point that it wasn't comfortable.
Amelia clapped her hands together. "But we have to hurry. We're supposed to meet..." She thought for a moment as she looked at her watch. "Now!" She grabbed her friends wrist, pulling her up, and yanked her off towards a tall building.
When they finally reached the building- which was where they were going- three well-built guys stood there. They were all wearing dark clothing and were looking around as if they were searching for something. Well, those two girls turned out to be that something.
"Hey guys!" Amelia waved her pink-colored fingernails at the group of men.
~~Well... I'll finish more later. I'm beat! SO tired..~~
