Welcome to my writing workshop. This is my personal thread for when I feel in the mood to write;
there will be a variety of different writings being posted here. I may use this as a place to store ideas
or character outlines. I would encourage you all to look around and maybe be inspired to start writing
your own novel / short story, but please, no stealing. Have a good day,

Ever feel.. lost? Like one moment your fine, smiling even, but then it hits you. As if you were standing
in fate's path, it coming barreling towards you and you simply refused to see it- Until the inevitable
happens. It hits you. And it leaves you broken on the floor.
But you deserve it, don't you? You had so long to get out of it's path, to make things right. But for
some reason, you just didn't open your eyes. Why didn't you open your eyes? Why didn't you make
things right while you still could? Everything is now lost, ruined, because you refused to see.
Ever feel like that?
She closes the book, slowly, feeling the crisp pages slip past her fingers. You can tell at first glance that this book was old; it's pages turned brittle and yellow, it's cover worn from use. Well, it hasn't been used until the last year, but the pages were often turned, revealing every blank page that hides the secrets not yet written. This book has been past down from the girls mother to her, and her only now being brave enough to leave her mark on its pages.
She sighs with the burden that she has now passed on to the book. That's why she loves to journal; all of her joys are forever marked in the book, and whenever her eyes stray to those words, she remembers it all. And when she marks her pain and regrets on these pages, it releases the weight of her burdens. But she has to be careful of those wandering eyes, who seek to breach the walls of the cover of this book, and see for themselves what lies beyond it.
Many hands have grabbed for it; many words have stabbed at her about it. She always falls back to it though; her safety net. It is the only thing she is sure about lately. Everything has been crumbling rapidly around her, desperate to pick up the pieces that won't fit back together. But that is life, and it goes on, however cruel or brutal it may be. However broken and breathless it may leave you.
