Hello! This is where I will keep my thoughts, ideas, and inspirations... whether it's from songs, just random, or from something I've been told, you'll find it here unless I actually find myself making a novel out of it. Then, I will move it to a different thread so I can continue it. So mostly, I will only post short stories here, unless I actually start writing a poem/song thing. That would be a rare event to experience.

The most important rules will be written in red. My system will be very simple. Follow the rules and you'll make Kitty happy. Break them...
Let's just go with this; you don't want to see that happen, so don't let them break. Not a single one of them. Got it? Good. Consider this your warning, and let's make it your last.

This is NOT a thread for advertising any type of writing on another thread- that means DO NOT post a link asking for people to read your stories. However, I will allow a few people to join me in my small space of a writing corner; see more information below.

Please don't just post random or hurtful things on this thread, random being things like 'I'm bored' or 'eifnaiekm' and hurtful being things along the lines of 'You suck at writing'... because, in fact, other people have feelings too and that just clogs up CS's server anyway. If I see any of this going around the thread, you will receive a warning written in red. Just because this rule is not a red rule does not mean that it isn't important and that it won't be noticed, because it is and it will.

While criticizing any stories, please be specific with what you are saying and say it in a way that implies you are trying to help, not just stomping on everybody's muse.

That is all I will include for rules for now- You ALL know that all of Chickensmoothie's rules apply. Remember, I read every post, so I'll always know when one is broken!

Wait... I've forgotten to explain the difference of being a regular viewer and being a member. Well, as a viewer, you can't post your own stories- advertising other threads by asking for readers, just posting the stories... whatever form. You can only offer compliments and criticism, bookmarking, checking back in, or nothing at all...

But as a member, you are free to do many more things. You can post your own ideas and short stories, also using Kitty's corner as a place to spend your time when you have an idea that you just can't seem to make into an actual story, or if you just feel like writing where you know you'll get criticism and feedback. However, a member still can't advertise their stories on other threads without special permission from me.

Hurry! There are only five spots in Kitty's corner for now- that means we only have a couch, two recliners, and Kitty's chair for now. But stick around, even if the spots are taken up; One of the members may become inactive or I might consider adding a few more spaces. Inactive? Yes. If a member does not post here for ten days or Private Message me with any reason they shouldn't be online, I will consider them inactive and reopen their spot for joining. Don't worry, though; If you accidentally go inactive, just respond to my PM(I'll send one to any member who becomes inactive) explaining why you were inactive, and I'll open a new spot for you to rejoin the group if yours was taken.

It doesn't matter if you make it fancy or not- we're all in the same corner! Besides, it doesn't matter how it looks- anything is acceptable, as long as it is appropriate for Chickensmoothie and you say that you will offer critique. ;D

Your placing among our members is defined by which piece of furniture you sit on- if you sit on a recliner, then I have chosen you to be a moderator. If you sit on a/the couch, then your just one of our regular members! The moderators help me make sure that everyone who posts is obeying the rules well- that's the only difference. It only puts more work on a member's shoulders, actually; in time, as I add more couches to my corner, I will also add more recliners. For now, the space you sit in on the couch will be undefined, since we'll squeeze five of you onto the couch before I appoint the two moderators, who will probably and most-likely be just two members at random.

Fury glinted in her eyes as I leaned casually against the island centering her kitchen, apple in hand, completely relaxed. What could she do to me? I knew that no matter how furious I made her, she'd still end up loving me more than anything in the end. I'd learned that far before now, which was why, even though I hated the mere thought of what I was going to do, I kept a straight face. For her. Even though she didn't realize it, everything I did was for my Annabelle.
"How could you even consider that, you idiot!? What about me? Had you not considered how I would feel about you setting off over the ocean on some stupid ship, trying to go clear across every ocean on some stuffing-brained bet? You could get killed out there! Especially on that boat you plan on going out there on. What are you going to eat? How will you keep away from ice? How will you haul that thing to all the different docking places just to do it? Why-" Gently, I lift my hand and cover her mouth with it, making her stop shouting. With every word, she had gotten even more hysterical, voice rising in disbelief... yet she still hadn't cracked. She hadn't started sobbing. I wonder... How does the woman do it? I could just barely keep myself from starting to cry, just because something I did caused her all this grief. Or something I was going to do, at that. Maybe she was just too shocked or something- I wouldn't know. It's not like I get girls any more than any other guy.
"Relax, Belle." I say, opening my arms. Women like to be hugged when they're mad, right? "My Firefly is the best ship around. She'll make sure the trip is quick and clean- she's a sturdy young thing. Never failed me for a heartbeat. Plus, I'm the captain- you know as good as any that me and Firefly together is bound to make for a successful trip." Yet her scowl only deepened, creating lines on her seventeen-year-old face. I sighed, dropping my arms from that stupid position and resting my hands on the black marble island. Outside, the sky stretched long and blank, moon and stars erased by town fumes. Honestly, that's one of the biggest reasons I ever accepted the stupid deal. I was sick for a nice, clear sky- one that was untouched by any fumes... or at least one where I could clearly make out constellations. Most men around the town preferred to keep strictly to their orderly businesses, but I was one of the five that had taken an interest in sailing.

This story isn't done- it's going to be a considerably long short story. This is as much as I've been able to finish, and I can't wait until I can add more! It's my first story from a guy's point of view... Ever. :O

Hai! My username is kall485_killjoy. Imma 'splain my UN if that's okietay. The first four letters are the beginning of my name. The 4 is my siblings. The 8 is the grade I made this account, and the 5 is just cause 5 is an awesome number and cause it's in the middle. The Killjoy is for my love of MCR as you can see in my siggie. Okay, moving on!

Yes, but I'll be nice. I don't like to be all mean. Mean-ness makes me sad. I'll do my best to post good criticism(?) comments.
