Yay, the after dance post is here!

Oh my word journal, the dance was so crazy!! Jake and Cody came by, obviously, so we could go to the dance. Jeremy had gone with Ethan to get his date, and for some reason he didn't say who it was. This was actually pretty suspicious, obviously. But I didn't push him, as it turns out I should have. -___- You'll soon see why (except you won't see, because you are a book, and books don't have eyes. Or a face, for that matter). Anyway, we went pick up Treble, and it was the only time I ever saw her without her earphones. I saw her eyes water a bit when she saw me and Jake, and Jenna and Cody, but she didn't even sniffle. I think she gulped a bit, maybe to choke back tears. She slid into the mini-van next to me, and I whispered, "Don't worry. Everything will be fine." Usually she probably would have snapped at me for thinking she might have been weak, but know she just looked at me with a watery smile and said, "With friends like you, of course it will be fine." Don't worry, she loosened up in the ride, smiling and laughing more and more, until by the time we got to school she was her normal, funny, awesome self. We told Jake's dad when to pick us up, and then he left. Then we walked up to the door to buy our entry passes, that were these bracelets that they sometimes put on you at amusement parks and stuff. At the booth was Mr.Bloxim, one of our coolest teachers. Sometimes we call him "Doctor" or "Doc". I don't know why. Sometimes Jake calls him Hermes, his first name. Mr.Bloxim teaches literature, and I just noticed he always wears this one funny little bowtie thingie... here, lemme draw him:

He saw's coming and he said, "Ah, one of my favorite crews. Treble, where are your earphones?"
And that he says jokingly. Since its literature, he doesn't mind that Treble listens to her tunes while in his class, because we spend most of the time actually READING. And its also cool that he doesn't call us Miss This or Mr. Whatever. He calls us by our first name or our nickname, if we have one. Anyway, he said, "Alrighty guys, pay up. Your in luck, I'm not the DJ in this event." Then Treble said, "Tell me about it!" And Mr.Bloxim said, "Hey, you didn't let me finish. If I was DJ, the entry price would have been A LOT higher!" To this we all laughed, and then he let us in. We arrived pretty early, and there were few people. There was even this one girl sprucing up a few of the decorations. Here, let me draw some more:

Her name is Anne, and she's kind of a perfectionist, and she's into decorating stuff and making things look better than before. I went over to her, and asked her what she was doing. "Oh, hey Dawn! You should have been in the decoration committee, your drawings would have made this place amazing! But, I guess it will have to do." Of course, I HAD to tell her what I thought of the decorating. "You're right. The decorations aren't good. They are AMAZING! You guys did fine without me. Loosen up and have some fun, the dance can't last forever, and you should be able to enjoy the product of your work." She looked at me for a sec, and then she smiled a big smile and said, "Yeah, its true. I hope you have fun too!" And then she brushed of some of the glitter that had fallen on her, and walked over to her friends that were standing around the refreshment table. After that, everything was pretty normal until a couple hours later. Jake and I had walked over to the refreshment table to get something to drink, and there was Sierra herself, but she was so busy harassing some body else, so she didn't notice me at all. The dog Sierra was harassing looked nice, but she also looked pretty shy. Sierra was saying somethings like, "Gawd, why is your hair so long and matted? Don't you know what the word salon is? If you do, then you should definitely visit one. And goodness me, what is UP with your elbows? Why are they so weird like that? And goodness, were do you get that stupid way of talking?" And the girl just shied away from her and mumbled some things, but that just made Sierra annoy her even more. Again, lemme draw the dog:

Actually, I thought she was pretty. I don't know WHAT is up with Sierra. I was about to jump in and stop her when another dog beat me to it. She had a stance that let you know she had a good level of self-esteem, and that she was pretty athletic. This is her drawing:

The dog stood in front of the one with long hair, and she said, "Sierra, leave Maya alone! She's smarter and prettier than you! She bilingual, and in case you didn't notice, her first language is Spanish! And, FYI, Sierra means "Saw" in Spanish!!" Then Sierra said, "Smarter and prettier? Says the girl that spends her day's rolling in unpurified, non-spa mud! I think you should shut up, Asker, and stop being such an idiot in life." Then the girl (Asker?) said, "Go be a female dog somewhere else, and stop ruining our good time!"
Then Sierra snapped, and said "If Maya had a backbone, you wouldn't have to fill in for the position!" And that's when Asker snapped. She lunged forward and punched Sierra right on her nose. That sent Sierra staggering, and then Asker pushed her onto the floor and started pulling Sierra's head fur. Until Jeremy came out of nowhere and the he saw what was happening. His eyes got bigger than plates, and he quickly pushed Asker off of Sierra. He looked at Sierra and then he looked at Asker, and he shouted at Asker, "What the heck is WRONG with you? Why would you do this Sierra? If she's seriously hurt, I'm going to hurt YOU! And I don't care if you are a girl, cause you sure don't act like it. Seriously, why would you hurt my girlfriend?" And that, my dearest journal, is why I should have pushed Jeremy. He is Sierra's BOYFRIEND? Whatever happened to family loyalty? "Your GIRLFRIEND? And when, exactly, were you planning to tell your very own SISTER about this?" I said as I stepped into the small circle that was forming around the scene. And that sure got Sierra up on her feet. "What? Jeremy, is it true? Is Dawn of the Losers really your sister??" Then I started seeing things in slo-mo. Jeremy looked at Sierra, then at me, then his eyes narrowed. And then he said the word's I had sworn I would never say about him or Jenna or Cooper. "Nope. She's not my sister. I have no idea what she's talking about." The exact words I promised I would NEVER say. Never. I would understand if it was Cooper saying it. But Jeremy... I was even closer to Jeremy than to Jenna, even if it was just by a bit. And here he was. Disowning me. "How can you say that??? I... I thought... How can you say something like that?? I thought family was supposed to be LOYAL!" When I said this, I turned around and ran away blindly. Down the halls, looking for somewhere to hide. The halls were so quite, it was kinda creepy. I finally found a janitor's closet that was open, and I slid inside. I sat on the floor and just plain cried my heart out. Of all the worse things that could happen, this was THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING! After a couple of minutes, I heard the door open. I expected the worst, but it was actually just Asker and Maya. Asker slid onto the floor next to me and asked, "Is Jeremy really your brother?" I said, "Of course, why would I lie. Well... actually... my parents adopted him and his twin sister and his little bro. So yeah, he is my bro." Then Asker said, "I'm really sorry. If I hadn't gone violent on Sierra, he would have never said that and we would all be happy." And Maya said, after sitting down with us, "And if I had a backbone, Asker wouldn't have had a reason to attack Sierra. So I'm sorry too." I looked at them both, and then I said, "Wait, I don't even know your names. And you don't know mine." They said, "Actually we do know your name. We loved your art project from early this semester. You're Dawn, of course." That kind of surprised me. People I didn't know knew me? "Well then... uh, thanks. I guess I know your names from earlier tonight. Asker and Maya, right?" Maya said, "Si, you're correct." We stayed there talking for some more time. I didn't feel as good as when I came to the dance, but I felt better. But I'm certain I won't feel better until I have made Jeremy accept me as his sister again, or until he and Sierra break up. Which ever comes first. And hopefully they will both come, starting with the second option. Which I think I can make happen, with careful planning.

I love it! Just realised I never posted on this post, so it took me a while to find it X3
Wow, you used all my suggestions for the characters -- I'm flattered! I think this is a really good piece of writing, especially the latest entry -- lots of drama, playing on accent, the descriptions were fantastic ^-^
Keep going with this, I'm an absolute, positive stalker ^^

OMG, journal, today was MAD crazy! Okay, so today is the last day of school, and tomorrow is the mini-party thing they have in each classroom, celebrating Christmas and the end of school, and stuff. Yeah, that's besides the point. So today I'm talking with some of my friends, and its important that I mention Chase. Chase was there, and we were talking with Treble, Joseph, Asker, Maya, Cody, and Jenna. Yeah, and so Maya is teaching us some Spanish words, like "Amanecer," which means Dawn (cool, huh) and "Sol," which means sun, and "Luna," which means moon. Yeah, yeah, whatever. So anyway, I heard Jake coming down the front steps of the school, so I turn around, and I see him stop short. His face was almost confused, then angry, then it looked furious. He stormed down the steps, took my hand, and said "Come on Dawn. My dad promised me we could go somewhere today. I was thinking this cool arcade downtown." Then Cody chimed in saying, "Oh, do you mean 'Three Strikes'? I love that place!" Then he turned to Jenna and said, "The whole place is glow in the dark, and it has almost every video game known to animal kind!" This got everybody excited, but then Jake said, "Wait, I don't think all of you could come. Treble could come with us, and maybe Joseph, but if Joseph come there won't be room for both Asker and Maya." Then Joseph said, "Nah, its cool. Teal and I were planning to go to that pizza place across the street from the very arcade your talking about. Pretty coincidental, don't you think? I'll go tell her about this, she'll be thrilled." And then he sprinted off. Jake then said, "Cool, so that leaves space for Asker and Maya. Come on guys." Then Chase, who hadn't said anything yet, said, "Hey wait a minute. You guys know ME longer, but you take Asker and Maya into account and not me? You know what I think?" when he said this he turned to Jake, stared at him for a moment, and then said, "I think you are AFRAID of me! You think I'm going to steal Dawn away from you, when the fact is that I can't steal something that was originally mine!" And that, of course, made me redder than a tomato, and my light fur color did nothing to hide it. Jake then said, "If she's so yours, then why did she go to the dance with ME? Face it, I'm not afraid of you in any way or form!" Then Chase dropped into a fight position and said, "Prove it." So Jake lunged forward, and attacked Chase! Chase struggled for a while, but eventually Jake pinned him down. Then Jake lunged forward, and it looked like he was going to bite Chase on the shoulder. This was when Cody started shouting, "Jake, are you CRAZY?? If you bite him, he'll..." But he didn't get to finish his sentence, because Jake DID bite Chase's shoulder, and deep enough to draw blood. Maya automatically covered her mouth with her paws, and she started murmuring something that sounded like "Ay Dios mio," which she taught us meant "Oh my God." But then Chase started twitching and trembling and stuff. This got to Cody, for some reason. "Oh no oh no oh no oh no... Jake, you idiot! Now what are we going to do??" Then Jake said, "Easy. We tie him to a tree." This, of course, sounded bizarre to all of us, except, it seemed, to Cody. "Oh yeah, right," was all he said before he and Jake picked up Chase and dragged him to the woods that are behind our school. Of course we all had to see what "Tie him to a Tree" meant, so we followed them. Turns out they literally meant tie him to a tree. They took a steel rope out of Jake's backpack and tied Chase to a tree. Then, while everybody was shouting and stuff, I noticed something. Chase's canines, or fangs, were getting longer. Seriously, it was scary creepy, enough to make me scream. Chase kept changing and changing until he looked like this:

Then we ALL started freaking out. Except Jake and Cody, apparently. Jenna asked Cody what happened to Chase, and when she asked that we all shut up. We wanted to know, of course. Cody then gave Jenna one of those guilty, "Yeah-I-stole-the-cookies" kind of smile, and then he started talking. "Okay, so you guys aren't going to believe me, but... Jake and I are half dragon. Jake can actually transform into a dragon, but the dragon genes were hidden in me. If all of us took a decent science class, we should all know that means I have the genes but they don't show. I look like a perfectly normal dog, and I always will. Sometimes, if a dragon-dog bites a normal dog deep enough to draw blood, the normal dog's DNA from his blood will mix with the DNA of the dragon-dog's saliva, and the normal dog will also turn into a dragon-dog. I don't know if I can do that, because I'm not the violent one, but Jake HAS bitten a couple of people. Not everybody goes dragon, but many DO." Chase, who had come back into a state of normality (as normal as he could be, looking like a dragon and all), started shouting, "So what you're saying is that I'm going to look like this FOREVER??" Cody then said, "No. As I said before, Jake can transform into a dragon dog. Jake, if you please..." Jake said, "Ugh, fine." Then he started transforming much in the way Chase had, except he looked much more controlled. He ended up looking like this:

Jake then said, "All dragon dogs can go from normal to dragon and back. We tied you into the tree until you can do it normally." Chase then said, "And how long will THAT take?" Jake said, "As long as you want it to take. If you want we can leave you here to figure it out yourself, or I can tell you how to do it." Then Jake went back to his normal state, and Chase glared at him, then asked "Then will you TELL me how to do it?" Jake said, "Ugh, fine. All you have to do is wish to go back to your normal state, easy as that." "What? What else do you think I'm wishing for, you idiot?? Seriously, if I had a dollar for every time I wanted you dead, I'd be RICH!" While he was screaming that and other stuff, he slowly started going back to his normal state. Normal sized fangs, normal sized claws, no wings, blah blah blah. Then Jake said, "Congrats, you're normal again. Can we leave now?" Then Chase looked down and saw that his paws were normal, and he said, "Oh. Well, could some one untie me, please?" Then Asker said, "Sure, we can do that," and then untied the knot, which was pretty impressive, since I had never seen such a complicated knot. Then, once she untied him, she said, "Well, that was an interesting experience. Seeing not one but two dogs transform into dragons and then back to normal. You don't see that everyday." And I agree, you don't see that every day. Random life: 2 Dawn:0 WIYL, journal.
