When writing a story on my tablet, I use an app called Notes Lite. It cost a bit of money, but it's invaluable to a writer as all edits are automatically saved and there are no limits to how many words, documents, etc. one can have.

This is my intro to my story but im not sure if i like it..help!?!?!

I stare nervously at the square box in front of me. My whole family, like thousands more around the country, gather around the television waiting for our president's face to appear. The television switches on, Amazing Grace plays and we wait, anxiously.
''Hello all!'' Exclaims the President elected 3 years earlier. He beamed happily into the camera. It felt as if he was staring right into your soul, seeing your secrets, your fears.
''Our way of life is dying, being destroyed and corrupted, It started with the floods that wiped out a third of the world’s population then came the disease leaving just 2 billion. But our scientists belive they have found a way to reverse all of this. We are looking to crate the perfect race, we are starting with two, The Adam and Eve if you will…”

I have to do an assignment for a class, where you have to write 3 journal entries as someone on the Lewis and Clark expedition. I turned to my friend ( who is a writer as well ) and we just had the same look on our faces. I'm so excited to get some ideas to start writing!

I'd like some help, if you guys don't mind.. I'm trying to write a story on this app (Episode Interactive) the plot doesn't need to be that detailed, I can fill everything in later, I just need it to be captivating.
Does anybody have any ideas? I have a bunch, but when I try to write them, they kinda just... melt away, haha.

I tried doing that once, after getting obsessed with the app for like a week. You must be more patient than I, because it took me like four hours to complete just the first episode. What I found with that app is that it doesn't really lend itself well to fantasy, so I would go with something more realistic, or just mild, mild fantasy that takes place in the real world.

Hey, guys. I was wondering if you could help me come up with a name for this group in my story Climb that Wall. Here's a brief description, straight from chapter two.

"It’s basically the kingdom’s secret police. I set it up to keep an eye out for things such as this cult. Our job is to track it down and annihilate it as quickly as possible. There are branches all over the kingdom, mainly in the small, backwater villages and in the big cities. This is the entrance to the main headquarters.”
“Small villages and big cities? What do they have to do with each other?”
“Both are good places for a rebel group to hide. They’re also good places for the ‘secret police’ to hide.”
“We’re a rather large group, spanning most of the kingdom. Most of us are mages, seers, or spies.”
“Most of our spies were once accomplished assassins.”
