If you aren't online for a long time, do you forget what is happening in your story/get that dreaded "Writer's Block?"

Yes, so much. I've actually quit on so many stories because of it, especially with Writer's Block (WB). I don't really forget about my stories easily, though. It would have to be (at the least) half a year for me to completely forget what's going on. WB is my absolute worst enemy in writing. My new years resolution is to finish at least one story. >_>

Also, I changed my username :3. It used to be dearina, but now it's "Dïamond".

yes. I am mostly online a lot, but sometimes I forget about a story I was writing and don't work
on it for quite some time. I remember last summer I was writing a gravity falls story and I was so
into it I got eleven or twelve chapters done and then I just completely forgot about it.

my laptop just has these moments where it's like "hey, I've been on a while. I think I"ll shut off now."

-.- Right in the middle of a school project, but I couldn't save it because of hte program I was using and..

Yeah. Now I save like 100000 times every minute so I don't loose anything

for my projects I usually keep two copies, one on a flash drive, and another on google docs. google docs is a great tool because it saves automatically every few seconds, and you can load it anywhere you have an internet connection. plus, it's totally free!

^^ Google Docs literally saved most (all) of my writing! I'd decided to keep it on there and word, but word just wasn't liking me and literally self-deleted all of my work. I don't mean it just crashed and I lost what I'd just done. It deleted all of the files and kept on telling me "File Blah Blah Blah is unavailable" and all I could think was how lucky I was to have Google Docs! Use it guys, it's a life-saver c:

      *I meant Google Drive xD

I always use google drive too! Partially because my main computer is a chromebook and drive is pretty much all I can use, but it still is quite good. Of course, I'd probably lose everything constantly if I used something that doesn't auto-save, so I guess there are some downsides to drive. (Just clarifying that Google Drive and Google Docs are the same thing, they renamed it to Drive.)

On a completely different note, my school is doing something where students can submit creative writing pieces and the school will make a book of short stories (They have to be 3-12 pages long.). I'm so excited, as this will probably be the first time I ever get something (sort of) published! I've got a ton of ideas already, although haven't actually started working at all, and I've only got a bit less than a month, so I'd better got to work!

For school last year, we used google drive A LOT. I go on there for like .. what's it called -.- I can't remember, but anyway, I always see my projects from last year and it feels like FOREVER ago. Then I remember how much I liked that class...
anyway.
It is a good place to store stuff, I'll admit. Google is coming in strong XD Except for google+

My new story!

"In the year 2567, the world fell into an economic depression far worse than the Great Depression of 1930. Many people were forced to evacuate their homes to live on the streets, while others fought for their lives daily. The rich became the poor, and the poor starved to the point of emaciation and death. The human way of life is dying, and the only way to save it is to create the perfect generation. The Government has selected one hundred kids, fifty boys and fifty girls to be placed in the facility. The facility will be put in place to teach the children harsh ways of life, to deter them from making the same mistakes past generations have."

Comment what you think! How should it start? Also, i'm looking for someone to help me write this!
