Cats in real life don't have parficularly hard tails, so probably not. xD

Literally the only reminder that they're dogs in my diary is an occasional mention of a tail or ear flicking, and Apollo at one point acting as a shepherd dog. :P

Personally I would view the creatures of my diary to be animals. Humanlike animals, sure, and it does make sense that you dont have a diary about actual animals that do actual animal things.
but that's just me

I usually have my characters be fantasy creatures. I find that working with them are pretty easy once you have done enough research

I have challenged myself... too much? I'm writing a new diary where the main character is a college student. (Whoo! First college student who keeps a diary!) I'm not in college, and I don't have any close friends/relatives who are in college, so this might be hard to write. At least I'm thinking outside my comfort zone/the box.

Althea (from the Beaker) is in college, actually. I was meaning to imply that through the whole fact that they have subjects they specialise in. (aka majors.) Of course, I didn't actually say that...

Dakota is a highschool student, but I don't go to highschool yet, so it's pretty hard with some stuff XD

I imagine my characters as humans with dog features. The ears, tail, maybe a long snout or maybe now. I'm not fully sure.
