If it is a book that you've already written, then no. IF however, once the contest is ended, and you would like to build a book/longer story around it, then that would be fine.

Yes, that's what I meant. I decided my story "Th Burning Rose" would make an awesome book and since I'm an aspiring Author anyways this contest is the perfect motivator
