I blinked, flipping it over, and saw another note scribbled on the back. It was a little younger handwriting, and I recognized the color { like I did with Secrecy }

I sighed, looking around. Both of my friends were gone. I was alone with only Fox.
Glancing down at my paws, I started shaking uncontrollably. Voices were ringing in my head. Voices from the past. Voices from... Now? The future? I wasn't sure. But suddenly, with no warning, I fell unconscious, and into a dream that totally scared me for life...

No, we have to go this way! It's the only safe home for her!
Autumn, I don't care what's the only safe place for her! She's going to my sister's!
No, the voice growled, running my way. I blinked, looking at them.

Autumn glared at the dog. Zander, I don't care if it's not where you're going. I'm keeping her safe until I reach their home!
Zander growled. No, she's coming to my sisters!
I'm done with you! Autumn cried out, running in her direction. Zander and I looked up, and I chased after Autumn. When Autumn stopped for a brief second, i looked at the puppy, in a dark blue blanket.
They looked up at Autumn as she ran across the street and into an empty alley. It's ok, sweetie, she whispered in the puppy's ear. The puppy looked at her, pawing at her ears. Autumn laughed, smiling. Oh, Cesta, she whispered, putting her hand under her head. I don't want to leave you, she whispered, and her eyes filled with tears. She set Cesta down, and took something out from her pocket. I blinked, staring at the necklace she was putting on the little puppy. It... It was my silver necklace!!
I'll always remember you, she whispered, slipping it over her head. She picked her up again, and ran in a direction that confused me for a second, then I followed, curious, running after her. She froze, glancing around, then ran to a home that looked a bit run-down, but when she entered, I could see why. David? she called out. I blinked. That was my dad's name!!
Yes, Autumn? David asked, stepping out of the shadows.
What is it? And what are you carrying?
David... I need you to take her.
Why?! Autumn, you know I can't take her!
Then I know someone who will, she said, backing out and running down the street. As I chased after her, the street slowly became familiar. She froze, knocking on the door. Rue?! Are you up?!
A dog opened the door, and her eyes widened.
Autumn, what is this?!
I stared. That... that was my mom!! WHAT IS GOING ON?!
A-A baby. I can't care for her. Rue, will you please take her? Her name's Cesta.
Rue covered her mouth, and nodded. Of course! But... Should she remember her old life?
Autumn shook her head. No. When she wakes up in the morning, she'll look like a different dog.
Rue nodded. So... Her name can be Alex, then...
Autumn nodded, hugging Rue. Thank you, she whispered, before running off.
Rue smiled, backing away, cradling the baby. I stared after her. That was my home she was in. That was my mom. That was my dad. That...
I stared, as the truth started to sink in.

I awoke with a start, and glanced in my paws. Fujon. You made it in, again, stupid journal. I touched my silver necklace, and then my golden locket. It suddenly popped open, and as I gazed into it, I saw a picture of a tiny puppy and Autumn. I swallowed, knowing that dog was me. Everyone else was asleep as I closed the locket. The truth sank back in. Memories of my true mom and dad. Being called Cesta. Remembering a deep blue blanket with a moon and stars. I bit my tongue, sitting down on the haystack.
I stared at the ground, tears stinging my eyes. I went to sleep, slowly and silently, crying myself to sleep.
Oh, of course. Silhouette by Owl City doesn't play when I need it the most for this entry. -.- Anyways, I know it's sorta hard to read Fireivy's note to Alex/Cesta, so this is what it says:
