Hello Everyone. First of all I want to apologize for my lack of being here. I'm closing down The CS Gazette for now. I'm just not here enough to be reliable. I'm working three jobs [plus what else I can find], full time college student and just dealing with Adult Life [Seriously kids, don't rush to grow up so quick!] and falling into my emotional breakdowns. I Love CS [and The Gazette] but I cannot ask you all to do all the work and I barely am here to answer questions or even post the paper [I come on to check new pets/items and then I poof]. I barely have the time to write my parts, or heck even come on here anymore. Halloween is my favorite event and the whole time I found maybe 15 tokens because i simply didn't have the time. Occasionally I may be on for 30 mins-3 hours [the most one day only because a class was canceled] but overall its a quick 5 mins and most days I didn't adopt until hours later, almost forgetting. I'm really really sorry but I just can't do this. I'm not Quitting CS because I love my pets too much and I adore all of you that have helped and stood by The CS Gazette. I'm just really Sorry. I hope you do not hate me and please know like I said, you are all amazing and thank you so so much!

I'm not quite sure how to put this but I have to say that i'm very disappointed. I didn't reply to your pm because i didn't want to sound harsh but the only thing that isn't working in the gazette right now is you : / Everybody else was doing their job and trying their bests to get the gazette done every time.

The system I put in place works fine, the only thing that doesn't work is if the owner doesn't come online to send assignments or even post the paper. I don't understand why your first reaction should be "Let's quit!". We are enjoying ourselves with the paper and are perfectly capable to keep it running without you ^^; I personally think your first reaction should've been that you can't keep it running but would like to give it to someone who can keep it running until you can come back to pick up your job.

It's a little unfair imo to close something down that other people are liking just because you don't have the time ^^; I'd gladly take over the gazette and run it while you can't, i have been doing that for 2 months anyways. Basically all things that went wrong the past 2 months is because you don't have the time, not because the staff isn't functioning. Even people on the tumblr are saying that, i've gotten 3 anon message of people saying that i should take over because i'm doing the work anyways <.<

So yea, basically, i'd love to take over and keep the gazette going, i'm sure everybody else is still enjoying the paper and doesn't want it to be closed ^^; It's not that hard to get that done, i just need the front page and the gazette edition front page assigned to my ownership which can be easily done by reporting them.

Dwarf... It's obvious they love this paper, and it's not at all their fault that life caught up to them. It's not a "forever" closing, and Wolf made it perfectly clear that they know they're unreliable as well as very sorry about having to close the paper.

Wolf also did not blame the staff for this closing down, but themselves many times. I believe they've done a wonderful job at what they've been doing and I understand the reason they shut it down for now. I'm a junior in High School and right now the trimester ends in about a week so I've got two papers to do as well as a bunch of random final assignments that need to be finished or I will fail the classes, and it's very stressful. I imagine having to pay for your own schooling is even more stressful, as well as those jobs they work and all the other random class-related stress.

Saying that it's "unfair to close something down that other people are liking just because you don't have the time" is a pretty childish view I'd say. People do have their own lives out side of the internet, and sometimes things like College and schooling trump an online news paper made from peoples free enjoyment.

It's not necessarily fair to place all the blame on Wolf either. There are some people who do submit things late or take up a job and don't finish them due to not starting them ahead of time. The staff as well as the owner is equally as responsible to keep a form like this afloat.

I don't hate Wolf, and I don't think that they deserve to be placed with all the blame, but that's just my opinion. These sorts of forms are very hard to keep track of, especially when other people are off and on constantly.

I'm sorry if I came off a little irritated, but I'm disappointed that they had to shut it down as well but I still understand the reasons. I don't think it's fair to ask them to hand the paper over to your hands if they haven't asked you personally to take care of it for them.

@Dave - I've been running the gazette for the past 2 months ^^; Not Calicowolf. So the wonderful job they have been doing...that was me. The only thing calico really did since the paper was brought back was 2 small parts of her own reviews and posting the gazette ^^; I even put it together while that isn't even my job. I stepped up more then once to get things done.

Ever since calico decided to bring it back i put a lot of time and dedication into this. I also have work, i also have a life. I still got it done. Even when people dropped out and couldn't do it, i wrote their reviews.

It's unfair to me that my hard work is being shut down while i've clearly handled it two months in a row. You can view that as childish if you want, but it really isn't ^^; I've put so much into this that i don't want it to die right now and that i find it unfair to close it down just because 1 person doesn't have the time. There are so many other options that could be looked at instead of shutting it down. Look at the front page. I wrote that so that we could prevent this. And even splitting up the work didn't work because calico can't come online. And that's fine, but why again is it a logic decision to shut down the gazette while i could easily take over? after all, i've been taking it over already anyways, all that's missing is the first posts of the threads. It's quite frustrating for me that all my work is being put down in the gutter. I thought i was co-owner for a reason, to take over when the owner can't ^^;

So sorry, but i don't agree with your statement ^^; You don't know all the facts, you don't know the behind the scenes and i do :3 I don't appreciate that you call me childish though, you could've phrased that a little more polite. Also, please don't call me Dwarf. My username is DaDwarf.

Either way, i'm not going to wait until the Gazette opens again. I think i've had quite enough of this paper.


Edit; The paper was done on the first of november -> viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1462314&start=1490#p60586592 You can check the last time i edited the thread, that was only for a spelling check. The only things missing are Calico's reviews. I pm'd her on that same day and she ensured me she would post it and add her reviews. It's now the 15th of November and it still has not been posted. Just wanted to add that.
