*Looks through phonebook* Oh man, thanks. That compliment smacked me right in the face; I'm still reeling. I just tried re-reading one of the Warriors books, Sunset, I think, which used to be my favorite, but I can't get through them anymore. I quit reading them a long, long time ago; I stopped before I finished the third series. But I still love the concepts, and the ideas, and the social structure of it. I think about it, and love it....but the books themselves are just too young for me, now. It's a sad thought, that I've outgrown them, but a couple people have commented on here that I write better then the Erins, and that though they weren't interested in the books anymore, they liked my writing. That's what I'm trying to get at, here; give the older Warriors fans some nostalgic, readable, information straight from my brain to the internet....so thanks, I guess, for the comment, Kat. It means a lot. <3

pfft, I'm just getting started

well, my favorite book is is New Prophecy: Midnight. that's actually the first Warriors book I read, I got it for my seventh birthday, and i read it all the time x3 but yeah, I've kinda... how should I put this... gotten a little bored of the books, like the Erins don't put much thought into them. They really lost the originality of all the characters, except, of course, the amazing Mousefur.
but the concept, like you said, is the key to ever even starting to like the books. how the Clans are made, formed, and all that jazz. that's mainly why I like your novel, is because if really shows everyone's personalities and thoughts, and not just mooning over battles and fighting all the time. the details are AMAZING, unlike the Warriors books, where they can't really show that much detail for all the young readers that read them. they had to stay simple, and your novel has broken that simplicity barrier. through and through. it lures you in and keeps you going, instead of dropping off at some point and then bringing you back later on.
personally, I actually really like Sunpaw. he has just SO MUCH personality to him, which makes me laugh and think "OH NO HE DID-N'T!" all the freaking time. you should see me some days. in the one chapter where they are fighting in the apprentices den, I was like, "GO CHERRYPAW!" and then I nearly fell off my bed reading about Sunpaw and Cherrypaw's comebacks. C:

EDIT: aha! I found something else! Stormyfang said the apprentice who won wouldn't have to clean the elder's den, but there is no elders! BWAHAHA! lol, sorry. I had to redeem myself. .^.

Thanks, Real. I hope someday I can. Right now, it's practice, practice, practice. And when I'm an adult, with an interesting concept I come up with, who knows? I'm really surprised at how many people commented on all my chapters, and my writing; but I'm grateful. It's given me a giant ego boost I probably didn't need xD. Huh, jerky? Can you give me examples? Just tell me which ones you think are the worst, so I can see what I did wrong. And don't worry, the nit-picky comments are the best, and usually end up being the most important, in a book or novel. ^^

Rose, Moonz, everyone...seriously, thank you so much. I can't write how much your compliments mean to me; I'd have stopped writing this a long time ago if I thought no one liked it. It's a major flaw with my writing, it depends a lot on my ego--which is always inflating and deflating randomly. But it really warms the cockles of my heart when I see my story's bumped up on the "My Posts" list because someone commented. It's the best feeling in the world (right after eating chocolate ice cream). <3
