~A Dogs Dream 2 ~
Later that day……………

“Come on Happy! We are going to the police station.” Abigail’s mom said. *Happy wakes up and his tail wags* “We have to go pick up Abigail from school” Abigail mom said putting a leash on Happy.*Abigail’s mom picked up Abigail from school* “Hey Happy! How are you?” Abigail said smiling and petting Happy’s head* *Happy wagged his tail when he saw Abigail*
Later at Police Station………………..
“Hello officer.” Abigail’s mom said. “Hello, are you Abigail and Happy?” The officer said to Abigail. “Yes. We have an appointment with… Officer Howard?” Abigail’s mom said. “Yes, he is expecting you. This way please!” The officer said to Abigail and her family. * The family saw a waiting room* “Please wait here.” The officer said kindly. “Okay” Abigail said.
After waiting for about 10 minutes……..
“Officer Howard is ready to see you.” The officer said coming in. “Thank you.” Abigail’s mom said to the officer. *The family went inside a neatly done office.* “Officer Howard?” Abigail’s mom called out. “Over here” Said Officer Howard. “Hello, you must be Abigail and Happy. And you must be Abigail’s mom. I am Officer Howard. The top K-9 police dog expert. Or so called TK-9PD. (Top K-9 Police Dog Expert)” Officer Howard said. “Nice to meet you. This is Happy, Abigail and I am Abigail’s mom.” Abigail’s mom said shaking hands. “Nice to meet you.” Officer Howard said. “So where do we start?” Abigail said. “We start with…” ‘Lesson number one!’ Happy continued in his mind. “Over here, we have to see if he is good with smelling different kinds of bombs.” The officer said heading into the room.

“Happy, can you smell anything?” The officer said to Happy. *Happy sniffed and instead of sniffing the bombs, he sniffed out the steak at the canteen. The officer was mad when Happy toke a fallen steak in the trash can. “Bad Happy. If you want to be an officer dog you have to smell and behave.” The officer then toke the meat from Happy and pulled him to Lesson number 2. “Alright Happy. This one is easy. All you have to do is obedience. Just listen to me and not strangers.” The officer then ordered Happy to come, halt, bark, stand, sit, lie down, roll over and Happy did Come, bark, sit and lie down only. “Alright Happy… I guess you failed both. So we can’t continue. We can’t find a spot for you to fill in.” The officer said sadly. *Happy whimpered and put his paw on the officer’s knee when he bent down.
The chief then came in and asked what was going on. *The officer explained everything that had happened* The chief wondered and called Abigail and her family to come in the office to talk about Happy. They then came out smiling. *Happy wondered why* “Guess what Happy? Chief found a perfect spot for you on the “K-9 Police force!” Abigail said happily. *Happy jumped up and licked Abigail’s face. “You are going to be the Spotter.” The chief said. “It means a Spotter dog means that he stays near the police officers to observe anything around them. It’s a perfect job for Happy!” The officer said happily and got a uniform for Happy to wear. (Well, looked like it is true! I did not become a police dog but at least I can sniff out steaks to eat! ) Happy wondered

~Amelia gets a puppy~

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Amelia. Ever since she was a little girl, she had always wanted to own a puppy. Her parents reminded Amelia that she already owns a pony, a bird, a kitten, 2 turtles, and 5 fishes. But… a puppy? Her parents do not agree. They say that it is too much work to do for a young girl like Amelia and it’ll bring much more work to their maids. Cleaning the poo, taking it for walks, feeding it, cleaning it, and playing with it to keep it fit and healthy is too much work. Amelia’s parents are very rich. They live in a mansion and has 2 maids. Amelia’s parents are against Amelia having a puppy, so Amelia says she would like to have a puppy as a present for her birthday next weekend. They said that they will think about it. Amelia does not want them to ‘think about it’ so she told her parents saying she does not need a bicycle if she gets a puppy. “Amelia, are you sure you want a puppy?” Amelia’s Mom asked. “YES! I DO!” Amelia answered back excitedly. “Very well, then... We will go to the pet store first thing in the morning.” Said her Dad. “YAY! Thanks Mom! Thanks Dad!” Said Amelia more excited.

…THE NEXT MORNING…

“Alright. Let’s go, Amelia.” Said Amelia’s parents. “What pet store are we going to go to?” Amelia asked. Amelia then soon suggested that they should go to the pound to adopt one instead of buying one to save some money. “You will waste even more money because you have to get it vaccinated, spayed and let it have injections, Amelia. It’s better if we just bought one from a pet store.” Said Amelia’s mom. Amelia nodded and just went to the pet store near their house instead.



“PetWorks! My favorite pet store! They have the most puppies up for sale!” Amelia shouts excited and ran into the pet store with her parents following behind her. They saw many cute puppies like a Poodle, a Chihuahua, a Bull Mastiff, a Pomeranian, a German Shepherd, a Border Collie, an English Bulldog, a Cocker Spaniel, a Siberian Husky, a Jack Russell, a Great Dane, a Dalmatian and a Japanese Akita and so much more! “All of them are so cute!” Amelia said thinking which puppy to buy. She decided and said that she wanted a Japanese Akita. Her parents informed the caretaker and soon the caretaker placed the puppy in a box, ready to be taken home. Amelia held the box gently in her arms while her parents paid for the puppy.

…BACK IN THE MANSION…

Amelia opened the box inside their mansion excitedly. The puppy barked, jumped out and ran around, breaking one of the mom’s expensive vases. Mom got mad and shouted that the puppy has to guard the house from outside. Amelia whined and placed the puppy outside. “Your name now is Snowball.” Amelia told the puppy smiling happily. Amelia gave the puppy food and water before walking back inside the house to sleep.



…THE NEXT MORNING…

Amelia woke up to the sound of her parents outside talking to a police officer. Amelia walked outside to see what was going on. Her mom told her that there was robbery case going on around. So mom and dad always make sure the security alarms are turned on and that the doors are always locked up.

…A FEW YEARS LATER…

“Time to sleep, Amelia! Go to bed. It’s late.” Told Amelia’s Mom. “Okay, Mom. I’m going to bed. Goodnight, Snowball!” Amelia said to her dog from her window. Snowball barked as a reply and Amelia went to sleep.

...3:28 AM THAT NIGHT…

Amelia and her parents woke up to a loud banging sound. “What’s that sound?” Asked Amelia who is now frightened. “The security alarms went off!” Shouted Dad. Amelia and her parents went outside and saw a man stealing Mom’s and Dad’s most precious things. Then suddenly, as if on cue, Snowball went to attack the robber from behind, biting and tugging on his clothes. The robber fell and gave up, not knowing what to do. Amelia’s Dad quickly called the police. Soon enough the police caught the robber. Snowball is rewarded for catching the robber. Good boy.
