Thanks, guys. I think I'll just break it up, in that case! My gut was honestly telling me it was too long for a one-shot, so I agree with you both. (and @TheSongofTheStars - it's an Overwatch fanfic!)

@Ranger of the North - you use a lot of words in that which I really like and don't hear used often enough. Like "plinking" is great word choice, and "lacing aroma" sounds lovely.
