Ten months. That's how long I've been working on War of Kings. For the first four months, I didn't get much done and I've scrapped most of what i had from them, but still. Ten months.

Two actually. One was about 30,000 words, the other was just over 50,000. Both really bad first drafts.

It was epic. She wanted to do a short flim for a class and wanted to have a sentence for every clip, and this vid was like 3 minutes long
It was so fun, we spent like a week planning.

I have no idea what happened to the file of video, I wrote the story on paper, and sketched on copy paper, and she lined and color digitally

I've finished plenty of short stories, but never anything long.

*shrug* I've never done much editing.

I dunno. Probably a few months? I usually only write actively for a month or two, and then sit around with writer's block trying to add more for a few more months until I get a cool new idea. At some point I came back to a story from like two years before, but I didn't work on it constantly for that long, so I wouldn't count it.

In other news, I'm suddenly really tempted to go sign up for NaNo. Which is a terrible idea and I will write like 1k words, feel awful about it, and promise myself that I'll never do NaNo again. For the third time.
