Yeah. I'm not very good at remembering wich tense I'm writing in.
Here are some tips for starting a diary:
Title
Make it original! Pick a random food or object, but try not to pick one that has already bee used.
Entries
Do:
• Introduce the characters, but in your own way.
• Have an interesting storyline
• Use good grammar and spelling (Little to no text talk). Grammar is a challenge for me!
Try not to:
• Do this, since it's a bit cliche.

This is SO not a diary. It's a _____.
I am _____.
Here is a picture of me.
This is my mom.
This is my dad.
This is my sister.
This is my pet.
Bye, _____.

• Force people to join in order for you to write. Pwople can join when they want to. Also, this is the writing board, and this is not very in-depth writing:

A student joined. His/her name was _____.
Popular: Name and interests.
Student: (Says name and interesrs)
Popular: Outcast.

My diary is a little chiche, but I try my best to keep it original.

I think the 'he will blahblah' from fnaf means the guard, the guard always come back, and the animatronic have a place for him~

Also, little tips to avoid spam:

1. Don't bump so often.
Or you can choose not to bump at all. I find it very difficult to flip through entries of some diaries through multiple posts saying 'bump' or 'please join!'. People join at their will, when they find their stories interesting.

2. Don't chat.
This is a writing thread, not a place to hang out and goof around. If the author says posting is open, it doesn't mean you can talk about things totally off topic.

3. Fan club is the best place to chat.
It doesn't mean you have to be a silent ghost! If you are willing to chat about other people's diaries, you can either do it here (since this place is a great way to share stories and what not) or chat in the fan club the author made. If you have a diary with a lot of chatting going on, make a fan club for all of that!

^ Lol, same. There's never anything to discuss in my diary; alternatively, nobody cares about it, but I prefer thinking the first one. A fanclub would basically just be saying "I like the Lychee/Longan" and "Apollo is awesome" multiple times.

Also, do you ever just write a random little thing as comedic or something to add a small conflict... and then some minor Fridge Horror kicks in. In my story, (spolier alert) Amelia volunteers to help out with the new livestock they're getting in the farm and is obviously happy. This was meant to show her love for animals. Unfortunately, when I look back, all I can think of is "less than sane dog enjoys slaughtering".
