Okay, back to topic. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I've Googled multiple things such as, "Kiss on cheek" and "Kiss on cheek by guy friend" and pretty much half of them said, "Don't worry about it because it probably doesn't mean anything. It's a greeting in some places" And the other half says, "HE LIKES YOU"

I mean, I'm probably overreacting. It was just a kiss on the cheek, I mean, psshhh, that's practically nothing. I mean, people had their first kiss in middle school! They're like, what, 12, and they're practically kissing everybody! That's not really true, but still.

I'm not a goody-goody, I mean, I've had my first kiss already. Okay, so I only ever had one kiss, but still!

I should talk to this to someone but... I don't know. I feel like my problems should stay as my problems, ya know? I don't know. It's sort of weird. Kay, just a little vent entry.

So, to try and clear my mind, I went out with Megan today. I suggested we go to the ice cream shop that Connor went to because I wanted to introduce the two.

Bad idea.

To say that they don't get along well is an understatement.

Me: Yeah, this place is really good.
Megan: If you're sure.

We walked in. Connor was working the counter, as always. I mean, what are the chances that I would come on a day that he was off or not working the counter? Pssh.

Connor: Hey Alyssa! Who did you bring?
Megan: I'm Megan, nice to meet you.
Connor: Connor.
Me: And I'm Alyssa!

They both looked at me.

Connor: So, what do you want?
Megan: I'll have chocolate.
Connor: Isn't that dangerous to eat?
Megan: Then why do you serve it?
Connor: **awkward laugh** It was a joke... Okay, never mind. Here.
Me: I'LL TAKE ROCKY ROAD
Connor: You never take anything different.
Me: Obviously. It's the best flavor ever.
Megan: :T **eats ice cream**

We all sat down.

Megan: Don't you have work to do?
Connor: It's my lunch break.
Me: Oh. How fortunate.
Connor: Yeah.

I thought they would be great friends! Look at how they're hitting it off already!

Anyway, we sat down and soon after shoveling the entire bowl of ice cream into my mouth, I had a stomachache. I wonder why.

I left them for like, fifteen minutes, and they were at each others' THROATS

Megan: I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT YOUR SISTER, I JUST SAID THAT SHE HAS BAD TASTE IN CLOTHING
Connor: YOU SHOULD LOOK IN A MIRROR BEFORE YOU TALK
Me: OOOOOHmygosh. Okay, uh, guys, let's just calm down a bit before-
Connor: **stomps to the backroom**

Me: What just happened?
Megan: Connor's just being a giant jerk. As usual.
Me: As usual?
Megan: I used to go to Courtney's place all the time and I met him before.
Me: What did he do?
Megan: He was obnoxious, loud, and gross.
Me: You're describing every 13-year-old boy out there.
Megan: Hmph. He's still a jerk.

Me: **rolls eyes** I'm going to go check up on him. Make sure he's not binge-eating all of the ice cream in the back room.

He was sitting in the back room on one of the old chairs, looking at a laptop. I don't think he heard me come in because he didn't even look up.

I plopped down on the chair next to him and peeked over at his computer screen.

Me: Whatcha doing?
Connor: AHHH I MEAN, UH, NOTHING **slams the laptop closed**
Me: o3o I WANNA SEE
Connor: NEVAH

His embarrassment made me want to see whatever it was even more

Me: Pleaseeeeeee?
Connor: No!

He shoved the laptop into the case and speed-walked (sped-walked?) out of the room.

Megan was sitting at the table, looking at her phone.

Megan: Hey Alyssa, look at this!

She showed me a text post on Tumblr that was pretty funny. I have a Tumblr account but I barely use it. I mean, I have better things to use my time for. Like writing in my diary. Yeah. :T

Connor: Well, you guys should get going. My aunt is going to come and then I'll have to pretend to work.
Me: Okay, see you later!
Megan: Yeah, yeah, whatever. Bye, ya dork!
Connor: Later, loser!

When we left the shop, Megan wouldn't look up from her phone.

Megan: Ugh. Charlie wants me home.
Me: Why?
Megan: Apparently, her 'boyfriend' just broke up with her.
Me: Oh, that's awful!
Megan: **rolls eyes** Yeah, he broke up with her after dating for two days. I guess that's enough time for her to spill that our parents cut her off financially.
Me: What?
Megan: She can't buy anything on her own after buying a trip around the world during March.
Me: So... The guy was a gold-digger?
Me: Mhm! **texts**
Me: That's horrible!
Megan: I know! Charlie is so stupid.

Me: Are your parents going to have an arranged marriage for you so they can expand their family business or something?
Megan: If they're planning it, I don't know.
Me: WAIT THOSE THINGS ARE REAL?! LIKE THEY DON'T JUST EXIST IN ROMANCE NOVELS?!
Megan: You're too naive. Anyway, I have to go home. She's probably going to be crying her eyes out right now. She never learns. See ya!
Me: Bye.

And that's my day.
