Dear Hawk,
Halloween’s coming up - lots of pranking and sweets - and I don’t have a - wait. I wrote that in the entry before, right? Let me check... Yeah. Right. So, costumes... I'll ask Jewel or Creek about that later. Pranks... I'm fully stocked. Now all I need is.... wait a second... WHAT?!

This. Thing. Just. Appeared. It - she - looks familiar, right? Right?! It's... me. It calls itself Larksky, though. But that was me, wasn't it? Ugh, this is confusing. Larksky-me-imposer's just walked right up to Miss White-nose and.... they're talking.

Snowy: *sniffs* Ugh, Nerd. Wait - haven't I seen you before?
?Larksky/Me-Imposer?: Yes, you have. Don't you recognize that you've only put a couple of dogs in the group you call 'Nerds' and I'm Larksky?!
Snowy: Ugh. You look... familiar, too. *glares* You nearly made me get an F in homework before, remember? I told you to do my homework, right? Right?!
Larksky: Maybe, maybe not. *walks off*
I was left staring after Larksky, confused, until someone gave me a shoulder-bump.

Orian: That's not you, is it? I mean Skyler, right?
Me: Why does it seem to be so many doubles of me...?
Orian: Dunno about that. But hey, what'cha think? You know, I've been practicing...
Me: Sorry, busy now. Gotta... go to my locker. See you! *runs after Larksky*
Orian: Um, okay. Yeah, sure! Seeya later! I'll show you my really awesome, cool trick later where...
I had ran far enough to... not hear him. There's a technical term for that, I think, but I don't care. Of course, I had a more important job than listening to him or going to my locker. I raced after Larksky, who had adjusted her thick glasses and mask as she walked along. I was just about to put a paw on her shoulder, to tell her to stop or something, but it was as if she had heard me (not like I had been really loud) and spun around, almost knocking me to the ground with a paw.
Larksky: Attacker - oh. Hey. Um, S - I mean, what's your name?
Me: You're Larksky. Like... you...
Larksky: Um, I asked you a question.
Me: Erm, Skyler. My name's Skyler. There's also a guy called Orian that looks like me... and you, I guess, but don't mess us up.
Larksky: *chuckles somewhat creepily* Oh, I won't, after all, I have a
mission to accomplish, do I?
Me: What does that have to do with... looks?
Larksky: *smiles pleasantly* Nothing, nothing at all. Well, I'd better get going. I'm sure... Your accomplices can fill in the blanks for you right now. It's going to be quite convenient for you to talk to your accomplices, too - especially the one in your head.
Me: Head...?
Larksky: Nice meeting you, Skyler. How much I want to stay and chat, I really do have to get to class. Good luck. *hurries off*
Me: Good... luck? And... wait a second. Class...?!
I checked the time and realized there was a minute before class, so I ran to my locker, grabbed my books, and half-flew half-ran to my class. Flight class. With wings, of course. Not jetplanes or such - but that would be cool if it was.
I arrived on time just to see the teacher finish writing on the whiteboard that just happened to be there. She finished the word she was currently writing with a flourish and I squinted, trying to see her crazy cursive writing. It said something like - 'Today we are learning to - fly in harsh conditioning' (wait - I think that says 'conditions').
Teacher: Students, today we are going to learn to fly in harsh conditions. Extreme conditions, even. We are first starting with navigating through strong winds.
Class: .....
Teacher: ..... We shall begin. Follow me.
She led us into a... room. It was really tall and had a lot of room - this was where we normally practiced flying. She waited until everyone was inside and handed out protective armor stuff. Helmets, chestplates, all that kind of boring stuff. After everyone secured the bits or armor on themselves, the teacher stepped back towards the door.
Teacher: We'll have some practical work here. I'll start up a wind and you fly. I'll only tell you some things - don't waste your energy by struggling or flapping your wings rapidly, don't panic, and glide with the current. I'll stop the wind after a while and see how you're getting on. Questions?
Random Classmate: How -
Teacher: None? Good. Let's start. *steps out and slams door*
Whaat. So anyways, suddenly the wind started up. We started to slide around on the ground and crash into each other, so of course, we took off. As soon as I rose up in the air, I started to flip and turn. I started to struggle, but then I remembered -
Oh, yeah, I can control wind! I hope it works, anyways.I wasn't sure if I could still control wind, or if I could control artificial wind. Or if it was cheating, but I didn't think of that. So I stopped flapping my wings and panicking and closed my eyes.
I crashed into someone straight away. My eyes flashed open to see Larksky.
Larksky: .... Interesting.
She soared off as if there wasn't any wind at all. I looked after her, a little surprised, and just managed to miss crashing into someone else. I decided not to bother yelling 'sorry', seeing they wouldn't be able to hear me anyways, then concentrated again. The wind around me suddenly seemed to die down and since I wasn't flapping my wings, I nearly dropped. I spread my wings and glided, the wind still blowing against me but now gentler. I felt myself flip over and turn the other way, gliding with the current, and suddenly I understood.
I stopped trying to control the wind and let go. The wind suddenly felt like it was knocking me backwards again, but I focused on my powers and suddenly 'saw' the air currents. I chose one and glided along that one, not bumping into anyone else anymore.

I spotted Taylor flailing around on another current and reached out to grab her, pulling her behind me.
Me: Hey.
Taylor: WHAT - um, hi!
Me: .... Air currents.
I suppose Populars aren't always that bad. Maybe that's why I wanted to help.
Taylor: Air... oh, I get it! Thanks!
Me: You're -
Then the winds suddenly stopped and everyone started to plummet to the ground. Most people managed to slow down and land a little awkwardly, but I just fell on my face.
Me: Ow...
The door opened and the teacher walked in, keeping her expression completely straight.
Teacher: I suppose next we have to learn about having to land anywhere.
Me: But -
Teacher: Tsk.
The teacher shook her head as the speakers suddenly blared -
Speaker: Hello, students. As you may have seen on the calendar -
Me: What calendar?
Speaker: The Mid Autumn Festival is here. Some of you may call it the Lunar Festival, maybe something else, but it's a time to visit your family.
Me: It is?
Speaker: We are letting you off after the first period to go and see your families. I expect you to be back this night to continue your lessons tomorrow, and I also expect you not to stay here. You
must go see your families. Thank you.
Teacher: *mutters something under her breath* Well, then. Class dismissed.
Whaaat. Well, that was weird. But really? I have to? I'm not looking forwards to that... But I suppose I have to. First... I really want to talk to Hurricane. To figure out what this is all about, you know? She did mention she's my soul or something... So maybe I should scream 'I WANT TO TALK TO YOU' really loud in my head...
Hurricane: Hey.
WHATWHATWHATWHAT Oh. Okay.... Um, I'll look for somewhere more private... my dorm. Right.
I'm at my dorm. Time doesn't work in books... or hawks, for that matter. So... I need to ask her.

Hurricane: Your.... mind is quite persuasive.
Me: Erm... Thanks?
Hurricane: That wasn't a compliment. So, if you're wondering about Larksky... *tiny smile* I'm afraid there's more adventure coming. Something... very large.
Me: So do you know -
Hurricane: Yes, I do. In fact, it wasn't just a... little magic that made Larksky appear. Especially after... your disguise problem.
Me: Then why aren't you telling me?!
Hurricane: This information isn't allowed for people of your security clearance, but you'll... find out soon.
Me: *sigh* Well.... um.
Hurricane: ....
Me: Can I ship you with Lucifer?
Hurricane: What? You titanic me with Lucifer?
Me: Ship. Not boat or titanic. Or Mayflower or whatever.
Hurricane: .... I am actually your soul, and you're basically -
Me: *groan* No...
I mentally screamed 'GO AWAY'. Hurricane gave me a dirty look then disappeared.
Me: Yes! I did it! I -
Cinders opened the door.

Cinders: I'LL PARTY!!! Cindy and me, and my mom... and...
Me: Dad?
Cinders: ..... *turns away*
Me: Um, I...
Cinders: Nothing. *leaves*
I stared after her, confused, then I quickly packed up. I was pretty sure the teachers would search the rooms for anyone left, seeing that the person on the speaker had said that they expected us to be out visiting our families... Tigren does come to this school, by the way. I just... never bump into him. I'll have to... pick him up. I'll finish packing up and go to look for him...
Okay. I'm done. I'm outside, surrounded by a lot of dogs.... Oh, look! A scorpion tail! It must be him...

Me: Brother!
Tigren: .... *sighs* Yes?
Me: We have to go, do we?
Tigren: Yes. We
have to.
Me: Wait... Why are you sparkling?
Tigren: I've always sparkled.
Me: There's a cloud of... stars behind you.
Tigren: .... Fine. Experiment problem.
Me: ....?
Tigren: *sighs* Long story. I wanted to create wings for myself -
Me: Seriously?!
Tigren: - and ended up with a cloud of sparkly dust.
Me: Erm... is it poisonous?
Tigren: Do I look dead to you?!
Me: Um, no.
Tigren: Then no. We'll take a taxi there.
Me: I can fly...?
Tigren: I need to keep an eye on you.
Me: *sighs*
He walked out of the school, with me following, and hailed a taxi. We spent a couple of minutes in silence on the taxi, looking out the window.
I got out my IPaw and stared at it for a while, checking out my chats and such. Suddenly some random contact I didn't know contacted me with a single message -
'BEWARE'.
Me: Ugh.
I blocked the random contact - probably a prank caller. Suddenly the taxi stopped.
Tigren: Um, Mister Taxi Driver, why -
Taxi Driver: *turns around with a smile* Why what? I am Allon, and this is why I've stopped. *whips out gun and points it at us*

I froze. Tigren looked equally as shocked too. I focused a little more on the cat and realized his eyes weren't brown anymore, but... white. Ghostly white.
Me: Tigren -
Allon: One more word out of you and you won't live to see another day.
Me: ....
Allon: And stop writing in your diary, too.
I'll stop for the moment - I have an idea. I -
