part 13

Postby Night Ember » Sat Jul 12, 2014 8:23 am

I was shocked "Envy? I thought... I thought..." Envy stopped me there. She said "I have seen your skills. I have seen your past. Now I offer you a future, with me." I said "But my marks, my scars, they will leave, won't they?" She nodded. I said "Then I lose Fear as well. I care for Fear as much as I care for Valiant. Why have you approached me?" But before she could answer, Rage leapt at her and she shrieked in surprise. Rage snarled at her and said "Even you know better than to come to the Fury Cliffs." The lake opened up, and I saw black Furies trying to leap out of the chasm, clawing and scratching for their next victim. I thought I saw Stone's face in the crowd. Envy smiled as she said "The Furies obey me now, Rage. They have me to keep them alive and moving. The next soul joins them, and it will be you, Rage." Rage snorted "The Furies obey no one, Envy. How happy would they be if I threw you in the chasm. Do you really think that they can be controlled? They would be happy for another soul, regardless of what the soul thinks." He picked Envy up by her scruff and held her over the chasm. She shrieked and clawed outward at the exited Furies. I shouted "Stop, Rage! A wolf like Envy deserves to die on a battlefield, not in pure torture over a pit of these... Demons." Rage dropped Envy at the ground by his feet, and he glared at me as he said "We are in the Shadow Realm, Fear. These "Demons" are the least of our troubles. Stone tried to kill you earlier. He turned into a Nightwalker. They roam the Shadow Realm looking for vengeance on the ones who wronged them. Why should I spare Envy?" I replied "She doesn't deserve to die like this. Kill her on the battlefield, where she deserves to die in a pool of her own blood." Rage snorted again and he said "I see you haven't been taught advantages. I have taken your advice, and i have come up with a solution. You drop her in." I knew what this meant. I had to prove my loyalty. I had to be loyal to Rage, and only Rage. It was a must. I picked up Envy's body, fazed from the overhang over the chasm and she shouted "Wait! No! You mustn't do this, Fear. Listen to me, I can offer you everything you have ever wanted! Please don't do this." I had to act like her comments didn't get to me, even though they did. I threw her body into the chasm, where the Furies swarmed over her like ants over a dead mouse. Rage looked pleased. He said "Come on now, Fear. The Council is mine again, because of you. I will give you a place there, with me. It is time you come out of your apprenticeship."

part 14

Postby Night Ember » Sat Jul 12, 2014 3:04 pm

I woke up, with dried blood on my face. There was a burning sensation on my forehead that reminded me of Stone. Valiant Lion walked up to me and he asked "Why do you have blood on your face?" I told him "It's a long story, Valiant." He said "You never tell me anything anymore!" I am 10, don't you think I deserve to know something?" I shook my head. He also spoke again "I already got the mark of Envy. Rage is too harsh for me." My eyes widened, and I turned around, shocked. I said "You are the heir of the Vampyres, Valiant. Why do you bring ill news to me?" He replied "The Coven will worship Envy when you die, mother. She has a peaceful future, and Rage will finally die, just like we've always wanted." I was surprised to hear my son say that. He showed me the mark on his back, A white wolf howling at a black moon. Then he showed me the mark on his wrist, which was a quote from Envy. It read "Light over Darkness, Envy over Rage" in black ink, except for the word Envy, which was in white ink. Sadness turned to anger, I said "Leave this place. I am disowning you from the Coven and from my family!" I took him by the arm and I dragged him into the clearing. Rage was surprised until I showed him the mark on Valiant's wrist. I said the words that were said to my by my father, "Valiant has turned from Rage, therefore shall Rage shun and disown him. He will never be able to enter the Realm of Rage. May his death be slow and cold." Before Valiant left, he said "Rage, you may have gotten out of the council, but Envy will return and she will be coming for you and that... unbeliever's head." and he stormed off out of the camp. I had no family anymore, thanks to all Rage has done. I killed my brother in order of Rage. I took up Rage's practices and killed Swift and Torn. My father and my mother died due to Hunters, I have no one left... Except James. At the bonfire tonight, Rage said "Since I am back in the Council, I have no need of the mortal lands. My gratitude goes to you, my followers." and he stepped in the flames, which somehow teleported him to the Council Lands.
When I went to sleep, I awoke in front of the Council. Rage said "It is time for my apprentice to exceed to become not apart of the Undead Army, but apart of the Council itself." Everyone on the rocks were astonished. Snowball said are you sure this is wise, Rage? along with many other complaints from the other mentors, but the apprentices remained quiet. Scarred Beast looked at me with passion in his eyes. Rage said, in our minds, Come forward, Fear. Show us your loyalty.. I gulped. I turned around and saw forests. All of the wolves were watching me as I turned back around, but I saw a vast, golden plains behind the rocks. Rage said If you are true, then you will lead this Army to battle.I looked and saw many humanoids of all races, armored, armed, and ready to kill. There were thousands of them, organized into groups, which were all equalized and straight in rows. If you pass, that isRage whispered in my mind. I turned away from the stones and I saw Stone. He wasn't like I saw him last time, no he was helpless again, his foot stuck in a trap. He didn't scream though, instead he said "Fear. We meet again in the same instance, the same place. What will you do when you have no sword?" and my weapons disappeared. The test was harder than my apprenticeship initiation. I had to kill him, but with my bare hands. I walked up to him and I didn't meet him in the eye. He hissed at me, but he put up no resistance. I held his neck, and I snapped it, just as a tear sparked in my eye. Stone disappeared, as did the trap. Then Eric appeared, beat up and scarred from the last battle I had with him. He said "Are you happy now, Fear? Your son left the Coven, your father abandoned you, you hanged your mate, and now you have settled to joining the shadows for leadership. Is this what you wanted? Is this going to be your future?" I retorted "At least the Coven didn't die under a Hunter's crossbow. I am doing this for the greater good!" I couldn't listen to this anymore. I was going to lead the Army into battle, with nobody to stop me. I walked over to him, and I picked up a dull stick. I impaled him so the stick went right through him. Nothing was going to stop me. Eric disappeared, only to be replaced by Elliott. He said "Kill me, Fear. If you are so loyal to Rage, than murder me like the Hunters did." A table appeared beside of me, with a large stone on it. This wouldn't be an instant kill, I would have to bludgeon my mate to death. I had to do it. It was the only way. I picked up the rock, and he said "Do you really want to do this? I'm your mate, I'm supposed to be the one you loved." I said "This is over, Elliott. I have to do this." He said "For what? To lead a battle? Is it really worth it?" I looked away, tears spilling down my face as I brought the stone upon his head, knocking him down. He pleaded "Stop Fear! Please, I beg you, stop this torture, this pain. Is it worth it!?" I brought the rock down upon him again, his screams of pain bringing streams of tears down my face. Once he was dead, i heard Rage's voice in my head. Look at what you have done, Fear. Look at his body and look at the stone in your hand. See the pain you have caused. Once you break through the wall of fear and sorrow in your mind, you can become one of us.. I looked at the ground, at Elliott's dead body, and I looked at the stone in my head. I said to myself "He was already dead, Fear. Hunter's killed him, and this is just an illusion. Just an illusion just an illusion just an illusion..." Rage said in my head It's not over, Fear. One more stage, and then you will be in the Council. This will be the hardest one you will ever see, Fear. Once you complete this task, you will lead the Undead Army into battle. I sobbed into the sky "What are we battling!? What can be so important that I had to kill Elliott!?" One word went in my mind from Rage, Envy and a light of ambition went through my eyes. Anger sparked through my mind, and I said "I'm ready for anything you have to throw at me, Rage." I heard laughter in my mind. Rage's laughter. He said You will not be prepared for what's coming, Fear.
I saw James. I wasn't in a forest, but a torture room. On a table was torture instruments. James saw me, but he thought I was a torturer. He said "What will it be this time? The knife? The poisons? All for a name. The same name of the person I have dreamt about. The same name of the one who left here with the dragon murderers." He was obviously under some sedatives. Something to make him drowsy, at least. He seemed distant, like he was under some serum. I looked in a puddle, and I saw the reflection of a Hunter, in a mask. The mask had no mouth, a crooked nose, and it was white. I had a Hunter's uniform, a tricorn hat, the grey mask, and my reflection was holding a list. The list said 'Ask him what the name was, get him to tell you by using any weapon possible, but don't kill him or you both will be buried' i had to do this. I looked at the tray, and I picked up a needle the length of my arm. It read pain serum, insert in spine I asked, the words spilling out of my mouth, like I had repeated them many times over to him "Tell me the name of who the leech was, and I won't inflict more pain upon you." James spat back out at me "Do whatever you want to me, her life is more valuable than mine, kill me." I gulped and inserted the needle in his back, flinching at his cries. He screamed as the serum burned him through his veins. I picked up a knife, and I barely drew it upon his skin when he said "Ok! I'll tell you, just please don't hurt me anymore, I beg you! Her name is Ember. The Dragon Hunters brought her to the camp right outside of Biel. That's all I know, I'm telling you the truth and I'm begging you to please stop!" I stopped and went down to my knees, sorrowful, but I wasn't crying. I said "Rage, this wasn't as bad as last time, you lied." He replied you're not done yet, Fear. You are a Vampyre, drink him 'till he dies The sadness started then. I hadn't thought of that. But I had to do it, I had to be loyal to Rage. But was it worth it? Leading an Undead Army to kill the murderers of my race? It had to be worth it. I was trained to be selfless. The needs of myself were never better than the greater good, which killed Stone. I took off the mask, extended my teeth, and the term 'drank him dry' was literal. When I was finished, he was a husk. Rigid, stiff, and stalky, that's what his skin was like. Rage said Welcome to the Council, Fearless Cheetah

part 15

Postby Night Ember » Fri Jul 18, 2014 6:45 am

The Council. Many would see it as a privilege. I see it as another set of chains. Rage promised me a place, all I have to do now is die. This was my stopping point. Rage had me do everything for him, now I had to do everything to stop him. But then I had realized, who is the good guy here? Rage is the leader of a death council, Envy wants to take over the government, and we all murder like there's no tomorrow. I stood in my tent, thinking everything thoroughly. My son is with Envy, and I am with Rage. I couldn't do anything, not yet. Rage promised me an army to lead, so I will lead it. Tonight, he said. I exchanged my armor for a black-gold combination of a Council member's armor.
Tonight, as I went to the Council Grounds, I saw the Army again. I heard Envy's voice, but I ignored her. We would kill her this time, once and for all eternity. Nothing will stop us and nothing will get in our way. Ashen Sky stood beside me as I read the maps of the Spirit World. She said "It is time, Fear." I marched the Army to a battle front on my black-armored horse, James, where generations of soldiers and generals alike have died and passed on to the Shadow Realm. I saw an army of white warriors against our black clad warriors. It was a classic black/white battle. Then I saw who the other general was: Valiant Lion on a pure-bred white horse. I gasped "Valiant!" And he sneered as he said "I have always wanted to do this, mother. Ever since you killed Swift, I had always had a passion for bloodshed. Now Envy has promised a place in the new council if I don't die tonight. We are the right choice of leadership." I shouted "Undead Army, Charge!" and he said "Warriors of Light, attack! Leave no one alive!" And the warriors collided. I swung my blade and stained white armor red and I threw a dagger at an opposing attacker. I was looking for Valiant, hoping that he was dead already. I was not successful when I saw him, hacking away at a cloud of dark people with spears. I picked up a spear from a fallen soldier of Envy and I threw it at him, cutting his face. He looked up, his eyes blazing. I galloped to him and he galloped to me. I pulled out Fear and I raised it, a battle cry in his throat. He raised up his sword, Ripjaw. I was saddened when I saw the blade. It had taken far too many Vampyre lives. The black sword absorbed death like a sponge. It fed on it, taking anyone and anything. Now it might take my life, the sword turning on it's original master. I slashed at Valiant, Fear damaging his gold-white armor. He slashed at me, and I parried. I stabbed his horse, making it go haywire on him. He jumped off and stabbed at James, so I had no choice but to get off and fight on the ground. I swung, clipping him on the arm, and he swung, the hilt crushing into my jaw as I barely avoided the blade. Blood spattered and I brought my sword down on his unarmored head, yelling as I heard it break something. Valiant cried out as he shot me a look of pleading. He collapsed to the ground, and I could barely see him move. I took my sword, and i plunged it into him. As I did that, I saw myself killing Stone all over again, and when I looked up, he was there, giving me a malicious smile before shaking his head at me. I am constantly haunted by my past, so why do they have to keep coming back? I looked at the body, and tears streamed down my face. I said "Rage, it is done. He is dead." I heard laughter in the distance and I saw Envy walking up to me in the midst of a battle. She said "You would do anything for your precious Rage, wouldn't you? I thought the sight of killing your son would be enough to sway you to my side. The right side. Not to mention Stone." I shouted "You made me kill Stone!? YOU started this, didn't you? You caused all of this pain, this misfortune." She replied smoothly, "I did it so you wouldn't die in a Vampyre Coven, so you would live to see the day where I would rule." my eyes blazed and I swung the sword around, and it caught on her throat. She made a gargling sound as she fell to the ground in a pool of her own blood. I said "Rage. Now it is done. Now I am done. I wish to retire from this nonsense. I can't do this anymore." I blinked and I was in front of the Council. Rage smiled with a cruel look as he said "permission granted, all you have to do now is die." A wolf loomed up before me. It was a dark russet color, with Ember colored eyes. I knew what I had to do. I knelt before the wolf, and it killed me. I blinked, but I wasn't dead. I looked up at Rage, and he was a black wolf. I looked at the rest of the Council. They were all multi-colored wolves. A rock appeared beside of Rage. I walked and jumped on the rock. I noticed that one wolf was gone. I asked "Where is Snowball?" and he said "Envy took her when she died. That was the agreement, the curse. Snowball would die when Envy died. Now, Fear, I am asking you to be my mate." I said "Call me Ember, and I accept."

End of Book one, Book two, part 1 is coming soon on the same forum. Thanks for reading The Vampyres, book 1.

Book 2, Part 1: Rage's Story

Postby Night Ember » Wed Jul 23, 2014 3:47 am

I was born under a blood moon, in a pack of wolves. But they weren't wolves. They were Soul Wolves. A Soul Wolf is stronger, leaner, faster, and smarter than any ordinary wolf. One problem with our society is that we need a "master" to rule our lives. We live for eternity, unless a battle kills us. We live like dogs to humans, this I regret greatly. Well, back to the story.
I was 3 sunrises old when humans came into our shelter. The "camp" is a clearing filled with lean-to's. There are about 1500-3000 Soul Wolves crammed into 150 lean-to's. The humans came and picked me up, and they carried me to a tribal tent. There, they inspected every part of me like cattle or pigs. They treated me and my kind like livestock. When I got back to the shelters, I realized that I had a sister. My mother hadn't named me yet, but apparently I had anger in my eyes, so they named me Rage. My sister always competed for things, so they called her Envy. I was black and she was white. She loved the human companionship, and I hated it. We travelled by a human's side like a dog. We were put on a chain-leash and we were given metal collars. We were beaten when we did something wrong, and we were given "treats" when we did something "good". I killed my first human before the first year of my birth ended. I started the first act of rebellion. The other Soul Wolves were shocked, but many of them joined me, a 1-year-old Soul Wolf to lead them against their chains as well. The humans gathered forces of the Soul Wolves who wanted to stay, and I gathered the ones who wanted to leave. We fought long and hard. Ever member of us they killed, we killed two. We were fighting for freedom, we had nothing to lose but our lives. They had to keep us, or they lost us. Negotiation wasn't an answer, and diplomacy was out of the question. I killed and killed and killed. Death took grip of many wolves from both sides, as well as humans. At the end of the battle, only a certain few Soul Wolves were left on our side. I had many cuts and bruises. I said "We are free!" and the others chanted in praise. We knew what we had to do, we had to split up, populate, and then turn from our past. I passed all of the dead bodies, speared or cut up. I looked away, remorseful and guilty. I had to get over it, I would see dead things all my life. Then I saw the dead body of my mother and my father, and I broke down
I ran through the forest, happy and free. Then I heard dogs, no, wolves. but they were normal wolves. I heard "There's another one near here! This would make 9/9 that we have killed since the war." I panicked. The others were dead. I took off into the forest, leaving behind no trail except dust clouds. I ran until I saw snow, tundra, and pines. I saw a nearby cave, and I heard a voice "Come in here, it's safe." I saw small, beady eyes under a low pine tree. I walked up to it and fell into a hole. She laughed as she said "You're supposed to jump down the burrow, not fall." I grumbled and shook the loose dirt from my pelt. She said "Who are you?" I replied "I am Rage. What are who are you?" She looked taken aback "I am a wolf, once I was tamed by humans. My pelt is so white, they named me Snowball." I chuckled "Snowball? That's what your name is? It doesn't sound so fierce." She said "It's deceiving. It doesn't sound fierce so they let their guard down. I'm not going for fierce anyway." She turned and walked through the burrow. Even though she was annoyed, she was pretty and nice. She looked back at my cuts and she said "Come, we can tend to your scratches." I said "we?" she didn't reply, she just darted through the dark, cold tunnels. I followed her glowing white pelt, and we came to a pool of water, where many wolves were. They all looked up at me, and I returned their gaze. I heard one of them say "Hey, Bone, who do you think this newbie is?" Another wolf replied "I think he's just a mutt, Scarface. A lowly little pet." I snarled and I stepped out into a pool of moonlight shining through a crevice in the top of the tunnel "Who are you calling mutt, Bone." I said, assuming he was Bone. Once they saw my scratched up face, they cowered down before me. I went over to the pool of water and I rinsed off the blood. I looked in my reflection, and I saw that I had a scar over my left eye. That explained why I couldn't see through it. I also had a scar leading from my shoulder down my belly to the base of my tail. My inky-black pelt was stained with my scars. My right ear was nicked and my face was broken. I looked dead and bony. There was a rock by the pool of water, and I went up and sat on it. Many wolves turned to me, and I said "My brothers, my friends. I am Rage, a Soul Wolf who escaped enslavement from humans yesterday. My family died, my friends died, and apart of me died as well. I wish to take this place as a sanctuary, until I heal enough to set out again." Snowball looked up at me and she replied "I built this place, I see who stays and who goes. I want you to stay, Rage. But what is a Soul Wolf?" I looked down at my paws and I answered "A Soul Wolf is a shifter. It can turn into a human, wolf, and in the most extreme of cases, a dragon. I can't shift, I am not old enough. The only way a Soul Wolf is created is through normal reproduction or by something else. When you take Ginger and crush it up and put it directly in the bloodstream through someone's neck. "I need companions. Any takers?" A few wolves stepped forward in the water. A small mottled brown wolf said "My name comes from a long-dead tribe. My name is Venomfang." A sold gray wolf with a black face, black paws, and black stripes said "My name is Night." Bone was a light gray with white flecks and Scarface was a light tan with a long scar from one side of his face diagonally to the other side. A small black wolf said "I am Jag, and my brother is Indigo. We want to join." then another wolf walked up to me and said "My name is Cleft, named after the accident my mother was in... when she was pushed off of a cliff." I didn't tell them that only the strongest would make it for a reason. They would back down if they knew it wouldn't be easy. I said "We need ginger, anyone have any?" To my surprise, a few wolves walked up with many ginger roots. I unsheathed my claws and I opened a slice in Bone's neck before taking some crushed ginger and putting it in the largest vein. He took cobwebs and patched it up afterwards. I did it to the rest of the volunteers. They all survived, luckily, the next day. They all had ember eyes and they all obeyed me now. I said "Block all of the exits. You were volunteers, no? Now I will take the ones who aren't and I will turn them." I took the rest of the ginger, and as the others blocked off the cave exit, I went up to a young pup. I unsheathed my claws and I drew a line of blood in it's neck fur. It screeched, but I didn't care. I inserted ginger, and it screeched more. I took the rest of the ginger and I turned the rest into Soul Wolves. Unfortunately, only 30 survived, all of them healthy, 2-3 year old wolves. Snowball came into the cavern and she looked at the dead bodies around her. She said "What have you done, Rage!? They're dead! You killed them!" I replied smoothly "I didn't kill them, they just weren't strong enough. My population will die out if I have no replacements, even you know that, Snowball." I walked up to her and nuzzled her slightly. She didn't reject it. She said "I would tell you to leave but... it just doesn't seem right..." I said "you have a point, it isn't right. You and I could stay here, together. As mates, even." I thought she would freak out or panic, but she said nothing. She didn't reject it, and she didn't accept it. She just told me "I'll think about it." She left the cavern and I looked back evilly. Bone asked me "Is she your mate now, Rage?" I replied "Hopefully, Bone. When you see the mate you want for life, you know it. I just don't know if she sees me that way." Bone whispered "But you have only known her for a few days." I said nothing.
She came back later and she said "I am turning this place into a sanctuary for Soul Wolves. If you turn one wolf into a Soul Wolf or if you're going to, bring them here. I will stock up on ginger." I was about to ask about my proposal, but she left. I dragged bodies out of the way, pausing to look at the blood color. It was black. That proved that they didn't make it. I put down some large stones, and then I put moss on them, for comfort. I sent Bone and the others to find the best of ordinary wolves and bring them here. When I say 'the best' I meant the strongest, the fastest, the best. I also told them to bring as many pups here as possible. I walked up to Snowball with a hare in my jaws from the hunting trip earlier. The minute I dropped it by her feet, she said "Yes. I will be your mate." I was happy, exited, amused, everything. I couldn't say anything, but my eyes showed everything. I hadn't shown any feelings for any wolf but her, and they were still rising. One problem, she was a normal wolf. I asked her "I would be honored if you became one of us. Will you do that, for me?" She looked back at me and she said "Unless I have to, no. I won't become one of your enslaved demons. Not now, not ever. Unless I'm dying or I begging to become one, do not turn me." I was saddened. If we had pups, they would be half-breeds. I wouldn't do it out of her own will, though. Bone walked back up to me, a pup in his jaws, and 4 pups following him, with three other female wolves behind him. He said "I have a few. I assume the stones are ready?" I nodded and he led them all to the mossy stones. I followed him and I said "One wolf per stone. Lie one your stomach. I will be with you in a few minutes, Bone will not let you leave." Scarface came back with a few injuries, but a few wolves. He said "The Soul Wolf Hunters are trying to kill us. Many died, I was not pursued." I asked "How many left?" He made tally marks i the dust, 18. I grimaced. That was a low number. He had 7 wolves with him. I told him to guide them to the stones and Bone would direct them from there. I walked into another cavern section, filled with ginger roots. I took out a stone and I placed ginger roots on it. I then crushed them to make a pulp so it would be easier to get in the bloodstream. I found an old bowl, possibly created by humans, and I filled it up with crushed ginger-paste. I walked back into the other cavern filled with stones, and I went up to the first wolf, a purely white pup. I cut a small slit in it's neck and I put in some ginger. I ignored the cries from it, and then I moved on to the next wolf, and the next one until they all were in agonizing pain and turning. One pup went limp from the start, and I ordered my lackeys to take away the body. They walked up to it, and it twitched a little. I looked at it's eyes, and I saw that it had ember-colored eyes. It was weak, but alive. I said "I name you Spasming Leopard for your constant jolting and moving." It jolted one more time, then it fell unconscious. The others looked at me and they said "Do we get names?" I replied "No, you are not the new generation. I plan to revoke their powers once they get adept enough to be a human. Then they will be humans under my blood. They will be daring, courageous, dauntless, self-sufficient, and they will worship me. I expect them to be wily enough to hunt Dragons, so they shall be the Dragon Hunters. I will name one chieftain now." I looked at the pups who survived, and I chose the strongest one and I said "This one. I name it Shadowing Cloud. He will be the leader when he becomes of age. I need to train you, so you don't die next time.
I spent the next 10 months training Bone, Night, Venomfang, and Scarface. Snowball watched the whole time, wide-eyed. By the end of training, I had 4 sons. I named them Ash, Night, Dust, and Fury. Fury was the youngest, and Ash and Night were the eldest. They were half-breeds, like I said they would be. They all watched me train the other members, and that is when I learned to shift. I shifted into a human once, and I used magic. I could do almost anything. I used my newfound abilities to create magical weapons. Weapons that could turn into animals. I created a black sword for me, that turned into a black wolf. I decided to name the swords after the masters. Bone got a sword that was named Bone, which turned into a lynx. Night got a sword that could turn into a Cobra. Venomfang got a sword that turned into a swarm of wasps, and Scarface got a sword that turned into a bear. I trained them out of their apprenticeship, and I created a Council with them. I made it The Council. The pups that were turned into Soul Wolves watched me and were able to shift. I revoked their powers and I dropped them off in the middle of a forest with little supplies. My plan worked. They obeyed my every word, and I was a God to them. They created dragon bone armor, dragon bone weapons, and like I said, they were daring and dauntless. I found pride in them.
One day, a familiar person walked up to me. I knew her. She fought on the other side of the battle front, she is the one who killed my parents. Envy. She said "Rage. I beg for your forgiveness. I didn't know you were... injured this bad." Without warning, I backhanded her hard and fast, where she fell to the ground. I said "I am someone of importance now, Envy. I know you were the one killing my scouts, and I know that you were the one who killed mom and dad. You caused this! Now I have exceeded my powers, and now you come crawling back to me." She was also adept, she was a human, not a wolf. She got down on one knee and she said "Rage, I beg you, let me live with your followers. Give me a name, and give me a place within your society." I replied "Fine. I name you Shadowy Cheetah. Don't let me down, Envy, or I will come for you." She grinned and walked off.
