I will write something random that has nothing to do with the plot and never actually happened for mah fansssss :D
Yawning, Dagger continued splashing paint on the side of the house.
"What are you doing!" Rosethorn screeched, dropping her pile of firewood on the ground with a loud clatter. I stifle a giggle from my perch in the trees.
"Painting the house. It needs an artistic touch," Dagger says, unconcerned. He smears some blue on the rotting wood.
"Where'd you get the paint?" She asks incredulously.
"Hmmm, a little rodent got it for me."
"Coon?" Rose hisses. As if on cue, Coon falls out of the tree next to me with a scream.
"I swear, I didn't do it!" He screeches, trying to get to his feet and tripping over the dropped firewood. Rose pounces on him and picks him up by his shirt collar.
"Did you take that from me?" She hisses, her eyes narrowed. Coon gulps and flails his legs, screaming for help. Dagger continues painting, completely unconcerned.
"Did you?" She asks again, this time with more malice.
"Ermm, maybe, yeah, but he paid me!" Coon says, scrambling for an excuse.
"With what? Money?"
"No," Coon says, looking offended at the idea. "Chocolate."
Sighing, Rose lets go of him. He drops to the ground and runs shrieking away.
"You paid him calcified chocolate to paint the side of the house? Why?" She asks.
"I just wanted to, okay? Geez, everything has to have an ulterior motive with you," He growls, throwing a wet paintbrush at her. It smacks onto her shirt, leaving a multicolored orange stain on her shirt. Looking like she's about to murder someone, a massacre was probably averted as Grasswhistle sticks her head from around the corner, perhaps wondering why there was an abandoned pile of firewood on the corner.
"Oi, what's going on here?" She calls. Rose slowly swivels around. Grasswhistle smirks and casts a glance at Dagger.
"Well played sir," She laughs, trotting around the corner. Dagger nods noncholantly and continues painting. It looks a bit like water on the ocean.
Rose looks back at Dagger, her eye twitching, then back at Grasswhistle, who comes to inspect the art.
"This... Is... WAR!" She shouts, grabbing a paint bucket and throwing a thick glob of paint at Grasswhistle, shouting traitor. Grasswhistle looks shocked for a moment before grabbing her own pail of paint, throwing some at Rose. Dagger doesn't do anything at all, just sits back against the wall as paint begins to fly around him. Attracted by the noise, Laurel's pokes her head out of a hole in the wall, a quizzical expression on her face. She gets a faceful of red paint and pokes her head back inside, only to come out a moment later, lugging two heavy cans of paint with her.
Completely baffled by the sudden change of character in everyone, I'm only further confused as Coon comes screaming back in, possibly attracted by the noise, lugging Break behind him. Break looks confused for a moment, at least until he's splattered pink and blue by incoming fire.
A moment later, and somehow Badger is in the fight and Ice is observing from the rooftops, a wretched expression on his face. Deciding that now's about the time that I join in, I jump down from my tree and begin the paint flinging.
Dagger doesn't move the entire time except to press up against the wall. All of a sudden though, he shouts at the top of his voice.
"STOP!"
Sort of stunned, we all stop mid-fight and turn to look at him. Smiling, he side-steps, to reveal a Dagger-shaped clean spot, surrounded by colors. Its intriguing to look at.
"Thanks for the help," he smirks, before walking inside.
Thar, to show you that art with teh Pinnacle=pretty good. Art tis nothing to fear :D
